Worked really well for a year and a half, and then recently, while plugged in overnight, the connection between the cable and battery melted. Major inconvenience while traveling overseas.Update: Anker speedily resolved the issue for me by replacing the battery, and followed up to make sure the replacement arrived and was working. They also seem to take great care in trying to discover what caused the issue in the first place, with photos and diagnostic questions, and had an engineer involved in the issue. It appears my issue was a fluke. I remain a big fan of Anker, and use many of their other products. This thing is so damn reliable. I bought it in preparation for an 8 day Hawaii vacation where Id be out and about the entire day doing tours and activities. It was there when I needed it, especially when I used my phone to take lots and lots of pictures so that drained my battery very quickly. I could even charge my fiances phone too!!! Whenever I remembered that this thing had TWO connections I gave myself a pat on the back and made a mental note to write a five-star review for this when I got back from Hawaii. Now this is an essential item in my purse as well and I dont go anywhere without it. Anker is so amazing and they have gained a loyal customer. Customer support, service & satisfaction is what I shall review.I received this unit and immediately hated it. Bulky. Heavy. Cumbersome. I conveyed my concerns to Anker. My first inclination was to assume this Company would be sub par in its customer satisfaction and contact. WRONG! Anker reps were surprisingly accomodating when I told them I hated this product. They sent me a replacement upgraded model of this battery pack. It is compact and so powerful. I took it on a 2 week vacation BEFORE I gave this review. The newer model is stellar and performs above my expectations. It is slim, compact, has an exceptional quick charging time and an excellent storage pouch. Its just a great Company that produces a great product. If it sucks, they will have your back. I hope this will help anyone to make an informed decision from Anker. They really check in on your experience with their products and I appreciate excellence in Customer satisfaction and service. They expect you to comment and welcome ALL feedback on their products. Talk to Anker. They actually listen and positively respond. Anker is readily available and I have no affiliation nor am I compensated from Anker. Says the battery could charge a Samsung Galaxy and I got warning message that said my battery was damaged due to a third party charging device. Thanks! 😑🙃 I, also, forgot to add that because of the battery damage my phone can only charge to 75%. Thanks, again! 😑🙃 This is my second Anker PowerCore. I love having the security of all my mobile electronics being easily recharged regardless of where I am. My Galaxy phone has a limited battery life when I am actively on it and I have found myself out and about with no charging capabilities for the last time. I bought a second so that I would always have one in my purse. I keep one of the PowerCores charging overnight so I dont ever have to be without. This new one is slightly larger and heavier so it is better for long travel. Can easily watch movies on my Kindle when traveling on a plane or waiting in an aurport…not always trying to jockey for positions in airports with recharging stations, and dont worry that some evil person has installed something on public charging stations to rip off my info. Hotels that dont have a plug by the bed? Not a problem any more. Safety in having my phone right by me at night when on the road is important to me. This was a great buy for increased peace of mind. Worked just long enough to get passed the return date. Wont charge longer than a minute and shuts off. Disappointed since this got so many positive reviews. This WAS a great charger for a couple months. I bought it primarily for a trip to Disney and it was amazing! But now, only 4 months later it wont charge at all. Not sure if other have experienced the same thing? I bought it because the reviews are stellar- super bummed. This is a very good power bank and an excellent value. Charging it is accomplished by a micro USB input on the top of the unit. There are 4 blue LED indicator lights on the unit that show the level of charge and they turn off when a full charge is reached. The reserve capacity is incredible for the physical size of the unit and should run any current smart phone for a couple days off almost non stop high draw use. A lot of us use our phones as camera and camcorder replacements when on the go and this unit provided ample power to take as much video and shoot as many pictures as a person could manage in a day. Highly recommended and very happy with purchase.

