Description

The Corentium Home by Airthings radon detector is a state-of-the-art measuring instrument that combines ease of use and performance. The Corentium Home by Airthings radon gas detector allows you to take a reading of the radon levels and its LCD screen displays the average daily, weekly and long term concentrations. Powered by 3 standard AAA batteries, the radon monitor makes it easy to take measurements from one room to another in order to get an overview of the concentrations of radon in a home, workplace, school, a daycare centre or any other location. The Corentium Home by Airthings radon detector is also an essential tool to use when performing property inspections or when checking the operation of a radon mitigation system. The internal architecture of the Corentium Home by Airthings radon monitor comes from advanced technology normally reserved for commercial-type detectors. Particular attention has been paid to the quality and protection of the internal components, allowing the use of algorithms for signal analysis that are more sophisticated. The Corentium Home by Airthings radon gas detector quickly adapts to its environment and eliminates inaccuracies related to external factors, allowing it to obtain the best accuracy in its niche. The Corentium Home by Airthings radon monitor is guaranteed for one year and in normal home use, it requires no annual calibrations throughout its useful life, estimated at over 10 years.

This is one of the most important $200 purchases Ive made. Having this in my basement was extremely eye opening, showing me that:-The radon mitigation fan that was installed in my house, which is working in the green (according to its vacuum indicator), does essentially nothing to reduce radon levels. On or off, same averages. See update below, I dont believe this to be completely accurate anymore. Just dont RELY on your radon fan as your only means of protection.-The radon levels can swing WILDLY when air-moving appliances are in use. My basement averaged around 1 pCi/L for months, then shot up to over 5 when we began running the heater. I believe the heater was lowering the relative pressure in the basement (exhausting air via flue), causing far more gas to be sucked in through the cracks in the concrete slab and foundation walls. Im currently in the process of remedying that, and this tool gives me the info I need to know if my changes (patching cracks, ventilation, etc) are making a difference. Were seeing our radon drop to the lowest levels yet due to our improvements, thanks to the help of this tool letting us know what is working and what is not.You simply CANNOT rely on some professional coming into your house and testing your radon level, even if tested over a long period of time. The average radon level in your house over a week or month is meaningless when it can change so drastically month to month. If you live in a place where radon is known to be problematic (Im in CO), then you need continual monitoring.Update:After a lot more testing, Ive come to appreciate my 80 watt radon mitigation fan that pulls air from beneath my basement slabs. With it on, a few windows cracked, and the central air intake in the basement sealed to increase relative pressure, Ive managed to get radon averages from 5 pCi/L (dangerous) to 0.50 pCi/L (safe) regardless of the heater occasionally running. I purchased this detector in January 2017, so I could monitor the radon in the lower level of my house. I live in an area with high radon levels.Set-up was super easy - just pull the plastic tab sticking out of the battery compartment to turn it on. It immediately goes to calibration mode, then it goes into detection mode. You will not get any readings until after the first 24 hours. This is not an instant read device, like a digital thermometer. It is meant to remain in an area of your house, where it will continuously monitor. The lower digital display toggles between the 1-day and 7-day averages, while the upper display gives the radon average since first activating.I placed my detector on a shelf in the amusement room. The first few weeks, I checked the readings every day. They seemed consistant from day-to-day. Then I only checked it a few times a month. I did notice that radon levels would increase after a heavy rain; perhaps the water in the soil would push the radon to an area of less resistance? In August 2018, I checked the detector for the first time in many months. (With my readings being fairly consistent, I had stopped checking it all the time.) I was surprised to see the lower display reading 0.00, because I knew it was impossible to have zero radon in my house. I moved the detector to the kitchen, where I could keep an eye on it. After a week of 0.00 readings, I finally pushed the reset button on the back. It went into calibration, then displayed Err 4. I tried new batteries, recalibrating again, etc. but still stuck with Err 4.I emailed Airthings customer service, explained my situation and asked if there was any way to get my detector working again. They replied with several tests for me to perform, and asked me to report back. Everything I did didnt change it from the Err 4 display. To my surprise, they said they would be sending me a brand-new unit! Being seven months past the warranty end, I certainly wasnt expecting this! All I had to do was email photos of the front and back of my detector, along with my original Amazon receipt. I was asked to dispose or recycle my old detector. What fantastic customer service! A company that stands behind its products and makes customer satisfaction a priority! Thank you Airthings! Opened the box and pulled the plastic tab as instructed. About a minute into the calibration phase, I received an ERR 518. I reset the unit and same thing, three times in a row. Replaced the batteries and this time I got an Err 4 and Err 6 code. Seems that others have this error after many years of use. So, I either got a DOA until or one that was returned and sold as new. Returning and buying another.I will update as I receive a replacement unit but spending $200 on a unit like this and receiving a DOA makes you question the quality control and potential accuracy for that matter.UPDATE BELOWI purchased two more units. This time both work without an issue but one of the units has bubbles on the screen from the protection tape and the battery tab missing. AMAZON IS SELLING USED UNITS AS NEW. I ran both units for 3 days next to each other in the basement and got completely different readings. See second photo. With a $200 piece of equipment youd think there would be quality control with a more accurate calibration. How is amazon returns looking past this, or why are the units not sealed to indicate they have in fact been open.

