Preordered this about a month ago and we got it today. Its an advent calendar but we opened it like any normal lego set. My 6 year old daughter loves it and so do I.I attached a picture with 4 pictures, 3 are my own set and then 1 is the stock picture. What you see in the stock picture is EVERYTHING you get. There isnt anything missing from that picture. Of course you will get extra pieces just like a normal lego set just in case you lose something. (You can see the extras off to the side of my 3rd picture of everything built). The build instructions are on the inside flap of the square you open.Even though we opened it all at once, we took turns and the anticipation for the minifigures was REAL for my 6 y/o hah… so a heads up for parents:The characters are in squares: 1 (Harry), 6 (McGonagall), 10 (Ron), 14 (Hermione) , 18 (Flitwick), 23 (Dumbledore). Also a fun snowman in square 15. Gold statue minifigure in square 21. Super excited to give this to my son for Christmas. Wish there were more people (where is Hagrid), creatures and the like, but I knew it was mostly food when I bought it. I know my son will love it, and hope he isnt sad he doesnt get Hedwig… Awesome cant wait for December to get here. Im torn on the Harry Potter Lego Advent calendar. I was looking forward to it. Yet while there are some interesting and unusual pieces, too much of it is very similar to what we already got in the Great Hall set---tables and benches, a fireplace, variations on House banners, and Im particularly frustrated by repeat of the McGonagall and Dumbledore figures. After all, the Great Hall is such an essential part of the new series of Harry Potter Legos. Id think that most people who are willing to spend $40 on an HP Advent calendar would have already bought the Great Hall. So it feels like there are a bunch of missed opportunities where Lego could have made more interesting selections for the Advent calendar. It is interesting to think about how the calendar items could have been better, while still keeping with the HP year one theme to the set. For example, instead of repeating McGonangall, why not make a new Mrs. Weasley? I assume Lego will eventually release more Weasley family members in future sets, but it would be nice to have a new Mrs. Weasley in the meantime. And given that she made the personalized sweaters that were a special part of Harrys first Christmas at Hogwarts, it would have been particularly apt to have her included in this Advent calendar.Instead of another dining table, it would have been better if Lego had included Harrys invisibility cloak as an Advent calendar item, since Harry received it on Christmas.Likewise, I would have preferred if Lego included Filch instead of Flitwick for this Advent calendar. After all, Filch shows up when Harry uses the cloak to explore restricted section of the library. And the Filch Lego figure is harder to come by than Flitwick, since it is in the Whomping Willow set which is fairly pricey but far less essential than the Great Hall set.And why couldnt Lego have done something new with the Dumbledore figure? Maybe dress him as Santa (since the year one Dumbledore already looks a lot like Santa), or at least add his tall wizard hat.Of course, it is easy to suggest alternatives in hindsight. Dont let my comments cause you to lose sight of various charming parts of the new HP Advent calendar. I just hope that Lego includes more unusual pieces when they make the next HP Advent calendar. This seems to be rather over priced for what you get. The surprises are. pretty mundane. There are no magical creatures not even an owl , there are a hand full of characters , Harry, Ron, Hermione . But mostly flags and tables and food items. Even our wildest Potter fan was dissapointed. We opened this all at once to review but I cannot imagine that anyone would not be rather let down by this assortment. This Harry Potter Advent calendar is great for adults as well as children. I love that you can play with them and keep them to add to your current lego sets. Plus it healthier than all those sugar filled calendars. Each individual surprise is thoughtful and will be sure to make you smile. Items include: various food, a snowman, a Christmas tree, fireplace, and mini train! But my favorite prizes are the 7 minifigs that are included which feature the main cast not some unknown/generic characters. Also, the holiday themed pieces will be also useful for future lego decorations in future holidays, too. This set it totally worth its price I now wish they made an Avengers, Batman, Indiana Jones or Pirates set, too! So this is a very cute set for the Potter fan in your family. We are just starting with the books so I cant wait for our grandkids to see this. The box itself is the calendar. A piece of the box folds down to be the floor. Once thats folded down you can see all the doors. This set has 35 pieces, so beware that these will be lots of tiny pieces. Im going to insist we put it together immediately, although Im sure the kids will want to. It will be fun to see the set develop as the days go by. Personally I think this is a one time use - once all the pieces are together you arent going to want to take them apart and try to stuff them back into the calendar - plus the thrill will be gone. However, they will be fun to use in addition to the other LEGO Harry Potter sets. LEGO is very clever, Im amazed at the wide variety of kits they offer and how intricate they can be. Sure beats the red white or greed LEGOS we had as kids! I do think this kit is a bit expensive, probably because its a Harry Potter set. However for a fan its worth it!

Jenga Classic Game

Stack the wooden blocks in a sturdy tower, then take turns pulling out blocks one by one until the whole stack crashes down. Is your hand steady enough to pull out the last block before the tower collapses?. Brand Story By See all Product description

We love Jenga! Weve played it for years - at home, on vacation, at friends houses - its a great game and everyone we know loves it, and this giant Jenga has kicked it up a notch. First off, let me say that this isnt Giant as much as it is Large. Giant makes me think of Jenga pieces so big that it takes two hands to pick them up, and there are companies that make yard-sized Jenga knock-offs with pieces that are three feet across. This is not that. Its Jenga x2: the pieces are exactly twice as big as the original Jenga pieces. 6 compared to 3 - so everything is doubled. So, its large, but still manageable. You can still play it on a coffee table or dining room table, you dont need to clear a place on the floor. You do have to be careful though because when the tower comes down those big pieces fly! Its no more or less fun than the original, but it is a lot easier for guys with big hands to play… we have friends who alway find the original Jenga frustrating because their fingers are too big to delicately remove the small pieces. They love this one though! Jenga is a great game and this is an excellent addition to the Jenga family.PS - Writing reviews has become an accidental hobby for me, and it always makes my day to know that people find my reviews helpful (and if not, why.) Also, if you have any questions, clarifications, or comments please feel free to leave a comment below. I usually respond pretty quickly and almost always within 24 hours. Our family grew up together in some sort of Jenga haze where at every get together this was dragged out and we played for hours.Fast forward 15 years and I got this for my 3 year old (yeah, yeah, he doesnt have the manual dexterity or patience…Stop interrupting me) to pass that haze onto the next generation.Guess what, he loves Jenga!! Just not in the ultra competitive, beer fueled way. He views them as blocks, so we spend an hour or so each episode building stuff and knocking it down.Eventually we will start actually playing Jenga, but for now, his journey towards the haze of my youth is wonderful.Peace, No BS Guy If somebody doesnt know what Jenga is about: it is a game where you build a tower out of wooden blocks (3 pieces per floor), and players are taking turns to remove blocks out of the tower. If the tower falls apart on your turn, you will lose the game. It is very simple and fun game.If youre looking for a game as described above, then you cant go wrong with this product. Amazon delivered it in timely fashion as usual, and the product is exactly what you would expecta bunch of wooden blocks that you can use to build a tower. Also, this comes with game instructions and some kind of stacking aid made out of carton. I tossed the stacking aid to trash, since I find it to be much faster to build the tower by hand without the aid.In my opinion, the game is at its best when played with two people, but theres no limit of how many people can participate in the game. I would recommend using a stable table to play the game on, but a dangling Ikea table (or equivalent) surely adds some challenge. In a good company this game is much more fun than any video game on the market, making it a bargain at less than $10. This game will also work anywhere with decent gravityas long as you are able to find a stable surface. In conclusion, I would recommend Jenga to anyone living on a planet that has a sufficient gravitational force to hold the tower together on the surface, which includes all the areas to which Amazon.com delivers. The classic Jenga set brings back great memories growing up and playing with it as a youngster. But I also remember back in the day of a sturdy clear plastic stacking sleeve. Just hope the current sleeve, which obviously didnt meet my expectations, will last…the reason for mid 3-star rating. I bought the classic to pair it with my recent purchase of the colored wooden blocks of animal cartoons by Sun Top (Top Bright?) since the childrens set didnt come with a stacking sleeve. Nevertheless, Im truly having fun with my grandkids and they love it as well and now I have a game to introduce to my senior friends. Why not offer a sturdier plastic stacking sleeve as an upgrade/accessory item? This set of blocks had a bit of a smell when they first arrived (like pressure-treated wood). At this point, I dont know if it will prove to be more durable than the other blocks game we purchased at the same time or less so.For the kids, this was the perfect size. Not so big that it could really hurt the little kids, so long as an adult was there to watch the fall and to keep exposed body parts (e.g., tootsies) away from the impact zone. The storage for this is the box it came in. Not a big deal, but Im sure it will fall apart some day. Well find something else to put the pieces in by then, Im sure. The other set we purchased:1. came with a bag (not super robust, but strong enough).2. is much larger and more suitable for adults to play3. didnt have the same smell the Jenga pieces did. They just smell like whatever wood they were cut fromConclusion: this set is pretty great, with only a few inconsistently-sized blocks (smaller).I like our larger knock-off set better, but theyre both 5-star products…so far This is a really good game. It actually improves the focus of kids, because if you will lose the focus you may lose the game. The best part about it is, you can plaiit alone or with more players so you are not bound by number of players. I buyed it for my 8 years old son because he liked it so much. We have to actually remove each block at a time on your turn and make sure the tower should not loose the balance. Overall I like this game because you can spend hours playing this without getting bored as well you can finish it early if you have limited time. Overall worth its price and good game.