I bought this phone because of its call blocking feature. When a blocked call comes in, you can either set it to not ring at all or set it to only ring once. Blocking telemarketers is a never ending battle because they keep changing to newer numbers. But it has been so much more peaceful around the house since I got this phone. I bought this to replace my old set of cordless phones. With my old phones, there was a switch on the side of the phone to raise or lower or turn off the ringer. NOW with THIS phone, I have to go through a MENU to turn the ringer on and off. ARE YOU KIDDING?I TURN MY RINGER OFF ON ALL MY PHONES WHEN I GO TO BED EACH NIGHT AND BACK ON IN THE MORNING!Here are the steps to turn the ringer on or off (or adjusting volume of the ringer) using the handset,I HAVE TO DO THIS TO BOTH CORDLESS HANDSETS AND THE BASE EVERY NIGHT1- Press the menu button2- Scroll up three to SETTINGS:3-Press SELECT4-Go to RING ADJUSTMENTS5- Press SELECT6 Go to RINGER VOLUME7- Press SELECT8- Scroll up or down to select the ringer volume or all the way down to OFF9- Press SAVETHEN, EVERY MORNING, I HAVE TO DO THIS WITH THE BASE AND THE OTHER TWO HANDSETS EACH AND EVERY MORNING,This is CRAZY.I called Panasonic. They recommended that I buy Panasonic KX-TGE474S I bought it here on Amazon https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B01I4JHNV2/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1I DID. and GUESS WHAT? IT HAS THE RINGER SWITCH ON THE SIDE OF EACH HANDSET ! ! !The features are exactly the same as far as I can tell but it comes with an extra cordless handset. BUT IT HAS THE EASY TO USE RINGER SWITCH ON THE SIDE OF THE PHONESo, I gave THIS pathetic phone to a neighbor and am very happy with the OTHER phone where I can turn the ringer on and off with the flip of a switch. I cant believe Panasonic left that feature off THIS phone. We are very happy with the Panasonic KX-TGF353N DECT 3-Handset home phone system. Much better audio quality than our previous cordless phones. Complete phone book integration between the corded base and the cordless handsets is great, plus if you need it, each cordless handset can have their own separate speed dials for different members of the family. Programming is no worse than anything else you program these days - just read the instructions and follow the menus. Sometimes the cordless menus are slightly different from the corded base and one menu set might be easier to navigate than the other. If you just want to use the phones without programming anything, they will work fine. The quality of the answering machine is good and we have received no complaints so far from our regular callers. This phone system has some useful programmable options and a reasonable manual to guide you through the process. The color of the phones is a welcome departure from black which most other models seem to be. The cordless handsets seem durable but I would not want to see how well they survive a drop on concrete. The screens are easy to read - date and time are set by the phone company and are accurate. Speaker-phone option is duplex and works very nice. Belt clips on the cordless handsets are optional in case you dont need them but I think they give just a bit more to hold onto while you talk. As always, there will be issues that reviewers mention and I thought it was odd that Panasonic provided the rechargeable batteries for the cordless handsets but did not provide the same rechargeable batteries for the power outage backup system on the corded phone. Nonetheless, that being a minor inconvenience to have to provide for yourself, this is a great phone system and I highly recommend it to you. I absolutely love this phone! After reading reviews all over the internet, I decided to go with this one because all the reviews were positive. I had a problem with names not showing up when someone called me with my old phone. One of the first things I did was to put the names/numbers in the phone book list that I talk to on a regular basis. The next time the phone rang, not only did the name & numbers show up on the screen, but the speaker actually announced the name of the caller as well. This process helps me to immediately rule out the calls I want to block because its easier to differentiate between the two, by allowing the telemarketing calls to go to the phones voice mail and listening, than just push the call block button. The cordless handsets screen/keys illuminates even while talking on the phone with others, your able to see the name/flash button & determine if you want to take the call. It also has hands free speaker and conversations are crystal clear even on speakerphone. These are just a few of my highlights concerning this phone, however, there are many more. I highly recommend this phone to anyone who is in the market for a new landline phone. Great Job Panasonic! We got this phone set for my elderly mother who suffers with memory issues. She was having problems answering the phones she had, because she never could figure out which button to push. We were hoping the corded phone would take care of that problem. It did! What we didnt expect was an extra bonus. If mom is in a room away from the corded phone and our call goes to the answering machine, our voices come over ALL handsets and we can remind her to go to the corded phone or direct her to the correct button to push on the cordless phones. The phone also lets you preprogram three numbers. We programed in our numbers and put our names next to each button, so she only needs to pick up the receiver and push the button next to our name to reach us. No more searching for numbers she cant remember, etc. I cant say enough about the features this phone set has to offer to people in our circumstances.