Notes from the Community

It is rare that I am compelled to write reviews for purchases, and very rare that I write a review 15 minutes after opening the box. I just got this item and tried it in my car and was blown away by how well it worked. In combination with how many confusing reviews there were for these types of products, which would complain about the most minor issues as if they were deal breakers, I decided to add a slightly more thorough (and less whiny) review.DISCLAIMER: I DID NOT TEST THIS PRODUCT WITH HEADPHONES AS THAT IS NOT WHAT I AM USING IT FOR. This review was also written after only using it for a short while. If this sentence is still in the review when youre reading it, it means that I am still happy with the product, have had no issues with the unit since writing this review, and have had no reason to update this review with further information.First off, let me describe my use case as this is important for your decision. I have an old JVC head unit in my car with no USB port or bluetooth functionality, only a headphone jack. I listen to YouTube and bandcamp music a lot through my phone (Xperia Z5 Compact) with an aux cable, and the headphone jack on my phone has something wrong with it causing audio to cut out at the slightest bump. I still love the phone, though, and dont want to replace it (out of warranty). So, I turned to this very inexpensive idea to try and fix my issue. (Ive been wanting bluetooth in the car for a long time, anyway.) I also use navigation on my phone pretty frequently. So, the unit is very small and lightweight (a good thing) and the 3 buttons are laid out just fine. The packaging is good and you get everything you need except a 12v cigarette lighter adapter to charge the unit in the car if yo have no free USB ports (but those are very cheap as well.) I did not read the manual (dont need to.)Onto actually using it. All I did was take it out of the box, power it on, pair it with my phone via Bluetooth, and then plug it in in the car. The headphone jack on it is very tight, which I think is a good thing because it means your jack will likely not loosen over time with lots of use as the one on my phone did. The unit pairs quickly and easily. Also, I noticed a lot of reviews on these that complained about the fact that you have to hold the power button for ~1.5sec when you first get in the car. This is ONLY an issue if you want the unit to be hidden and out of sight. I dont care at all about this and it doesnt affect me at all. Also, is it really that big of a deal to reach into your glove box and push the power button for 1.5 sec to turn it on? Just dont put it in a stupid spot to get to and route your aux cable well. The only issue I had with the unit in testing is that I powered it off while audio on a YouTube video was going, and then powered it back on, and the audio would not play through the car speakers again---only the phone speakers. This was a simple fix for me just by disabling and re-enabling Bluetooth. So, I dont think this is an issue as I wont be doing that in the car normally. The buttons on the unit will actually control the functionality on your phone. So, if you hit the pause button, it will actually pause the media (youtube video, song, etc.) you are listening to on your phone. The volume buttons actually change your phones media volume. I did not expect this (not sure why) but I absolutely love it. There is a slight lag time from pressing the button to it actually pausing, but I dont care. The sound quality was exactly the same as my aux cable (when it worked). This was determined by listening to the same YouTube video (a song) I had listened to a short while before. The sound quality is actually excellent. I DID NOT NOTICE any audio popping when I paused the music or powered the unit on/off, as some reviewers have mentioned. So, I give the sound quality full points on my particular unit. Your mileage, however, may vary. This is a cheap item made in China, so I bet there is a lot of variability between units and I lucked out (so far.)And that pretty much sums the unit up for me. It works very simply, and it works well. Now, there is only time left to tell whether or not the unit will last. I plan on leaving it in my car all the time plugged in via cigarette lighter, we will see if this seems safe once summer comes back around and the unit gets hot.Again, if this review still has these sentences in it, it means I am still happy as can be with the unit for my use case and have had no issues. I will update if I have any issues. This thing works great right out of the box. All I did was plugged it into my AUX port, press the main button to pair with my phone, and thats all. Im able to listen to my podcast over my car speakers, as well as make and receive calls. On a single charge I have gone about three or four days which is a lot because I do a lot of driving for work. When the battery is going low it will sound an alert over the speakers letting you know. It will also send a notification to your phone with the batteries percentage. Youre able to pair two devices to it pretty easily. The song quality is just as good as it was with my aux cord without all the wire all over the car. As far as the construction I think its made of plastic but that really doesnt matter because Im not going into combat with it. I just plug it in and leave it alone and Im not worried what its made of. One good thing I can mention is that even when the battery is going low you can plug it in with the micro USB, and charge and play at the same time with no feedback noise. Tested it out on a couple different things and notice we can make the kids gaming headsets Bluetooth as well as stream to any home stereo with aux if that is something