LEGO City Advent Calendar 60235 Building Kit, New 2019 (234 Pieces)

Description

Give your child a fun way to get into the holiday spirit with the LEGO City 60235 Advent Calendar playset. It has 24 different buildable presents, one for each day of the season, including a snowmobile, snow fort, curling set, fireplace, rocking chair, telescope and much more. This childrens Advent Calendar includes 7 minifigures and a husky dog figure.

Notes from the Community

This is a very fun and interactive Advent calendar set. Like most such Advent sets, it is boxed with 24 compartments, one to be opened each day starting December 1st up to Christmas Eve. Each compartment features a build-able object with an average of about 10 Lego pieces per object. There is a good variety of building projects, including people (and Santa of course!), vehicles, furnishings, food, etc. My favorites include the fireplace with cool glowing embers and the wacky curling athlete with curling stones and broom. The box is designed with a clever fold-down flap that serves as a base for displaying the objects. Weve traditionally used Advent calendars with chocolates and this one is so much more fun and creative (and low-calorie). The only thing missing (at least for our Christian family) is any religious element pointing to the birth of Jesus. Ive already decided to enhance our experience by having my kids build a few Nativity elements to add to the display using other Lego pieces we have. In any case, we cant wait to enjoy this Lego Advent calendar this Christmas! This Lego advent calendar contains 24 different presents that you open, build and play with each day for 24 days leading up to Christmas. The best part of this set is that you can add all 24 components to your very own Lego City/Lego World! It comes with everything from a dog sled, Christmas tree, presents, mini snowplow, chimney, grandfather clock, a snowman, Santa and more! Each year Lego does a completely new advent calendar and in this years there is enough furniture in it to properly furnish a Lego home of your dreams! Another neat feauture of this building kit is that the box acts as a play mat that folds out so that you have a scene/backdrop to play with all of your new Lego minifigures and other fun builds! I highly recommend that you consider getting this because it is a gift idea that just keeps on giving more and more play! :) Oh my gosh, I cant wait for Christmas now!!! Obviously Legos are the best Christmas gift for kids or adults, so the prospect of getting a new Lego object every day in December is FAR more compelling than cheap candy or the little ornament-a-day decoration Ive been using for years. I got the general Christmas themed set, which will go perfectly with the other holiday Legos Ive collected, especially the Toy Shop in the little town square.Obviously the Legos themselves (bricks and minifigs) are the highlight of the set here, but I love that the packaging itself is also part of the toy! They are all configured so the box containing the calendar & little toy cubbies can stand on its own, and the package cover folds down to create a play area. For this set, the box is a wintry scene with snow & trees & a cozy little log cabin (and shots of the minifigs doing all the winter sports), and the play area is an icy pond with a CURLING TARGET!!! And the toy cubbies hold, among other things, all the equipment for curling - the stones, target, broom, minifig competitor, you name it. Having grown up just across the river from Windsor Canada, its a delightful surprise to see this homage to the sport in Legos!!Theres lots of other winter fun in the cubbies, including a snowman, plow, snowboard, snowmobile, snowball-throwing machine (& snow castle to knock down), a telescope for the night sky, an axe & logs to keep the cabin fireplace stocked, plus of course Santa and his sleigh! Although in this scenario, his sleigh is pulled by a Husky dog instead of reindeer, which you must admit is very cute.I kind of expected some random bricks & minifigs (which would be fine, seriously), but the miniature sets in each little cubby plus the set/background created by the box make this SO MUCH FUN!! I love it! Im starting a new tradition, Lego Advent Calendar every year forever!! My kids are already excited about this Lego advent calendar. And its only September! The outside of the box gives them a preview of the kinds of Lego figures & accessories they might get when December comes. My older kids are adamant about not opening any of the little cut-out windows until the appropriate date in December per the window number. Since Im their gift-giver, I got a sneak-peek at the 24 surprises inside the box. Each little gift is well-compartmentalized. Make sure you put the box back inside in the correct order though. Which thankfully the front side of the inside of the box has the right order to help us, gift givers, put the gift-box back accurately (see pic 01).Well-recommended. This is a very innovative advent style calendar for young (and old) fans of Lego figures. There are 24 mini-figures, each in its own holiday design. The box itself has a flap that opens down into an outdoor ice rink layout. Each day leading up to the biggie will make your set up a little more complete. This is a colorful and fun way to a little pre-Christmas fun.The only fault with this setup is that the box itself is a little flimsy and has a propensity to get bangs and dings. I wish the cardboard was sturdier as its obvious that its going to get a lot of handling. In this case the container is as important as the toys. At the current price point I think this should be a consideration. That said, this is a fun and delightful count-down activity. What a cute and clever idea for Christmas countdown!! Seriously $24 and a bunch of fun legos and opening little Doors to legos daily?! So cute. I can not wait for my boys to open this all come December. I opened one for photo and reference but man this is cute!!So the box itself is standing and had a lake like scene for the kids to play with and you can keep the box as a keepsafe for other legos too! I know its not entirely realistic to keep things nice and tidy but for the month it might! If this review has helped please let me know!! This LEGO set is such a fun way to do Christmas countdown! 234 pieces make for 24 different figures, all living in LEGO city LOL There is 7 figurines including Santa, Snowmen, Husky, Eskimo and few other characters. Vehicles are snowmobile, sleigh and a snow plow but most fun is building things like fireplace or Christmas tree! I love love this set and cant wait for December!

Although there are already 9,000 plus reviews and no one will ever read this, I think its worth noting how easy it is to setup the remote to power on not only the television but accessories as well. Remember those code books from days gone by where you had to enter a number of codes to get a remote to work with a receiver, or a sound bar? This thing does the work for you. It EASILY sets up to work both my TV and my SOUND BAR. The fact that my TV is one brand and my sound bar is another is no problem. I love not having to fish for 3 different remote controls whenever I want to watch Amazon Prime or Netflix. WARNING! I didnt realize that when you buy any Amazon device like this one (or a tablet, etc) it comes preloaded with your info. Thats great. But if you gift it to someone else it has all your info, and they can buy & install apps, make in app purchases and so on. You then have to rely on them to figure out how to switch it to their Amazon account…if they even have one.EASY FIX. I guess I just needed to mark the This is a gift or the This order contains a gift box available on the Cart page. High speed internet, wi-fi, etc., did not get to my neck of the woods until very recently so my experience with these devices was limited. The first was chrome cast which was good except I had to bring the laptop into the living room (I dont care to watch on a small screen) to be able to cast to the TV. I know, a not a real big problem, but still awkward. Also, it was a bit tricky for me to set up. I finally took the plunge and purchased the fire stick. I have read some reviews that are quite technical and way above my pay grade. I will keep this simple. The fire stick has been very, very, good for me. Set up was a snap. I dont have a smart TV, just a fairly new, cheap, HD. The picture is great and so is the sound. If there are technical glitches I havent noticed them. I still need practice negotiating the screens, but that will come with time. I am getting used to talking to a machine, but still say please when addressing Alexa. I have already spent a couple of snow days catching up on two seasons of The Blacklist and have almost gotten through Bosch . I still havent had time for the movies. There is so much available it boggles the mind. I guess all of this identifies me as an old person. Well, I certainly am and for me the fire stick is the best thing to come along since the VCR. I would highly recommend it for my fellow oldies who may be a bit leery about trying something out of their comfort zone. This isnt a review, but it is more of a statement… I just got my firestick a week ago and so far I am so unhappy with it. the setup and everything went fine its just that on many of the movies I choose I have audio but no video, another issue is many of the basic channels that I thought were basic like lifetime and CBS and certain other ones I have to pay for to see. I thought they were many more free channels. Another thing, is the buffering. Most everything that I have tried to watch just keeps buffering and I can watch the same movie on my phone or my tablet which is the same Wi-Fi connection that I use for my TV and I can watch the whole movie before I can see anything on my TV. Im about to send this back I dont understand what the big deal is with this item. and I tried to get local channels I can only get one local channel and then I cant even see it live. It just shows me what the latest headlines were on that news show. Please tell me something I dont know or that it will get better somehow. I dislike the fact that I had to pry the remote open with a pair of my scissors. I wish there was a simpler way to open it. Maybe I did not possess the strength to push it open. Also my firestick restarts itself randomly. Support helped me and I thought it fixed it but it did not. Its overheating!! Ive had these issues before but not straight out the box. Really upsetting. We owned the initial firestick and had used it regularly for years. A remote issue forced us to replace the unit, and Im so glad we did! The responsiveness and speed of the new version is amazing! No more lagging or double click. The new remote is also a huge upgrade with the voice control option. Its a must have! This is an upgrade from my original firestick. The installation was so easy, Amazon is really good with their step by step instructions. It works perfectly but the thing I like even more than the voice control is the size of the remote. That original remote was ridiculously small and easy to loose.