Magazine is not as good as it used to be. Also RD auto renewed my subscription early without notice. Still working to cancel it. It is not the old Readers Digest. It seems politically flavored & preachy, and reads like one writer does all the writing. Im sorry to say the Quotes sections is horrible. The true stories are good and the humor at work, life and military are still funny. I love it accept, it deleats my magazines. I sometimes do noit get to read an issue because Im too busy. I paid for it why then does the app delete my past issues, even if unread? Shame! Will have to cancel. I have always enjoyed Readers Digest. But I never subscribed because I have a bad habit of hoarding magazines that I like, then eventually have to give them away or throw them away, so for years I only read R.D. in the Doctors or Dentists office (my parents subscribed when I was growing up). Now that I can get it electronically, and at such a great price, I took advantage of that. It took a little bit of experimenting to familiarize with the navigation, because it doesnt work the same way as with books; but its pretty simple once you get used to it. HOWEVER, I just got my 2nd month issue. I had not finished reading my first issue, and although I was able to locate the 1st issue in my newsstand library, when I clicked on it, it tells me waiting to download but never does, so I cant get back to previous issue to finish reading or to re-read previously enjoyed articles. I see this as a serious flaw in the subscription process. If this Isnt corrected, I may not renew my subscription when the time comes. LOVE the digest. Am super bummed to learn that I cant get it on my Kindle fire. Most puzzling. Cant imagine what prevents it. up to 1/3 of this magazine is pure ads. there is very little actual article content. compare to decades older RD mgazines and you will understand what i mean. cancelled subscription. i am not paying for more ads HEY!!!!! Where have all my issues gone? This is B.S. I paid for them they should be in the cloud. Why wasnt I notified about this mass dumping of magazines? How about a refund for past unread issues. I subscribed to RD so I could read at my leisure now they are gone. You owe everyone an explanation. The deal wasnt clear when I was ordering and thought I was getting a year for $5, instead I received 1 issue for $3.99. He careful what you buy. The magazine itself is good.

Notes from the Community

I bought the very first Martha Stewart Living back in the 1990s and thought it was amazing. Looked forward to it each month for years before I moved on. This last December, I decided to try another subscription. What a massive disappointment. The magazine is thin. Good Things is gone. No crafts, diy, or decorating. Almost nothing about home (unless you count cleaning, whoop-di-doo). Mostly its ads or ads masquerading as articles (as in buy this product, buy that product, blah-blah-blah). I suppose if youre into cooking and beauty advise, you can get enough out of it to make it worthwhile. Im halfway through the year and wont be renewing. Just got my first mag of Martha Stewart Living…Way more ads than readable content. I wouldnt want to watch a show thats 90% commercials and really dont want to read a magazine thats 90% ads! I USED to love this mag. What happened? Its littered with ads, and skimpy on good content. The articles used to be longer and excellently written, with arrestingly lush photography. The old magazines were keepers. So sorry to see this mag going the way of most other readables in the world…catering to the video generation who seem to have the reading attention span of circus fleas. The issues years ago were bigger and better. These are thin and not as good as before, I wont be renewing my subscription. The magazine is a far cry from the quality it should be. Many of the advertisements they allow are unattractive and unpleasant. The content is only marginal in interest, beauty and quality. Its flimsy and thin whereas in the past it was a much more content rich product. When you sign up for a subscription be aware they automatically renew you and you need to unclick this button on your manage subscriptions page. I did not want to renew mine and am currently doing battle with the Hearst staff to argue the point that when I did manage to cancel my unwanted renewed subscription, they (someone) deleted my accounts and now I cannot prove that they owed me some replacement issues that arrived damaged or actually missing. Yes we know the magazine and nobody would ever order it if it was terrible ( though comparing the lest two years editions versus the ones published years before the reduction in topics, articles and number of pages is significant).I would like to advice you ordering from Meredith: dont!!!!In the age of Internet, and extreme leve and amount of electronic data processing - 3 MONTHS of processing is ridiculous and unacceptable!!!They process payment in seconds!Lots to work on Meredith! Its cheap so no complaints about that, a few good ideas and the recipes looked interesting. Everything in the mag can be found on the website. As other reviewers have noted, it has a ton of ads etc. The quality of the images and paper have declined but I assume this is due to the fact that magazines are less popular than they were years ago. Mine arrived ripped as it was quite delicate. It was quite thin too, I remember this mag once being pretty fat, especially for a holiday issue…was hoping for more gardening and decorating images and ideas. I used to subscribe to Living years ago, but stopped due to lack of free time. I picked it up again, but cant say Im impressed. The recipes require non-standard ingredients or dont appeal to me and the craft projects were uninspired. I do better with Pinterest feeds. In fact, the only recipe I kept from the magazine was from an advertisement.