you could use. All in all very good deal for the money. Im hoping that future models are made smaller though. Its actually pretty small but the smaller the better. During the warm months in Texas, which is basically all the time, I mow our property while wearing a pair of 3M worktunes hearing protectors. Listening to the radio is a big improvement over nothing, but over the years radio programming has gotten worse and Ive wanted to listen to Spotify or audiobooks. Theres nothing wrong with my headset, and a new bluetooth-enabled one was like $70. SO (!), using the 3.5mm headphone jack, which thankfully it does have, I was able to mount this little device and ta-da! Now I have bluetooth headphones for $14 instead of $70.It was easy to set up and the sound quality seems great. My only concern, to-be-determined, is durability. It looks like a very high quality unit but this one is going to be subjected to lots of direct sunlight, dust, vibration and bumps. So we shall see. But so far, its a very cost-effective way to upgrade older audio equipment. Usually I have an iPod (old school, I know) plugged into my car stereo, but recently Ive started using my phone for music. My car stereo deck is not bluetooth capable so I had to look for other options. Since my phone has no 3.5mm jack, bluetooth was my only option. I found this product on Amazon and I am more than happy with my purchase. I am not an audiophile but I am quite picky when it comes to the sound quality of my music. I run about 1500W to my door speakers and sub so it is important that the quality of the music is good. This product does a wonderful job of allowing my old stereo deck to continue to be useful while moving to the modern world of streaming music. My only compliant - a relatively minor one - is that a beep is heard when switching tracks over the speakers. This can be fixed if my phone is not on max volume. If I turn my phone down one notch below max, then everything is fine. Not game breaking, just a minor inconvenience. I dont use the microphone.I bought this because its small and I intend to velcro it onto my motorcycle helmet. Also because it only has one button on the front - play/pause, which makes it easy reach back and pause playback with gloves on.Its very light, which will help it stay on my helmet.Im a little concerned that the velcro wont stick to the luxe finish very well, but so far it seems ok. Maybe super glue will solve it if it becomes a problem.Im pleasantly surprised by a seemingly unintended feature… you can press almost anywhere on the front face and it will play/pause - you dont have to push the actual button. This will make it even better for gloved use.Sound is good, but Im no audiophile and such things dont make much difference in a helmet.

This stainless steel scale works really well for us. For the price you cant beat it.If you cook and bake a lot like we do, the scale helps achieve an accurate measurement. Its super convenient when a recipe calls for an ingredient in grams and you dont have the tools to measure, this scale is simple to use and accurate. In our video you can see it turns on quickly. You can change the unit while the item is on the scale. And it turns off within seconds.Weve used this scale many times over the last few years and we are still using the same AAA batteries it came with. The small grips on the bottom of the scale are nice to have.Overall its a great scale and even better price! Bought this scale to weigh my litter of puppies. Its fantastic so far. I just put a plate on it, tare the plate, and then set a puppy on it. Works like a charm. Would definitely recommend it. Plus its very nice looking. Great for the kitchen if thats what youre buying it for. This scale is terrible. It is true, you get what you pay for and I only paid $8. The weight reading continues to move up and down. I used a calibrated scale side by side and weighed 4 grams. This scale went back and forth from 3-5 while the other one gave exactly 4. Honestly wish I had spent a little extra money on a better scale. I work in law enforcement and need more precise weights than +/- 1. Edit 5/9/19 - So the seller asked if I would receive a new unit at this point to see if they could take care of the original issues I had with the first product. This unit seems to have fixed all of my original issues with the product over the past 2 weeks. They went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied. I would recommend.Original review - I meal prep and I bought this to weigh out all my food for the entire week and then cook. The one day I cook a week I use this scale for maybe a half-hour in total on time. I turn it off and then the next week I go to turn it on the batteries are dead. Ive changed the batteries everytime I use it essentially. This thing drains the battery even when not in use. Easy to use, pretty accurate scale, love the way it looks (very sleek and easy to clean since its a stainless steel top)The only issue i had is looking at the actual read out… Since the entire thing is pretty flat on the top, if you place any sort of decent sized bowl or plate, it completely obstructs the digital screen. You end up having to see if you can push back the bowl and get a look at while bending over to look under the curve of the bowl or placing a thinner box and the plate or bowl on top of the box.Honestly the scale would have been 5 stars but the fact you cant see the display without going through a mission is pretty annoying.EDIT: After giving it 3 stars Etekcity contacted me to let me know that they had a larger version and sent it free of charge, it was the Etekcity Digital Kitchen Scale Multifunction Food Scale with 30% Wider Platform 11lb 5kg, 3 GP Batteries Included (Stainless