Fire TV Stick 4K with Alexa Voice Remote, streaming media player

I received the Fire TV Stick 4K on launch day. I own the previous model and this is a much better experience. First off the remote is a huge improvement. The power button on the remote can turn on my tv, my receiver, fire stick, and switch the inputs automatically so the fire stick is on screen and ready to go with just one click of the power button. Its really nice. This is how it should have been all along. It gets even better though… lets say my TV is already on, and my receiver is set to a different input such as my FIOS tv box? All you do is click the home button on the remote and the remote switches the receiver to the correct hdmi input on the receiver for the fire stick! One remote to rule them all, and yes it controls volume on the receiver too! This is excellent. Its highly configurable. The setup is quite nice. You can define which inputs get picked when hitting the power and home button. You can define which device the volume buttons control. Amazon has done a great job with the Fire Stick 4K.Its faster than previous fire sticks. No more menu lag. Things are smoother and faster overall. Ive used Roku, Chromecast Ultra and Fire Stick… I like them all for different reasons. I also dislike chromecast because 5.1 audio will not work on my receiver because chromecast refuses to support Dolby Digital or DTS 5.1. Fire stick has no problem handling DD5.1. This makes my plex and netflix experience much more enjoyable. The remote is better than not having a remote (chromecast). Rokus are very nice as well. All 3 of these options are great in their own way and frankly I had thought fire stick was the least desirable but recently Ive come to realize I prefer Fire stick so I pre-ordered the 4K fire stick and I could not be happier with it. Amazon needs to keep up the good work. The 4K stick is a solid product and an excellent upgrade from the previous model Let me tell you, I was super excited for the launch of the new FireTV Stick with its leading edge technology and processing power. Well, its got that but theres a couple bug, game breaking problems I have with this thing.1) The Amazon platform is basically retooled Android, which is a crap interface. Its cluttered, redundant, and Amazon being Amazon wants you to use all their services over everyone elses so not only does their menu get in the way but the top third of the home screen is promotions for whatever they want to push.2) Also because its Amazon they want you to use THEIR streaming services to rent movies so much so that there is no Vudu or Google Play app available to install. If Prime Video had a decent selection of rentals (it doesnt) or a halfway usable interface (it doesnt) I would have less of a problem.3) Our FireTV Stick has issues with flickering and sound dropout. Tech support immediately supplied a series of less than helpful troubleshooting tips. Did you try a different TV? Did you try a different HDMI port? Despite my Roku working just fine. I elected to return this since I was already fed up with the closed interface and terrible menus.Slightly less of an issue but still annoying is the inability to completely turn off HDR. Its either always on or adaptive meaning the content dictates HDR which is a problem especially with Netflix (which is calibrated too dark on some TVs)For now Im happier with my Roku Stick despite less robust HDR support.Edit: updated my review for the following:- Amazon reached out immediately after my review to get additional feedback and to offer more support. That actually means something these days. Ill continue to monitor for problems- I upgraded to a new TV and this makes the HDR issue better since it actually looks good on this TV. Problem still stands of not being able to disable HDR entirely if needed- The smart controls feature is nice. I can use Alexa to change TV inputs now.- Less flickering on new tv but still have sound dropoutsHowever my issue with not having a way to watch VUDU/UV movies is a huge issue. On top is that, MoviesAnywhere doesnt tell you which movies were transferred over in 4K. So while the titles may sync, in cases of certain films (eg Deadpool 2) you only get the HD version and not the UHD/HDR one you paid for. Until this is fixed Ill leave my review at 3 stars. Our main streaming service is DirecTV Now, and this stick doesnt run it right. The app seems to works and then just freezes. When I go to run a speed test, the connection is super low, and then ramps up over time back up to full speed. Its as though the app crashes the stick. Other things seem to work fine, but not the app we use the most. Will return and continue to use gen 2 and gen 3 devices. Too bad.UPDATE: So, I deleted DirecTV Now and did a fresh install. For the past three days, things actually worked well and considered revising my rating. Then I tried to watch a little Sunday football. CBS froze over and over again and caused the app to continually crash. Thought maybe it was the local CBS stream because other channels worked fine. Then I tried the Roku I have in my kids room, DirecTV Now worked fine. Figured Id give it another go for the second game, same result. Watched Rams/Seahawks in my kids room with no issue on the Roku device. Again, other apps seem to work fine (I think) on Fire, but this stick isnt right just yet. Id wait for problems to work itself out.

Notes from the Community

There are hundreds of reviews for this product, so rather than touching on what has already been said, let me just throw in some Dos and Donts if you find yourself, like me, navigating the vast array of options in the streaming space.Dos1) Do your research! There are several different models for Roku, depending on what YOU really need, want or want to pay. I bought a Roku Express because I was upgrading from a 1st generation Roku device and this one is (or at least feels) a thousand times faster, more powerful and has the upgraded software interfaces for apps like Netflix where you can manage your profiles - the older versions did not support that ability, it only presented your default profile.2) Use the power adapter that comes with it. Sure, you can plug it to your smartTV usb port for power, but if you read about this, there are tons of issues that stem from lack of power supply to the device.3) Think where you will place your device. This is NOT a set top box, this is a tiny (half of your hand palm) device that has a double tape and sticks do your TV. It is not invasive, it has nice black finish so it wont ruin any aesthetics, but once you stick it on, you need to leave it there, otherwise you could end up with a tape that will no longer work, creating an extra hassle - think location first, then execute and paste it.4) Play around with it - it has lots of configuration options, like turning on your TV with 1 touch, casting your mobile screen, etc. If you go only by the default options you might miss some fun tricks!5) Match it with a good router/wifi setup. The worst you can do is have a nice TV, get the top of the line 4K enabled Roku and pair that to a sub-par WIFI connection or a provider that will not support your streaming needs. Remember! this is not plugged by cables, this device streams over the air radio waves, so the distance to your router, obstacles, speed of your network (not only download speeds, but actual WIFI band speeds) can all affect the outcome, so do your homework and think about your entertainment system as a whole, not just the TV / streaming portion.Donts1) Not everybody needs 4K streaming and NOT all providers support it! Many providers will charge premium for UHD Content and offer HD as standard option, if that is the case for you, spending extra $$ on a 4K TV and a 4K streaming device will be wasted. (again, see my last DO bullet item!)2) Let your expectations be unrealistic - Yes Roku provides tons of free content. Free means many of the channels are privately supported which means the content may not be UHD.3) The REAL Fun from roku comes when you enable the channels based on your paid content (netflix, hulu, amazon, premium networks like hbo, nfl, etc…) so if you want to really exploit your Rokus capabilities you will have to pay at some point for prime content.I hope this helps - I am an early adopter of Roku, have major streaming services like Netflix, Prime and supplemented with an a la carte cable service like sling, spectrum choice, DirectTV now or any of your preferred providers and this will unlock all the major broadcast networks, plus some other channels. One last thought: The interest thing is that Roku has a channel for many of these major network stations and watching their content through the Roku channel as opposed through the cable provider app, Ive found that there is more content outside, and better choices for on-demand.Hope you like my review! Fantastic product so far! After the first week, we bought a second one for a family member.First thing: Before you buy, understand what content is free and what is not. Second, in case its not obvious, the Roku operates over your wifi and internet connection. You have to have an internet connection that is fast enough to stream video. If you cant stream video on your mobile (via wifi) or PC, you wont be able to stream it on the Roku either.Subscription content: Anything that you have to pay for elsewhere (like Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, network TV streaming, etc), youll still have to have those same subscriptions. But the Roku allows you to access all of those subscriptions (the ones youre paying for) from a single device on your TV, with a nice interface that nearly anyone can use, even if theyre technology-illiterate. Worst case, if you get lost somewhere, just press the Home button. (But keep in mind, each channel on Roku is an app written by the individual content provider, so some are a little more complicated than others. I suspect for marketing reasons, its not always obvious on some of the network TV channels which content is free versus paid until you try to play it. But youll always be prompted before paying for anything, and you can add a pin-number to prevent accidental purchases).Ad-supported content: There is a lot of ad-supported content, just like watching free over-the-air (OTA) TV stations. For network TV (ABC, NBC, CBS, CW, etc), check each networks website to see what shows you can watch for free directly on their website, and thats generally what youll be able to watch on Roku, too. After all, the channels on Roku are apps written by each network. For many networks, the free content includes the last 3 to 5 episodes of things that are currently airing, with content being made available a week after the original broadcast date. This is comes in handy if you miss an episode or two of over-the-air TV. Some of the networks also offer free throwback content, where you can watch an entire series of an older show. And there are a few channels like pluto.tv and tubi.tv that provide a wide assortment of ad-supported movies and TV shows. Again, check their corresponding websites to see what content they currently have, and thats what youll get on Roku. The ones mentioned above offer some relatively recent content, in addition to a lot of older and slightly-older content.Free, without ads: Mostly, youll find that the ad-free content is extremely old… lots of black-and-white TV and movies, some early color TV/movies, etc. For those who dont like much of whats on TV these days, theres a lot of classy and classic stuff here. And, of course, a lot of b- and c-grade stuff youve never heard of.This newest version of the Roku Express (5X more powerful) has a very smooth interface, with good response from the remote. Video startup is extremely fast if you have decent internet speed. I tested on a relatives 6mbps DSL internet, and buffering times were never uncomfortable. On my faster internet (100mbps), videos either start instantly, or take no more than about 1 or 2 seconds of buffering. The remote control is great — simple, strong signal, good range. Its infrared-based, so you have to be in the same room (why would you want to be out of the room??). I generally dont even have to point the remote at the Roku box, because the infrared is strong enough to reflect off of the ceiling or walls and still work. Just be sure your Roku boxs front side is unobscured and pointing toward the room. They provide a sticky-tape strip to stick the box somewhere convenient, like the side or top of your TV or media cabinet. The provided HDMI cable is only 2 feet long, though, so it does have to be relatively close to the TV. But you could use a different HDMI cable if you need the remote to be a little farther away. One feature I love about the remote is that pressing the Home button will turn on your TV and switch to the Rokus HDMI input, assuming your TV supports this (I have a Samsung TV which is supported, and a TCL TV which apparently wasnt). You can also use the Roku app on your mobile to control the Roku via wifi. In addition to providing an interface that looks pretty similar to the physical remote, you can also browse for other content while something is already playing. It fact, its quite a bit easier to navigate if youre searching for something specific, since the physical remote requires using an on-screen keyboard where you select each letter and click OK (normally, Im not searching for something specific on the physical remote, so its not a problem). The app also has a headphone feature, which Im guessing allows you to listen directly from your mobile instead of via the TV… great for watching at night when others are sleeping. Note, the Roku app is NOT designed to watch Roku content directly on your mobile. It simply lets you select the content to watch on the TV.Overall, its a great experience. My only subscription at the moment is Amazon prime, which doesnt have a lot of content that I really want to watch (sorry, Amazon! I have Prime mostly for the shipping), so I use the Roku mostly for ad-supported TV and movies, and theres more than enough to keep me busy for a long time.