Notes from the Community

I use to love this magazine but Im not sure whats going on with it recently. There are so many ads (like usual for a magazine) but really I feel like they have increased the number of ads and decreased the number of interesting articles. Once in a while I like a article but the print or pictures are so small (in my 30s so no Im not old with failing eyesight) and I feel like they cut the article short and put tons of ads in its place. I also am not personally that interested in the pages and pages of recipes. I want to see the homes, I want to get ideas, I want to see if I can achieve that…but I dont feel like that anymore. Also I am really, really disappointed lately with the with the I did it section (use to be the last page of mag but now put it in the middle). There use to be really cool diy stuff now its I put a desk out and some holders from ikea wow look what i did…not impressive anymore. There are cooler things you can find on Pinterest. Sorry not resubscribing. I realize they are trying to make money and offer a decent price for customers, but the latest issue has about 109 total pages of advertisements. Most of the other articles are just large photos and a few talking points about the headline for the page. The only good part is that the main front cover topic (Autumn related ideas) had no advertisements through 24 pages. The bad part, it was near the back of the magazine. Having read BHG magazines and books in the past, I was elated to get this subscription at such a low price. There has to be a catch! I thought… There is. This subscription has little to no content in the magazine. Instead, you are paying $5 for little more than a barage of advertising. Im not exaggerating when I say this actually felt like it was 90% ads. I feel so duped and disappointed. This has nothing to do with the BHG magazines Ive purchased in the past. Out of 157page magazine, there were 83 FULL PAGE ads! And on the remaining 74 pages there were 9, 3rd page ads. Why does this even cost money, I can get a thrifty nickel ( full of ads) for free! Ive always enjoyed having an easy read magazine around the house. I can flip through it while watching TV, etc.I have subscribed to several Amazon magazine deals, and have had no problem turning off the auto subscribe choice. Well see if I have the same luck here. The only reason this didnt get 5 stars was because this mag has a lot of info for parents & about kids. Im retired, so it doesnt apply to me. Magazine is sent frequently. Introduction subscription price is a great value. Magazine though containing interesting articles is very downsized and contains way fewer articles and columns than in previous years; it was shocking that the hard copy would be reduced to this limited level. Such a respected magazine happy it is still in print. Got my magazine and great buy for the price, but then I started getting two other magazines that I did not pay for. The only way I could have gotten them is through Amazon. Needless to say when my subscription is up on BF&G I wont be renewing. And the magazines are not ones I would ever subscribe too none the less! I read a copy of this magazine while in a waiting room. I remember when the magazine was a little stuffy quite awhile ago, and I was surprised to see how fresh, inspiring and charming it had become. The current editor is fabulous. It is everything I want in this type of magazine, and I keep meaning to email the editor about how fab I think the magazine is. For me, there is a place between cheesey and overly grand in interior design where I want to live, and this magazine captures it beautifully. I am so enjoying my subscription.