Steel), which pretty much negates the issue I mentioned above. And after I looked it up they have a newer version of the one I was sent that has the read out to the side which seems even more practical. For customer service alone, I had to raise my initial 3 stars to four! I just recently received this beautiful and most of all easy to use kitchen scale by Etekcity! This scale was extremely accurate and precise. When measuring cooking ingredients, I was relieved to know that the digital scale did not become imprecise, meaning bouncing back and forth between decimal points despite the unit changes when shifting to and from grams, ounces, and milliliters. Overall, the scale could also virtually fit anywhere in a kitchen (I.e., kitchen drawer, cabinet, on the counter etc.) In addition, the scale is quite nicely made and I suspect that it will be very durable and last me a long time! I considered long and hard about how to rate this product. It is designed to do one thing, weigh small amounts of food. It is aesthetically designed well. And that is as far as it goes in delivering on its intended function. The tare or zero function is coupled to the measuring function. Meaning, when you put a dish on the scale then zero the display, the resulting value will include the weight of your finger pushing the button. The product fails to do what it is advertised to do; accurately measure the weight of food. The designer must not be an engineer. I would recommend another product to weigh food. I will be returning this and finding a better product. When I do I will update this review with my findings. (I gave it two stars because. It looks nice) Not sensitive to low weights. The scale is almost useless for measuring out spices and yeast and other items which are in the low single digits of grams. You can only work around it by putting something heavy on the scale (like a plate), then putting the measuring paper on top of that and then pouring on the ingredient. The last scale I bought from Amazon did not have this problem. The scale is also grossly imprecise, on the order of 10-20%. This can be tested easily - put a cup on the scale and measure a significant amount of ingredients, say 14 grams of salt and 6 grams of sugar. Remove the cup and put a different cup on the scale, tare the weight, then pour in what should be 20 grams from the first cup. It will come out WAY different. This scale is basically trash. The last scale I bought from amazon was routinely accurate to within 1%.

I like REAL SIMPLE, had subscribed before, but when I subscribed via a sounds too good to be true promotional last year (Real SimpleSold by: Synapse Services, Inc. $5.00 Condition: New), it WAS. I have NEVER received one magazine. Buyer and Meredith Corporation, beware. Ive looked Real Simple since it came out. The digital version was identical until recently. Now the digital version represents only a sample of the articles (and all the ads) isolated from the rest of the magazine. You barely get any content. I still like the print version even though lugging it around is inconvenient. Im cancelling the digital version. I really like Real Simple.I have been getting it since it came out. BUT, now that ive gotten into my 70s, I find that it has little to offer me. The recipes sound good but i cannot eat most of the ingredients that they are made from.I have to do a lot of switching ingredients and then it is not that dish ay more. The clothes are for working women as are so many other things in the magazine. It is a heavy magazine so i cannot carry it with me when i go out to a place where i read while i wait or on public transportation.. I have only read 1 copy of Real Simple cover to cover in all the years I have been getting it. So I am forced to give them away because one can only save just so much. I am not a hoarder. But ENJOY anyway, especially if you are a young woman. So disappointed with my new subscription. I flipped through the whole thing in about 15 minutes. Its almost all adds, with a few decent recipes and a short story thrown in. What a waste. I actually love this magazine. The print version is done well and there are always articles that I read and keep. I am rating this three star based on extraordinarily poor customer service. I wanted to take the digital version with me on vacation, but for some reason could no longer access my library or download copies. This is recent, as in past, I have always been able to do so. I emailed RS for assistance. A week passed with no response. I followed up and received a response that they needed additional info as they could not locate my account. I provided the info they requested. No response. A week passed and I followed up. Two days later I received an email that they needed the same info I had already sent as they couldnt find my account. I sent it again. A week passed. No response. I followed up with a third request. No response. Today I follow up with a fourth request, but have little hope that RS has any interest in helping me with this issue. This was very disappointing. If RS does not wish to provide customer service, they should stop implying that that they do. This magazine is about 80% advertising with very little actual articles. Very disappointed Ive had an issue with this ever since I ordered it. Real simple keeps contacting me telling me I owe them more money for this subscription that I already paid for. Real Simple is another of my eye candy magazines that I enjoy looking at and not having to actually think. Just enjoyable and Amazon makes it easy to keep track of my subscriptions so I can just toss those annoying renewals that seem to start as soon as the first issue of any magazine arrives. I like reading online, but also enjoy hard cover mags.