Notes from the Community

I never used this product. I unboxed it and then downloaded the app & read the user agreement and absolutely cannot consent to the terms. Please read and understand the clause about subrogation claims BEFORE you use this product. It puts the user at admittedly unlikely, but very real legal and financial jeopardy in the event of the product failing in such a manner that harm is caused- for example the cord catching fire. USER is repsonsible for all legal fees or fines/claims against the product EVEN if the product was at fault! For me, being someone who just lost a home in a fire with a product that is being pursued under subrogation by my insurance company there is NO WAY I would consent to this!! I love this WYZE camera! This is the 6th one I have purchased! For the price, you cant do better. I have this camera mounted outside, I purchased the little house available here on Amazon, and so far so good! I have a great view of my driveway! I already have two other WYZE cameras outside, one protecting my front door and one protecting the back door, and they work great during the day or night. I have had those outside since Frb and they have survived cold, snow, and rain. I dont use the alerts, so I cant comment on them. I record directly to SD cards. The picture is clear and the app is useful. I also have three Amazon Cloud Cameras too, which I also love, however I have to say, these WYZE cameras have more features, recording to an SD card for one, then the Cloud cameras have. Plus these WYZE cameras are a quarter of the price! I have one camera pointing outside through my living room window. I have to turn off the night vision due to reflection, however i get a great view! I wish I could think of more places I need to monitor, I would buy more WYZE cameras! I want to begin by saying that I have been very interested in owning security cameras in my home, but Ive never wanted to spend a bunch of money on it. I heard about this camera through a tech news article and I thought that I would give it a shot. After all, a $30 1080p security camera with some free cloud storage just seemed to good to be true. What I like:Picture quality is very good and setup was easy. Priced very well too! Each camera comes with a metal plate and some sticky tape which allows you to put this on any flat surface. This is nice since the camera has a magnet on the bottom of the stand.Updates come out regularly to fix bugs. Hope that continues for many years to come! The two way audio quality is actually pretty good! Talking to someone is kind of a pain though. Speaking of that…What I dont like:To have your voice protrude through a camera, you have to open the camera on the app and press and hold the mic icon. To hear the other person though, you have to unmute the camera. Seems sensible so far right? Well every time you tap that mic icon, the camera mutes itself again. Kinda pointless to advertise two way audio if the person on the app has to constantly unmute the camera in order to hear the person on the camera trying to talk to them. Not sure why it wont stick to the setting I choose. The recorded alerts are too short. For instance, I have a camera setup in my garage to start recording after it detects sound or motion. Whenever the garage door is opening, I get alerted and the camera starts recording. However, the recording lasts just long enough to see the garage door open and nothing else as recordings are between 9-12 seconds long. There appears to be a cooldown between each alert too. I say this because I dont get another alert in the time it takes me to park the car, close the garage door, get out of the car, and walk across the camera to get into my home. Having a microSD to continuously record everything would circumvent this, but having the ability to have recorded alerts be 30 seconds could avoid this whole issue. You can now setup times as to when the camera will send you alerts, but unfortunately these options are just limited to time of day and do not include day of the week. So if you were hoping to set it up to alert you Monday through Friday between the times of 7am and 4pm, you couldnt. This will always alert you every day of the week between your specified times. This is a small complaint, but the app saves an image of the thumbnail for each camera directly on my phone. Id prefer the thumbnails to stay on the app itself and not saved in its own folder in my pictures. This also goes for my avatar picture on the app.Summary:This is a fantastic security camera for the money. Most of my problems are software related and (hopefully) will be fixed soon. I look forward to updating my review after they get some more options added and address some of the issues that I mentioned above.Update: 1/3/18Both of my cameras frequently disconnect and require power cycles in order to get them to work. They may work for a few hours or a day if I am lucky. Also alarm notifications are not coming up until I open the app making the alerts almost worthless. Ill wait again for an update, but Im kinda losing hope here.Update: 2/20/2018They pushed out an update to help fix the frequent disconnects that I was experiencing, but now only one camera seems to work consistently at a time. (This is in regards to live streaming) What happens is I always seem to have one camera fail at random while the other one continues to work fine. As soon as I power cycle the camera that isnt working, the other one goes down in about a day and I cannot connect to it anymore. If I power cycle that one, then other one goes down. This has been going on since my last update and I now only power cycle them if Wyze pushes out an update as it gets old having to power cycle them every other day. I still get notifications on the one that happens to be down, so its just the live streaming that doesnt work.Speaking of notifications, if you are on an Android device and are not receiving notifications from the app, try disabling any battery optimization settings (i.e. Doze) that are interacting with the app. Disabling that should make the notifications come up again. My phone recently updated to have the Doze feature in Android 8.0 and disabling those settings seems to have made those work again. The camera video quality is definitely good, but there is no privacy… Since there is no way to use the camera locally without their app and just using a regular app like ip cam viewer that simply uses RTSP, I ended up putting an SD card on it and disabling its internet access by assigning an IP that is restricted by my router…Well, to my surprise, the camera is CHINESE intelligent and decided to change its macaddress to a new one (completely different from the one in the back label) in order to gain a new IP from my router and regain internet access.Definitely not a safe cam for indoors…(I should appear as a verified purchase… Although I bought the item directly from wyze I used amazon payments to pay for it). Not sure about how secure it is. They say they utilize a 3rd party called ThroughTek (offices in china and japan - none in US) to handle the transfer of videos. Wyze Cam claims the content is sent securely to aws. Examining the network traffic from camera shows that content is routed thru many providers including AWS, Linode (US) Vultr/Choopa (europe) and Aliyum/Alibaba (china). They seem to also utilize NTP server in Russia. To get more details.. search on web for WyzeCam sending data to servers other than AWS and you will find a Reddit article. How does Wyze ensure that ThroughTek is not eavesdropping? For me to trust Wyze Cam, I need to have clear control over end to end encryption of my data to ensure no 3rd party has any way of accessing my videos. Why cant the data be sent directly from my cam to AWS (s3 bucket)? Why can I not have access to AWS logs (s3 logs) to review which other IP address has accessed (or attempted to access) my content? Just claiming that this is a secure solution, doesnt work for me.Other than this security concern that I have, the end user experience is great for the camera in other respects. Of course the price is super good.