Ordered a 12 month subscription (10 mags) on 1/11/2017. Only got maybe 5 magazines before I was charged for a second yearly subscription only 10 months later 11/11/2017 for over twice as much! What a hassle to cancel it!!! Wonder if I will even get the rest of my subscription… Hearst Mags Sucks!!!! I used to love this magazine and have back issues Ive saved for the recipes. Lately this magazine is going WAY downhill. I used to be able to plan a week or more of dinners just with this magazine every month. Now Im lucky if there are 2 recipes I want to try. Content is hard to find amoung the adds, stupid articles about celebrity chefs, ridiculously elaborate fluff recipes (think a cake that looks like a ceaser salad, fairy toast, and the latest- candy mixes in your teams colors!) If you truly love to cook and love to challenge yourself look elsewhere. This is a magazine for people qho are either just starting out cooking, or arent looking for a challenge in the kitchen. I have a problem with having my account charged for something I didnt intend to buy. I signed up for a 1 year subscription magazine as a gift for my Mom that I cancelled to find out Ive continued to pay for the kindle edition that I didnt even know I was signed up for. I will be sure to leave a good word for you guys to family and friends. Find another way to do business. Great magazine, especially given the $5 price tag. Its jam packed with goodness. I like the Readers Best tips - advice given to other cooks from various readers. Usually theres a writeup about specific items with different stars posting their favorite recipes (for example: All-Star Spreads was a page listing 5 famous chefs favorite condiments and accompanying recipes.). Its not just about food, either. There are beautiful pictures showing before/after kitchen remodels and must-have kitchen appliances and gadgets. My 12-year old daughter loves the Name that Dish page that comes at the end of every issue. Its a yummy recipe that readers get to name and prizes given out to the ones who win. My favorite part, of course, is the abundance of recipes in every issue. Ive found a ton of new things to try…from soups to cocktails and everything in between. Many of the recipes are basic enough that I have the ingredients at home. Others are more gourmet and require a bit more prep and shopping. Theres something for everyone in this magazine - especially if youre a foodie like me!For those worried about automatic renewal at a higher price, the solution is simple. Simply go to your account and look under Membership and Subscriptions. Find Print Magazines. Once selected, you will see all of your current magazine subscriptions and when they will be renewed at the lowest Amazon price. All you have to do is turn off the auto-renewal setting by selecting auto-renewal settings and turn off. Easy peasy! I love the magazine. My issue is that Hearst doesnt ship it in the clear, protective wrap. It comes mangled. The 3rd issue was torn up and creased horribly. It looked like someone stomped on it. I have ordered it before and it came protected it. Major let down. Im not renewing due to this. Who wants to pay for an item that comes looking like it came out of a garbage can? I was expecting more of a cooking magazine with regular recipes. These recipes dont really fit my needs. They tend to require ingredients I dont normally use or have on hand. Also, I am not interested in reading about what celebrities cook or eat. I will not renew my subscription because this magazine just isnt for me. Apparently the entire world (except me) thinks all recipes should contain peppers and cilantro, both of which I dont like. I dont watch cooking shows so I dont care who these people are, how their homes are decorated, etc. Unfortunately the magazine is loaded with all the above. I have yet to try a recipe thats Im excited about after a year subscription, but then I havent tried a lot. Only cost $5 but I wont buy it again. I have been reading these since the first issue and I have every single one of them on both my kindle and in paper form. Why? They are good enough that I want to hold onto them for the long haul. My family and I have gone back through magazines even years down the line looking for recipes to use again. Especially the holiday issues. My Nissan Altima makes me remove a large section of manifold or wheel wells for almost every light bulb location. Then there are those holding panels and door lining in place. Many of these factory rivets used in cars have aged and have become brittle. Especially the ones outside the cabin. When you try to remove them, they often break. Plastic rivets are never well suited for cold or heat extreme conditions and yet vehicle manufacturers continue to use them in wheel wells and engine compartments. Thats why you need these, because your originals will break as weather and temps go up and down. Also if you have a screw and hole that no longer fit, just drill the hole out to fit one of these and pop one in.You can remove them by taking a straight blade screw driver (or rivet removing tool) and popping the little top peg out. You might have to ruin it getting it out of the hole but now thats OK because you have this kit to replace broken ones. There are 8 sizes of these and should work on most cars that use rivets. There are no really small ones in this kit. So if you have a tiny one, like used on some cars cabin parts, you may need to drill the hole a little bigger to use these.A real life saver for me as I have to remove wheel wells every time to replace front light bulbs. I almost always break one or two of these rivets. Thanks Nissan for thinking you could make us take our vehicles to your dealers just to replace bulbs by hiding them in hard to get to places! Got these to replace some broken/missing clips. Didnt really need a big ol box of these, but I figured: for $8…. I installed about a half dozen (7 to be precise). 3 broke during the install. Finally got all 7 secured (using 10 clips total). 2 broke with in 1 week. Went to check on them, pulled on the fairing, clip broke — oops. Tug on the other side — snap. Double oops. Thanks but no thanks. Better than OEM Toyota fastener o clips, I got my bumper removed and the original clips broke easily, I got this fasteners clips and they can handle a lot force, so far I use then wherever one was missing and I could fit one. Great price. At autopart places 4 pieces cost $4.99 and here at amazon I got 120 pieces for $8.99 and I already used 10 pieces. Theres plenty of fasteners in this kit to attach the splash guard under my 03 Odyssey. I found them to be easy to install and the variety of sizes made the work worry free. But several times I accidentally depressed one before installing, and then tried to open it back up… broke, every time. As I mentioned, theres plenty here to tackle what I was doing, but these are not the quality of what you will be pulling off your vehicle. If youre using these, plan to replace them every time you remove them. What has become the norm, product manufacturers include items that should otherwise be scrapped plus they use inferior plastics that cause them to be damaged very easily when installing. I should return them but I dont think its worth my time Ill just not buy this product again.I will not buy this product again. Pros: good selection, the ad listing has good specific details (including dimensions).Cons: the item count wasnt accurate; I received more of some, and less of others. All told, I did receive a total of 102 pieces (correct).Recommendation: I re-sorted the box to make future use easier. Because a lot of these look quite similar, in both style and diameter, I first re-sorted everything. Then I placed similar items at opposite sides of the box. You should end up with a short item adjacent next to a long item, and similarly a large diameter next to a small diameter. This should make future selection easier. This technique works better with many similar items, e.g. a box of screws, all the same diameter, just different lengths; so youd put the shortest screw next to the longest, then flip flop back and fourth.Pictures: The attached pics show the final sorted configuration. One of the larger ones that has over 20 pieces will not fit into a single compartment, so I put the extras in a plastic ziplock bag, then placed them under the item that had only 10 items (or you could store them outside the box). And of course as you use them up, this becomes less of a problem. I have not tried the fasteners as yet, however, the case was busted upon arrival. The fasteners were loose and all mixed up, so now I need to find a new case to store and separate the fasteners. I hate when I buy something new and its broken or missing pieces, if I bought it at a yard sale, I would understand! These clips look better than the OEM ones on one of my cars but for the 06 Toyota Avalon, I could not get any of them to fit right. I was just trying to replace some missing ones from the engine compartment cover (the one that covers the headlights and radiator). Even the smallest one that looked almost exactly like the OEM wouldnt fit through the hole and if you forced it, then you could not get the pin to go down. Ohh well… hopefully it will fit on my other cars or other parts of the car if needed. But I have to give it 4 stars because it looks exactly like the pictures and appear to be strong.