Fujifilm Instax Mini Instant Film Value Pack - (60 Total Pictures)(Package may vary)

Description

Style:Value Film Pack Share 60 original photos with Fujifilms instax mini film 60 exposure value pack. Fujifilms best mini film value. High-gloss provides top-quality finish

Notes from the Community

Better off buying at Costco or Target. Arrived as three cellophane bound packs of ostensibly Chinese origin (all writing on pack was Chinese and web address on pack was .cn) Fuji 2x10 packs, not the package pictured.First package I tried to use would not eject plastic cover and entire pack of film had to be forcibly removed from camera and thus over exposed remaining film. This wasted $12 worth of film and could have destroyed my camera. Rediculous. This film is sold at local retailers at a cost of about $1 more per unit or, as I now know, at an equivalent price for the product actually pictured at CostCo.Dont waste your money here. Very, very happy with Instax Mini film and the Mini 90 camera. A serious photographer for 25 years, no other genre or format has given me so much pleasure. Results are instant and fun. I love the new polaroid I got for Christmas from my parents! As far as this pack of films goes: The first set of 10 images turned out great, I loved them all. But then the second set of 10 I opened up they all printed completely black, I was seriously disappointed by this. I hope the rest of my prints turn out well.UPDATE:I bought the Fujifilm Mini Film Value Pack with 60 prints from Amazon. So far I have used 5/6 packages included in the box. And so far Ive been very disappointed. 34 of the 50 prints I have tried turned out completely black. Only 16 of my prints have worked so far. After the two that turned out black, I completely read the instructions so I know that I am doing everything right. I dont know if Im taking the pictures wrong but Ive very clearly read the instructions and even went as far as to use a measuring tape to make sure my distance is correct, but Ive taken 12 pictures and theyve all come out black. And in various settings and room temperatures. I had the issue with the first film I bought from walmart, but once I figured out how to take the pictures they worked. Im doing the exact same thing and STILL getting black pictures. I was only trying to shop through Amazon because it was a bit cheaper and this isnt even expired film.Edit: Turns out, after walking around my house about a thousand times I was FINALLY getting pictures, but I wasted many films already. It needs to be RIDICULOUSLY bright in the house for it to not develop black pictures, even though I know I was in stupidly bright rooms. Regardless, its still cheaper than Walmart and Ill get it faster. Ill be buying again. I love these little pictures. All of mine have worked and developed. If anything is wrong with the pictures, as in under/overexposed, its usually my fault because I forget to pick the correct setting! Remember that you cant squeeze the film pack, open the camera when theres a pack of film inside, shake the pictures, or expose them to direct sunlight. If all of that is avoided (and you pick the correct setting) pictures will come out well with a vintage look. Ive bought a couple of these 60ct family boxes and Im never going back. As somebody who kind of consistently uses their instant camera pretty frequently its nice to have multiple packs at home with out having to run to the store every 20 shots. Also if you do the math, this is one of the best deals in instax mini film that you will find around. Now I just have to wait for these to be back in stock to order even more. I liked that it was cheaper to buy 6 packs at $34.However, when I used one of 6 packs, three of 10 films were defective. They came out with black.I hope remaining 5 packs are not defective so I wont be disappointed Sum up of the review_ works great. I would recommend this.Full review- None of them were expired or anything and the picture came out great. This film is probably the cheapest film you can buy for the instax mini. When you input the film box into the camera you have to be sure you do it right or you will mess up your camera. This film came on time and was not tampered with at all. The pictures come out so great. I wouldnt buy any other brand of film if i were you becuase this is manufactured by the same company that the camera are made of. When you put in the film box into the instax mini camera remember to read the instructions before you do so because you ca end up exposing it to sunlight or putting the film box into the instax mini camera wrong causing the camera to mabye get damaged. When you have imputed the film box the first picture take is just a black film box sample thats why when you put in the film box it says s which stands for sample an a soon as you take a picture and get rid of the sample it will say 10 in the little circle which is how many films you have left. When you are imputing the film box be sure not to touch or press to hard again the parts of the film box. I would recommend buying these in bigger packages because you will get more and in the long run you will save more money. […]I f you have any questions feel free to ask!

Only good as a toy in close by propertiesIf your internet goes down then back up as it always sometime does in New York City or State the camera will sometimes not reconnect to your WiFi network as it has happened with 3/4 cameras .Since the camera is not responding to either WiFi or LTE your only option is to manually unplug it then plug it in againThis would solve the issue but what happens when you are a 1000 miles away ?Until Wyze ( like Nest does ) codes the software so that the camera reboots itself when attempting to re- connect these cameras are just a gimmick to watch your cat .I am not the only one having same issue as I got numerous emails from forumYou can try to fix by having WiFi AC plugs turning on Pandora off but not reliable This little camera is VERY impressive. I currently own a Nest IQ indoor camera and have owned a couple Foscam indoor cameras in the past. This Wyze camera produces excellent picture quality and has a very easy to use app. The fact that you get 14 days of clips storage for free just blows the Nest cam out of the water. This camera does so much that the 10x more expensive Nest Cam IQ at a fraction of the price. So how does this stack up against the much more expensive Nest Cam IQ indoor camera? You dont get continuous recording stored online, you only get clips stored online. However, you can pop a $10 32GB microSD card into this Wyze camera and get continuous local recording (meaning its being recorded on the card in the device). You can view your recordings in the app. At HD quality, you get a couple days storage on a 32GB card, more if you go SD quality. You dont get the ability to turn the camera on/off based on whether or not you are home. Personally, I really like this feature so it isnt recording us when were home. Just feels weird. Wyze support says they may add this via IFTTT in the future. You can control whether or not motion recording is on when you are home using IFTTT. However, Ive found it a little buggy. You dont get the Nest IQ facial recognition which is very high tech. Im not sure how important this is for an indoor camera. Its amazing for the Nest Hello doorbell. You dont get a monthly fee with the Wyze cam. You pay a fee for the Nest Cam IQ.I cant believe this thing is so cheap and works so well. It has so many features like the big guys. Even the two-way audio is decent. If I had one complaint, its that the motor that rotates the camera is a little loud. Im still giving this 5 stars. I guess its sensitivity to sound is a little high too.It seems like its too good to be true. If you are looking for an indoor security camera, you found it.TIP: I am using this SD card in the camera and its working fine. Inexpensive and does the job if you want local recording - . Silicon Power-32GB High Speed MicroSD Card with Adapter - New EditionNOTE: In the video, I have the camera attached to a mini-tripod. The camera has a standard screw mount for a tripod. You can get a little tripod for around $10. I like it because it raises the camera a bit and provides some extra stability, decreasing the chance it can be knocked over.----- 07/2019 HERE ARE SOME ANSWERS TO COMMENTS PEOPLE HAVE LEFT BELOW ----- Yes, it will continue to do its cloud recording when you have an SD card installed. There is an events tab on the main page of the app for the clips. You can also open a specific camera and tap view playback to see the continuous recording. When viewing on the SD card, there is a delay as it loads up the video. For example, you scroll the time line back 8 hours then there is a 3-4 second delay as it loads the chunk of video around that time. Once it loads, you can move back and forth in it instantly.- I am going to say my 32GB card is getting a little over 3 days recording in a room with only light activity. I cant speak to how that time grows as you increase the size of the card. Im not sure if 64GB would get you 6 days. Seems like it would though.- To the person that thinks the app is useless, Im sorry to hear you are having such troubles. I think the app works well on my Android phone (I dont know about iOS). However, I do believe that those kinds of things can happen. Its not a perfect app and they are adding features which can introduce bugs. Considering the cost of this camera, the app is phenomenal but some people are going to have problems. Hard to predict.- The other app question about it being efficient - yes, it works much better than those other cheap camera app. There is about a 2-3 second delay before it brings up live video. Im not experiencing freezing. However, that is heavily dependent on the network in your home and the network you are using on your phone when you access it (e.g. mobile, slow WiFi, etc.).- Im not sure about the comment about not auto-rebooting when you lose WiFi? Ill say that the cameras survive power failures perfectly. We just had a three hour one last night. Booted right back up. I have reset my network periodically which causes my WiFi to go down for about a minute and the cameras come right back online.Im still using this one and the regular Wyze cam. I still think these are SHOCKINGLY good values. I feel like I wasted so much money on my Nest cam. I should sell it and buy 5-6 Wyze cams. Im a bit of a camera addict. I have hardwired (fixed) cameras that are hooked up to a DVR, and I have 4 Nest cams as well. But we have a lot of pets, and I wanted to have some PTZ cams to be able to look around and check on them when we are away. I heard several tech podcasts (TWiT, Stacey on IoT) ranting and raving over this Wyze cam, so I took the plunge on one. WOW, how amazing to get all this, for $30 (plus shipping)! The image is super-clear, and I LOVE the ability to scan around a room via my phone. I even installed the Wyze app onto my Pixelbook, and when I enlarge the image on my big screen, it looks incredible. I have only had the camera hooked up for a day, and I am still learning the ropes, but I am SO pleased, I am going to order another two, if not three cameras right away! The motion detection feature is pretty slick. I set up the camera in our spare bedroom, where some of our cats hang out, and when Barbie came in, the camera detected her and began following her movements. She was intrigued at the noise (noticeable, but not loud, btw) of the camera whirring, turning. I have attached a screenshot I grabbed via the app, where she is examining the Wyze cam! Highly recommended. I am a fan of wyzecam but this wyzecam Pan is disappointing. Both motion tagging and motion tracking doesnt work even after firmware update. The cam for no reason sometimes just freezes up. I have to power off and on by removing the micro usb cable in order to get it working again. I tried to return it but the return time was over. I am so disappointed and I will never advise others to buy this model base in my experience. How I wish it works as advertised. The bug or whatever it is should be fixed and if it is this unit that is defective I feel I deserve a replacement unit from Wyze. The other units (3) of wyzecam v2 i have is much better in performance. They work great even in my echoshow.UPDATES!Wyze reached out to me and changed the unit. It was on the second attempt that I got a perfectly functioning wyze cam pan.Despite better functionalities than the wyze cam, I feel the wyze cam pan MUST be tested before shipping. To avoid the pains I went through. If you get a fully functional wyze cam pan then you will love it. I have given a 4 star now.

Notes from the Community

I purchased two of these cards almost exactly 4 months ago, in preparation for some fall releases. Ive bought a lot of digital cash cards for PSN from Amazon, its an easy way to use credit or to tuck something away to save for later, when I KNOW I want a game.I used one code early September and was prepared to use one the day before Red Dead Redemption 2 came out. Unfortunately, it did not deposit the $60 into my account. Instead, I get this error from Sony. The code you entered is inactive. Please check terms and conditions. I try multiple browsers, multiple devices.I contact Amazon and Im told its not their problem, its on Sony. I contact Sony, send them the code itself and the purchase information. 2 days later, I hear back. Its not their problem, its the retailers. I contact Amazon again and get told that I can no longer get a refund, they cant do anything and how would $3 in credit make me feel?Dont buy digital codes from Amazon. I was unaware there was a ticking clock on it, I was given no indication that I would have to use in X amount of time and now Im out $60 and Amazon will do nothing.DONT BUY DIGITAL CODES FROM AMAZON. You never know when they just might not work and youre screwed out of your money. Amazon wants to know what I think about this item, a digital code for $10 of credit on the Playstation Store. Theres almost nothing that I could tell you about this that you dont already know if youre actually looking for Playstation Store credit. You buy this item, and a minute or two later you can find the code in your digital codes section on Amazon along with instructions to redeem it and a link to go right to the redeem page with the code pasted in for you in case youre too impatient to read. The codes have always worked for me and theyve been delivered in seconds, which is more than I can say for Sonys own built-in payment methods which like to lock you out arbitrarily. Well, except when someone steals your account then suddenly Sonys got no problem draining the daily maximum of $150 from your bank account or credit line. Which is why you should get these cards instead of putting in money directly through a payment method on Sonys site, because nobody can steal money if you dont have a method of getting it from you. The best a thief can do if all you have is store credit is use your store credit to buy a small amount and theyll probably just go on because its not even worth the time. Where on the other hand if they get $150 they can buy in game items and trade to another account and sell them for money.Advantages:Codes can be given to someone else as a giftDelivered nearly instantly and easy to log in and apply the codeCredit in your account instead of a payment method means theft is more difficultAll the old codes are in your Amazon account so you can look back on how much money you wasted (wait, maybe thats a disadvantage)When you buy digital, a Gamestop executive weepsDisadvantages:Not a physical card so if you want to make a physical gift out of it, do it yourselfCredit in your account is never the amount you need exactly so theres leftovers you may not use for a whileMost games now charge tax so you wont actually be able to get a $10 game with a $10 card, you need a smidge moreOnce in a while they run out of codes and they take their sweet time getting more in, which stinks if you want a game right nowAmazon will send you emails asking what you think about digital gift cards and suggesting more digital gift cards for your collection, since youre obviously a connoisseur of letters and numbersWhen you buy digital, a Gamestop executive weeps This should be a professional service, if youre out of stock on digital codes, youre required to get them back as soon as possible. Their are way… too many people who depend or could afford a $10 or a $20 Playstation Store Gift Card. Please stop using strategies to force customers to purchase your more expensive cards. Id post an update if i get a reply from the relevant seller. El tiempo de llegada del código es inmediato I usually buy the 10$ code for everything… running out of codes and not stock it back is a great way to show how less they care about the customers who depend on this value codes. Ive been waiting for about a month to buy a code and nothing I cannot believe you dont have any supply. Very disappointed with this policy fast easy poor n broke due to fortnite i cant stop nor get rid of 2 months spent $3,000 on in game skins so on i still have no friends to plat with online ps4 i may sadly cut my loss on wasted cash just blew $125 thus far in a day 11/9/18 for the football complete teams ugh!!! online gaming hate it fortnite is a disease that got me i must sadly stop it buy my normal games leave this to the fortnite pc famous paid!!! gamers for twitch n tournaments SAD i spent/spending so much on the free game but every 24 hours new skins are posted emote dances ugh wish i could figure to sell my fortnite account get some money back it destroyed my life literally 3 friends broke up 1 divorced over the game!!! all my ps cards were are for the game lol then paypal was connected to it on ps4 n i cant buy what i want new games out due to money pit fortnite just cos cool skins to buy! unique ones nov. 13th deep freeze rare skin set comes out now too ugh!!! Tried to buy a digital code because I was being lazy and didnt wanna drive to the store and back for a gift card to add money to my Xbox account. Big mistake. Took longer to verify the purchase than it wouldve to just go buy a card. Then trying to redeem the code it started a whole new set of problems. Following the link to redeem took me to microsoft and update profile pages and adding information (which is already on the account) and now my Xbox account cant add codes from the website or the Xbox. Now I gotta deal with customer service and more annoying crap. Lesson learned. Dont buy digital cards from amazon its a pain in the ass. Just buy the prepaid cards at the store Worked perfectly…Within a few minutes after checkout, I received the code-(which is typically located on the back of the card when purchasing this at the store), added it to my account & it was able to be used right away with no problems. Personally, this saved me a lot of time & hassle as I live in a rural area & purchasing the digital code on Amazon allowed me to skip the drive, wait in line etc. Now that I see how effortless this was compared to buying the card at the store, I intend to purchase the digital codes from now on. Perfect transaction start to finish!! Highly recommend! Happy customer! Bought this as way as a alternative to going to the store.Bought it for my little brother sent him the code, he put it on his account and it showed on there as the picture above then he purchased a 4.99 item off fortnite as it shows also in the first picture. Thinking he had about 10 dollars left he went to buy something else but was found with a balance of 1 dollar and some change. Im not sure if Microsoft didnt allow the full amount into his account or they just charged for something else that he didnt know about. But Im the end this scammed me out of 10 dollars. I bought a card and it worked fine. About 2 weeks later I ordered another but the code didnt work. I talked to Microsoft support a little but quickly realized that the order simply hadnt been processed yet so the new code didnt yet arrive. If your code doesnt work, try waiting a minute then refreshing the page (if youve purchased one before). So much easier than running out for gift card. I dont want my credit card on the live account bc the kids can order whatever they want if I do I love the ease and quickness of purchasing the digital Xbox gift cards instead of having to go to the store and waiting in line to buy a plastic card that does the exact same thing as its digital counterpart. Save yourself some time and gas, just buy your gift cards here on Amazon and get access to the funds instantly. The future is here people, take advantage of it! This worked great.. I had never bought 1 online before and was giving it to someone in another state. GLAD TO SEE THIS IS AN OPTION FOR ME TO SEND THINGS TO THE GRAND CHILDREN THAT THEY WILL LIKE.**I have bought this 3 times in the last week for my grand children, so easy to buy and just send them the code. No waiting for the mailman to bring it**** Bought this for my cousin who lives across the country. Process was very easy, I completed the order on Amazon then less then 2 minutes later I was emailed the gift card code which I just forwarded to my cousins email address. He was able to redeem the code on his Xbox One to buy a new game.