I have never written a review as I usually have better things to do. However, I had to here. I got my iPhone X on launch day. I begrudgingly put this product on my phone. I got out of my car today and the phone fell face down on uneven gravel. The screen protector completely shattered. I peeled it off and there was not a scratch on the $1150 phone. There was also no residual adhesive on the screen. The pack came with 3 which I originally thought was unnecessary. I will now enthusiastically place number two on when I get home from work. Not bad for about 3 bucks a pop. Phenomenal!! Today I closed my cars trunk door down on my iPhone X. I looked at what appeared to be a massively destroyed screen, with 2 large damaged areas on the right and several large cracks running across the screen; 1st image. But no!!!!! I took off the damaged iPhone X Screen Protector and lo and behold, almost no damage to the iPhone X; there are 2 insignificant scratches 2nd image!!!! Five stars??? You bet!!!! I put on the 2nd iPhone X Screen Protector (3 come in the package; cool!) and my beautiful iPhone X is back!!! Day 1 (Dec 2): Five Stars. The kit it comes with for cleaning prior to installation is nice. Ive installed other screen protectors but Ive never had one go on more smoothly than this where I feel like its perfectly straight. I also really appreciate a QR code to an installation video. I wish more companies did that, even though I didnt watch it. I felt like there were extra guide stickers that werent necessary and the step of using a sticker on the screen to pick up debris after youve already wiped with a wet and dry cloth seemed unnecessary, or should have been first to get large debris prior to wet-wiping it. The thing that I had wished was in the kit was a tiny squeegee rather than using my fingers to push out any air. Nevertheless, everything went perfectly. Based on some other reviews, things fall apart after some use, so Ill just update this if anything changes. Attached is a pic of the phone with a case and the screen protector. I have been a Tech Armor (TA) person for screen protector ever since I started using iPhone (6 years ago). However, their recent protectors for iPhone X did not have good reviews, hence went for this one. I am SO GLAD I DID. The screen protector is EXCELLENT and by no means is less than TA.The Good: Its sturdy, well made, and crystal clear. The alignment is a breeze: Just use the attached aligner tool (white rectangle), position your protector, and then just give it one tap in the center. It beautifully sticks to the surface, with no bubbles! Touch and 3D touch have no hindrance. As said before, the protector seems very solid, and gives me confidence that it will protect my screen well. I also have additional protectors when this one wears out. Best value for money! The Bad: Cant think of any at least yet. For the price this is excellent deal and quality. The applicator does a really good job of aligning it perfectly so that you dont have to. Anyone complaining is just being too picky. Great screen protector, I feel like they may have trimmed a little so much off of this glass more then likely due to people complaining it wont fit with there cool expensive case on it. I have an UaG case and there is a notable amount of iPhone screen left between the screen protector and the phone case. I used the guide that comes in the box and I feel as if it makes it a hair to low on the screen. As I type now I can see the edge of the glass protector on the screen and its driving me insane🙃!I guess I will say this another way so people have a clue what Im talking about.Because of the iPhone X bezel or what ever you call that black bar where your front facing camera and ear piece sit exsists, you can noticeably see where the glass protector ends due to the light refraction. Im assuming the other glass protectors will do the same.Endstate, it cover my glass and has perfect touch ability so I am pleased. By far, this was the easiest screen protector to install. No need to worry about lining up the sides and making sure that its straight and covers the viewing screen properly. Included in the box is everything you need to put the screen protector correctly the first time. Maxboost provides the stickers to remove any dust or debris on the phone which was nice. They also include a template guide that allows you to drop the screen protector inside the guide allowing for a perfect installation.Ive used Maxboost before on older iPhones and have always been pleased. They really stepped up their game with the installation on the new iPhone X. The Short and Simple- Easy to install- Clear that I forget I have a screen protector on- Screen is still very responsive with the screen protector on- Does leave some oil/smudge marks, which is easy to get rid ofThe Long Detailed Version:With a new phone means a new screen protector. This isnt any different from the other. Its easy to install although there was a small bubble (that was probably my fault actually). The cut is great and perfect for the phone. I like that I forget theres a screen protector on my phone because its clear on the phone. The screen protector doesnt impact the sensitivity of the touchscreen and its just as responsive as when I didnt have it.The reason I knocked it down a star is because of the smudge marks. When I use it a lot, a lot of the smudge marks seem to pick up. Its not a big issue. I can easily wipe it off but its something I do quite often. But its not a deal killer for me.I cant comment on whether it protects against falls since I havent dropped my phone yet but Id definitely hope it would. Ill update my review if it ever gets to that point (hopefully not).

This is one of the newer ones with advanced charging circuitry. Charges my iPhone very fast and does not heat the battery. This is critical for extending battery life since hot batteries die early. The only thing you should consider with this one is that its very small and doesnt give you a lot to grab when you want to remove it. However, since I want to keep it in my car thats a benefit and not a problem for me. Highly recommended. Metal, not plastic construction. Worked well for about one year of very light/infrequent use, then broke into pieces.EDIT: Changing review to 5-star. After I made my initial review I was promptly contacted by and AUKEY representative to learn more about what happened. I hadnt taken any photos, so I couldnt give them a great deal of additional information. They still let me know about about, and honored, the 24-month warranty. I didnt know that warranty existed and appreciated them working to make this right. I dont expect perfection from a USB charge at this price point and feel the customer service was very good. I have purchase 6 of these mini chargers over the past two years. We use them on every single vehicle in the household. On average, when paired with the Anchor 3ft USB to Lightning Cable:iPhone 6/6s - Charges at a rate of 1% per minuteiPhone 6s+ - Charges at a rate of 1% per 1.5 minutesiPhone 6s+ (Airplane Mode) - Charges at a rate of 1% per minute Works in both power sockets of 2013 Mazdaspeed3. Be aware that the product description claims that it is not compatible with Mazda, and other reviews are mixed on whether this charger works for Mazda. I suspect that socket/charger variations in components and tolerances will determine whether this charger works for a particular Mazda. Some reviews indicate that this charger may have been produced with two different lengths of the center contact. This charger is tiny and the Mazda socket is apparently deeper than most other makes. Underneath the head is a small gap and then a narrow ring. It appears that the narrow ring is the intended stop point for flush installation. Removing the narrow ring would allow for deeper installation, but make it even more difficult to remove. I did not need to remove the ring.PRO: Small size enables flush installation. Looks almost OEM and may allow closing of the socket cover (may require small trimming of edge of charger on side next to cover hinge). No blinding LEDs.CON: Difficult of remove if it is not intended to be left installed in the socket. LED soft glow in the ports would be nice to indicate power and make the ports more visible at night. The reason I chose this charger is to be able to close the socket cover while the charger is installed. I previously tried a SCOSCHE ReVolt USBC242M because of the questionable compatibility of the AUKEY. The SCOSCHE is a nice charger and slightly larger than the AUKEY. The SCOSCHE does allow the socket cover to close far enough to enable the door of the console pocket to close, but it protrudes too far to completely close the socket cover. The AUKEY with minor modification allows the socket cover to completely close and provides more of a built-in OEM look. To get the socket cover to completely close required that a portion of the edge of the the AUKEY face be removed to provide clearance for the hinged side of the socket cover in the closed position. I just used a metal file to file a flat spot on the outer ring of the face. Another reviewer accomplished a similar modification using a utility knife and includes photos in the review. The SCOSCHE does have a nice blue LED glow to the ports that is not too bright and nicely matches the Mazda blue ambient LED lighting. At least for this Mazda application, a soft blue LED glow in the ports would be nice to indicate power and make the ports more visible at night. Ive had the Aukey Car Charger installed for about 24 hours but Im so impressed with it that I couldnt wait to write this review. So far it is working as I expected. Im using it in a 2016 Toyota Corolla S Plus and it is so low profile that it looks like it belongs in the car. I bought this (and a 10ft UGREEN Mini USB cable) to replace the 10ft mini USB car charger that came with the Vantrue N2 Pro as I accidentally shorted it out. The Aukey is a perfect replacement because of its dual USB ports.UGREEN Mini USB Cable USB 2.0 Type A to Mini B Cable Male Cord for GoPro Hero 3+, Hero HD, PS3 Controller, Cell Phones, MP3 Players, Dash Cam, Digital Camera, SatNav, GPS Receiver, PDAs etc 10ftThis is a cost effective solution and I hope it lasts. If it doesnt Ill update this review, but for now its working pretty well. Very happy with this item. These are great if you plan to insert them and leave them in place. If you need to remove it, it can be a little harder to remove than some models because this one sits so flush into the socket. But its not ridiculously hard to remove. I just plug them into all my cars and leave them there. You might think that free cigarette lighter USB charger you got at the tradeshow is fine, or the one you got at the gas station is OK. But these are so much better. This little gizmo is cranking out 2.4 amps per USB socket, so it will charge 2 phones in a fraction of the time some other models do. My son use to use a 6 foot USB cord with one of my free chargers, and his phone would barely charge if he was also using it. These solve that problem handily. Note that in two of my 3 vehicles, I cannot close the little lid over these when they are not in use, but that is minor to me. I have had this charger for a long time. I love that it is hardly visible in the car. It makes for a more aesthetically pleasing, less cluttered looking car. It charges my phone surpisingly quick, wayyy faster than the USB port built in the center console of my car. Pair this with an anker cable, and you have the ideal charging setup my friend. 2 charging ports, so you and your passanger are all set. Used this bad boy on a 24 hour road trip recently, and it was a lifesaver. Even charged up my ipad and macbook (with usbc adapter.) No bright distracting lights, and it looks like it belongs in the car. Not gonna lie, it is a bit difficult to remove, but if its staying in the car thats no big deal. I dont think Ive removed it once or even had the desire to since I got it. And for what, $10? Cant get any better!