Links Awakening on Switch is one of those must-play games that gives you feeling of nostalgia and the stimulation youd expect from a 1st party Nintendo game. What youre getting here is a top-down 3D-mesh re-creation of Zelda Links Awakening, as it was over 20 years ago when it first released on the original Game Boy. The modern switch remake is literally the same game, but it has more than your typical coat of paint. It comes with a dungeon creator, some new menus and inventory screens. The remake also has wider viewing angles and we are now done away with screen scrolling, which is replaced with smooth screen transitions that helps the world come to life. The developers designed the game with a 60 frames per second target, but sadly it doesnt feel as smooth as it should. The game runs a dynamic resolution. The primary resolution\frame rate youll see is 720p 60. In some indoor areas the game can, and will jump to around 976p and even in some rare instances,1080p, but its quite rare. Even with the game running at 720p, the frame rate can sometimes be all over the place depending on where you are on the map. In the swamp area(as an example), the game actually dips to 30fps to compensate for cpu bottlenecks so prepare for that! In terms of gameplay, the movement, inventory management and pacing is fantastic, and the dungeon design as well as the overworld is small, but dense and filled with color. The art style and design might not be for everyone, but if youre a fan of A Link To The Past, and even if you played Links Awakening over two decades ago, this faithful recreation makes for a fantastic return on the Switch. Legend of Zelda - Links Awakening This is a remake of the black & white version of the game made for the Game Boy System. The game was released in 1993. Actually I would better state this is a complete make over that maintains the story line and game themes of the origional and add a few innovations not present in the first edition of the game. The music plays an important part in the game and was quite memorably. I was very fond of the Game Boy version and will ruefully admit it was one of the few Zelda game I every finished. How does this version stack up against the 1993 version? Its like watching a favorite show on wide screen in color when you had only seen it on a small black and white screen previously. The technology and graphics from 1993 to 2019 is like night into day.Sure there is a reminiscences of thats not how it was done back then but then again when you see the graphics on the new version - Wow! The music is still similar but again it is upgraded with the technology available today. You didnt get much fidelity out of those Game Boy speakers. No, this is not in the same league of BOTW nor is it intended to be - sorry no paraglide here. It a beautiful remake to one of the classic Zelda games and as such has lot of play value for new fans, young and old. Now we need an updated Players Guide the game! This is a straight up, almost exact remake of the original game with a few minor differences. The claymation-like graphics look incredible! The only minor quibble is that the frame rate is inconsistent in several areas, which I expect to be fixed with software updates. If you loved the original, you will love the remake. If you want to feel even more nostalgic, get a retro controller for the switch, like this one:https://www.amazon.com/8Bitdo-SF30-Controller-Windows-macOS-Android/dp/B0748S3GXG/ref=as_li_ss_tl?crid=1XR9Q41TCYYZ5&keywords=snes+switch+controller&qid=1568975468&sprefix=SNES+sw,aps,222&sr=8-1&linkCode=ll1&tag=deepr-20&linkId=cc1ed4b382e22f054c5d4509224d67ed If you have played the original version on the Gameboy you will be getting a block by block recreation with a few modern conveniences thrown in. The art style brings this game into the modern times without changing the overrall feel of the game.If you have not played the original but have played any Legend of Zelda game before, you will feel right at home here. Due to this being a remake of an older Legend of Zelda game, it is not the open world you may have experienced with Breath of the Wild, however if you got immersed in the world give this a shot! This follows a very linear path traditional Legend of Zelda games before and after it.I thoroughly enjoyed reliving this adventure and think Nintendo did a wonderful job bringing this game to the 21st century and introducing this classic to a new group of gamers!Pick this title up you will not be disappointed! One of the greatest Legend of Zelda adventures of all time updated in a beautiful 3D remaster. I still own the originals so it will be interesting to play through again and see what has changed… Or what I still remember. Just started it up and the intro is wonderfully animated. Gameplay is solid.

The Water Dancer (Oprahs Book Club): A Novel

See Price

Description

Amazon.com Review An Amazon Best Book of September 2019: Ta-Nehisi Coates is the author of one of the most important nonfiction books of this decade, Between the World and Me, which means that his fiction debut arrives with a great amount of anticipation. Would the urgency of his nonfiction writing come through in a novel? Would he be as nimble in a made-up world? Would it be good? The answer to all of these questions is a resounding yes. Coatess novel is the story of Hiram Walker, who was born into slavery on a Virginia plantation that is owned by his white father and experiencing a slow decline. Although Hiram is gifted with a photographic memory, his motherwho was sold away when he was youngis the one thing he cannot remember. Indeed, many of the women in his life are taken away from him too earlya fact that will guide his actions later in the novel. The story blends the brutality of history with more imaginative elements: for example, white people are called the Quality, black people are called the Tasked; and Hiram possesses powers that fall into the spectrum of magical realism. As the novel moves north to Philadelphia, where Hiram grows into his own and begins working for the Underground, and eventually turns back to his southern birthplace, the fantastical elements only give greater power to the story. The Water Dancer is a stirring debut, and Coates is the novelist we were hoping he would be. —Chris Schluep Read more Review Hiram tells a tale with many harrowing subplotsand moments of great beauty… . Coates is an exceptional prose stylist… . [His] depiction of the cruelty inflicted on slaves is unflinching. And with great care and insight, he shows us how Hiram and those he loves find sustenance in shared hopes and memories… . Coates is among the finer nonfiction writers of his generation. This potent book about Americas most disgraceful sin establishes him as a first-rate novelist. The San Francisco Chronicle [The Water Dancer] feels like a natural bridge … and the product of a lot of carefully considered passion, too. Nearly every paragraph is laced through with dense, gorgeously evocative descriptions of a vanished world and steeped in its own vivid vocabulary.Entertainment Weekly Read more See all Editorial Reviews

i love smie, sisters and drama they are the best i just relly want to read it.I am souch a big fan I am diying to read guts. please et it puplosh now!!!!!i am so dying to read it. it sounds rlly good!! like, what happens to raina !? and plis, i wanna read … it… NOW!!-march 25,2019—unknown- All of her other books are well written, long, great plot and overall amazing. I was expecting this to be so good, knock yout socks off AMAZING!!! But heres my honest review, it wasnt , I wouldnt recommend buying it becuase it is short, the plot is confusing and Im kinda confused. spoiler She gets anxiety and panic attacks based off germs, bullies, and a stomach flu and long story short, the bully becomes her freind and her bff moves away, she goes to a thearpist and some girl gets her period. This is all based in the 4th and 5th grade spoiler over. Good book if you like short reads, might be better for a younger age group. Overall, I dont think its worth $7.99. Her other books are OUT OF THIS WOLRD!!!!!!!! Its A great book, any book by Raina Telgemeier is a great book in my (Im a teacher, and Raina is one of the students favorites) opinion. However, very disappointed in the way I received it. It is a paperback, and was shipped in an envelope. Look on the spine and you can see where the book was bent before I even opened it or started reading it. I know its a paperback book, but it should come looking at least like a book not like damaged property already. Very disappointed. Daughter loves these books! My girl is 9 and began reading these last year, third grade. I love these books because they opened her to the world of reading in her own. She struggled with reading for a bit although she always loved books. With these she will sit and read..and finish in a day or two! But she re-read them and is also into reading other books by Raina. So very thankful for this author, hoping this love for reading stays with her. I started out reading her books Sisters and Smile They were my favorite books at the time! Rainas Sister book took place when Raina was in High School. I was a bit worrried this would take place is late High School, but it did not. Luckily, she rewinded in time to an appropriate age, which I very highly enjoyed. She writes lots of my favorite books! She then wrote the graphic version of th baby sitters club. Now I not onky have the ones she wrote, but also almost all of the originals. Definatley can not wait for her next book to come out! This book shows many realistic things all people can go through in their lives and I could relate to some of them. Please read, I PROMISE you will not regret it. I loved this book! i know i know you dont have to tell me i am a fast reader but really i flyed thru this i am a super smart fast reader not to brag but look at me oh wait you cant lol i am awesome probaly the most popular at my school but this book was awesome i obvsiosly wouldnt know about being stresses what to be stressed about when u live the perfect life but i was most intrigued about one of boys on page 72 also if u can guess my age i wil reveal my self to guess just post a review saying: The seceret age is __ if u win you will get a suprise gift from amazon anything u want under 1000! GOOD LUCK!!!! My daughter (age 10) saw the book on her bed and devoured it in no time. Relatable characters and relevant story lines. Im looking forward to reading it when shes done with it so we can talk about it. Thank you Raina for this wonderful mother-daughter binding opportunity - absolutely priceless!

Super cute dress. Im 59 155 lbs and bought a size large, it fit perfect and not too short. Absolutely adorable. Perfect little black dress I love the quality of the fabric and it has a nice shape. Im 56 210 and got an XL. It was nice but could be looser. Overall I am happy and will be purchasing more clothing from this seller in the future! (Im on the right) Very good material for the price! Overall pretty happy with this purchase. It was maybe a smidge too big. Im 55 and about 140 and got a medium. I absolutely LOVE this dress. I buy from amazon all the time and this may be my favorite. Not cheap material like you typically get with an amazon buy. Im 57 185 and its the perfect length. I ordered it in 2 other colors. Im a D and typically a 12-14 size Large was perfect. Like another review mentioned, there is an odd seam right on the front. I only saw that one review saying this so I thought maybe it was just the one she got, but nope. Maybe in another color it wouldnt be as bad, but in white the seam is very prominent. I ordered down a size because of the reviews and the fit was good, but I cant get over the seam. Will be returning. I lots of read helpful reviews before purchasing, and I got a bit worried about the fit when I opened the package and felt the material. Put the dress on and zipped it up and it fits beautifully. I tried it on without a bra on and it was not see through. For reference, Im a 38C; 51; 165lbs and have a cone body shape. I love this dress. I feel that it is a generous Medium in size. If you are the girl that cant decide on the medium or the large, then this maybe your dress. I usually have problems with fit in the chest 37DD (36 too tight 38 too big) I am sure ladies with similar size understand this. I was equally concerned because it has a zipper in the back and that usually is the kiss of death. This dress didnt let me down. I also think if you arent as well endowed that it wont look big up top. The V-neck isnt too deep but enough to wear most any necklace. The sleeves are great with the bell and complete the look and the length is perfect. Not too long (I am 5.5) hits above the knee, but I can move freely without fear of exposing too much like some dresses. Im 49 and find that some I feel age inappropriate, however I am too young for other styles. I did order both the medium and the large for all of these reasons and the medium fit like a glove, so will return the large. Gotta love Prime and Kohls returns! This dress is adorable. It is fairly short. Im 5 feet tall and it comes above my knee. I ordered up a size (got a medium) because I wanted something a little loose and flowy… should have gotten a large. Im 5 feet tall 125 pounds and pretty curvy. It fits perfectly now but no extra room as I had wanted. Ill have to decide whether to keep it or Exchange for large. I have to say its very cute, although sheer.UPDATE: I ordered a large to see if it would give me the boxier look I wanted. It does not, it just looks too big so I am returning it. Heres the kicker though, it is lined! The last one I ordered is not lined, and if youll notice above I even said it was sheer! I thought about ordering a third time In medium in hopes of getting a lined one, but who knows what Ill get next time. Ive decided to just get a slip in black. Still an adorable dress for the price .

CYZ Womens casual stretch cotton pajama pants simple lounge pants charcoal

Description

Notes from the Community

When I first received these lounge pants I was quiet happy. By habit, I tend to remove light-weight and delicate clothing to air dry after running through the washer. I used this same technique with the pants as a precaution to minimize stress to the material. After all, I really liked the texture and flow of the fabric and just wanted to take a little better care to extend the life of the item. This was not due to a caution from the manufacturer/seller about how to care for pajama bottom/lounge pants. Surely my precautions were not necessary for any reason other to keep them looking nice and new as long as possible.Well, that was fine until I was packing for a trip and wanted to bring both pairs of lounge pants. One pair was already washed and air dried and the other was dirty and still needed to be laundered. Since I was under a time crunch I decided to put them in the dryer with other items after running through the washer.UGH! Huge mistake! They shrunk several inches in length and at the waist after just ONE wash/dry cycle. Unwearable. I dont know what, if any, recourse is available to me as Id purchased them in January and had worn (and washed BUT air dried) them many times in 2 months. I can no longer wear these.Bottom line, if you buy them, do Not use the dryer. Washing in the machine with other items is fine…except you MUST line/air dry.The pics included show the disparity in length between the two pants. Longer one has been line dried, the shorter one went through the dryer ONCE. I am 55 and weigh about 135 pounds but I like my pants to fit loose around the waist and to be fairly loose but not baggy. I usually wear a size large because I dont like the elastic in the waist to feel tight. I ordered a size large in these pants and they were way too loose, even with the drawstring tied. Several people had mentioned shrinking so I decided not to send them back but to wash them in warm water and see if they would shrink. They did shrink somewhat but they are still a little to large — the legs are cut very large and would fit nicely on someone with broader hips and larger rear end. But Im keeping them for sleeping pants because I like my pj pants to be real loose so they dont bind. I have ordered a medium and hope it will fit me just right. Id like to be able to wear them as casual pants around the house and not just for sleeping. Ill amend this review to let you know about the medium. But these definitely run large. I suggest you order one size smaller than your usual size. I am so surprised with the quality of these PJs, I will be buying more! I was expecting a thin cotton but it is more of a thicker stretchy fabric, more like sweat pants material. The fabric is soft and very comfortable. There have an elastic waist with a cord in the front to tighten the fit. I am 175 pounds, 55 with larger hips and typically wear size 14 or Large. I did not want them too tight so I bought them in XL and they fit great (loose enough to be comfortable but not baggy). Great product for the price. Very disappointed. These are NOT 95% cotton. They are 57% cotton and 38% polyester. I never would have bought them if the correct information had been given in the description. I hate polyester. It pills and it clings, and its not as soft as cotton. The pants also have an odd mildewy smell. I will definitely be returning them.UPDATE after four months: I decided it was too much trouble to return them. The smell washed out after a couple of washings, and they have held up pretty well despite the polyester content. Theyre actually pretty comfortable. Would prefer 95% cotton, and I wish they were a little thicker, but theyre not bad, worn as pajamas. Im 53 and 125 lbs, and the large Charcoal is a little long and loose on me, but I kind of like them that way. So I raised my rating from 1 to 3. Purchased this for lounging around in & to look halfway decent when running quick errands like to the grocery store. Very comfy and true to size. Im a size 14 at 5 feet 9 - ordered a large. Fits fine. Very lightweight material is great and yet its downfall. Good black pair of pants that can be worn in the summer but unfortunately holes appear. I purchased a Hanes Capri pants that were terry cloth & the quality is much better for the same price. Doubtful I will purchase again. I love these pants. They are great quality for the price. For reference, I am 52 and usually a 4-6 but am carrying extra belly at the moment and I purchased the medium. They are pretty roomy, which is what I wanted as I wear them as lounge around the house pants, but would be fine wearing them out for quick errands. The material is a great weight and they are well-made. They are as long on me as they are on the model, but fit at my waist, which I personally am very happy with. Just put another pair in my cart:-). I also purchased https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B077RVGWL7/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 to wear with them and its a pretty jazzy outfit for less than 35 bucks. Way too short in the crotch. Not my first pair and the others bought several months ago were far more comfortable . Iam 52 and weigh 98lbs I ordered a size XS and it fits just fine (maybe a little long but I dont mind) it has adjustable straps which is awesome and its stretchy for extra comfort, for the price I payed ($10) I will order a couple more for sure!!

Notes from the Community

Seriously, these are the best undies ever. They are thick, like swimsuit bottoms, and very comfortable. The lace is very comfortable and doesnt dig in or itch. For reference Im 56 and about 130Lbs. I carry weight in my bum. I initially tried a small and they were too tight and gave me a mega muffintop. I went with the medium and I have never been so pleased with underwear in my life. Seriously, I never knew they could feel so great! They have absolute full cheek coverage and a wedgie is not something you need to worry about. I have done a ton of walking, working, working out, everything and these undies stay exactly where theyre supposed to. They are lower rise/hipster, which is exactly what I want and love. I have one pair or super low rise pants and the lace top of the undies pokes out, so Ill either wear different undies or a longer shirt. These undies also move with you and stretch so when you bend over you dont show your crack! I plan to replace all my old underwear with these hipsters as I can. The 3-pack is totally the way to go since they are the same great quality as the singles. Oh so comfortable. I put on a little weight so I got the extra large and they fit very nicely. Very well-made and comfortable, soft, airy fabric. I will be ordering more. My husband and I share this account, so ignore the name. For the sake of the review I felt it was important to clarify that I am a woman.I purchased two packs of these in different colors. First, its important to note that these are not all the same material. One pack I received was polyester and the other was cotton. I thought I was receiving polyester per the description. I just went back to check the listing to make sure I didnt miss anything and apparently I did. If you select a different style/color, the description of the underwear does NOT change until you ALSO select a size. This was an oversight on my part but was also a bit misleading. I like to be pretty active and Im not a fan of how cotton underwear tends to stretch and get baggy throughout the day so I returned the cotton ones. The polyester ones are a cheaper itchier material than what I am used to. Especially for the brand. Not bad. Just OK. The size was also smaller than I expected. I usually wear an XL and have even lost 10lbs recently but these are a bit tight. Still wearable but if I were to order again, I would definitely go up a size without fear of them being too big. Overall, if you are looking for OK, basic underwear, go for it. If you were looking for something a bit nicer, Id look elsewhere. These are pretty great, I love anything with a lace waistband for keeping the muffin looking smooth. I purchased some elsewhere and was happy to find them here. However, the ones I bought elsewhere were cotton and the ad for these states that they are mostly polyester (ew). I took a chance and ordered the same color 3 pack Id purchased in another store and they are cotton. If youre looking for cotton I can tell you that the black, heather gray and toasted almond combo are cotton as well as the black, charcoal and pink combo. You can tell by the pictures that some of the others are actually polyester. They should change the description depending on what color combinations you choose. I wear a size 8-12 in pants and usually buy a size 7 in undies. I purchased the size large which says 7 and they pit fantastic! I love the comfort and simple yet feminine look with the lace. These will be my go to undies from now on. These are amazing! Extremely comfortable, not too tight in any area - I was most concerned about by my legs but the fit was perfect. No muffin top and they dont sit too high on my waist. I have bought Victorias Secret underwear for as long as I can remember and these are 10x more comfortable for half the price. Will be buying more! These panties are awesome! I ordered a size 2xl/9. Im postpartum and my stomach is much larger than usual. I love the waistband. I find that some panties roll down on my belly right now but not these. They stay put and I love the lace around the waistband. Its a thick, comfortable lace that stays in place and isnt scratchy or irritating. These panties are so comfy and I feel like they give me some much needed support after my c section. Ive included pictures with measurements. If you found this useful, please click the helpful button 😉 Fabric is very soft and stretchy. Bottoms, Im in between an XL and 2xl in certain things. 59 190lbs with bigger hips, butt, and thighs. I ordered a 2x and they fit great. Not tight what so ever. So comfy and smooth. The patterns are pretty. I will order again. They fit my body perfect.