Kleenex Professional Facial Tissue for Business (03076), Flat Tissue Boxes, 12 Boxes / Convenience Case, 125 Tissues / Box

See Price

Description

Delivers premium quality, preferred for superior softness, strength and absorbency. This product is made from wood that came from a certified managed forest. Tissue Type: Facial; Number of Plies: 2; Number of Sheets: 125 per box; Length: 8.20.

Notes from the Community

You know, design-wise, a box of Kleenex isnt the Space Shuttle. All it really has to do is let the top tissue stay handy (not fall back into the box), and then pop up the one behind it. And the reason I buy Kleenex brand is because theve done that with a decent quality 2 ply tissue my whole life of over 50 years. If I wanted to reach into the box, Id buy Scotties or something else. But of late Kleenex seem hell bent on screwing it up (no doubt trying to cut costs). I switched to these short 125-tissue boxes precisely BECAUSE in the larger boxes, once youd used a certain amount, the top tissue would ALWAYS fall back into the box, and becomes tough to get out again. And this happened over and over. That doesnt happen as much on the short boxes, and if it does, you can reach the next tissue without going into the box up to your wrist. But is seems that ever since theyve switched from the gray boxes to these blue/orange floral boxes, the quality has dropped again. In these boxes, of late, you can no longer pull ONE tissue out with the next one being stuck to it and coming out along with it. Worse, Id say 1 in every 4 boxes has great big deposits/clumps of Kleenex dust that eventually comes out of the box with a tissue and makes a powdery mess.Again. THIS ISNT ROCKET SCIENCE. Kleenex KNOWS how to make tissue boxes without these problems. But the product in these boxes are getting cheaper and crappier. Please KLEENEX — restore some quality and provide boxes that work without problems, and without clumps of dust in them. Ill gladly pay a little more money for less aggravation. These floral boxes arent good! Ive been buying this size box of Kleenex for our office for years. They used to come in the multi-gray colored leaf pattern box and those were GREAT! For some reason this new orange and blue floral box isnt the same standard of box. The liner that makes the pop-up design work appears defective, as it doesnt stay in place so you get a handful of tissues instead of just the one you want. Its very annoying to have to pick up the box and be very careful to pull just one out while holding down the liner that surrounds the tissues. We just received the second case of these and they are as bad as the first. I was hoping the first case was a defective batch, but the second case is the same. I wont be buying these again. PLEASE BRING BACK THE PREVIOUS BOXES OR FIX THESE SO THE POP-UP FUNCTION WORKS AND THE LINER STAYS IN PLACE, ALLOWING FOR ONE TISSUE AT A TIME! I need boxes this size for the multiple vintage tissue boxes I have around the house. I used the 85 count Kleenex tissue box for many years (the geo print box in the photos) but Walmart has discontinued it recently, so I had to find an alternative. There are no listings of ANY kind that have the dimensions of this box, so you can see my pictures attached. The 85 old count is slightly taller, despite the lower tissue count. This is a true vintage size box. Now the downsides - (1) tissues at first come out in a huge clump; I had to remove 7 to get it to have a decent start. (2) The perforation on top goes ALL the way across the plastic. No regular consumer sku of Kleenex does this, so I have no idea why this is a feature in this professional (aka doctors office) version. It bothered me enough that I put tape on both sides, but that isnt working perfectly. (3) The branding across the top of the clear plastic is RIDICULOUS. You can see it clearly across the room on every box. Again, this isnt a consumer sku, but this is so heavy-handed in my opinion. With a few easy tweaks this box would be perfect but other than giving away my prized tissue boxes from the 50s and 60s that predate the super-sizing of America with 3000 count tissue boxes, I suppose this is my option. The price is reasonable too. Thanks for carrying, Amazon! This is the type of tissue box you find in hotel rooms. As far as tissue paper goes, these are okay. They work for what they are intended for. They are the most soft, thick, and durable but they are the best bang for your buck. I love bulk ordering them so I dont have to worry about restocking when I run out. 12 boxes for under $17 is a no-brainer for me!Like I mentioned, these arent heavy-duty or particularly strong. If youre having a really bad cold and blowing your nose violently, these will break on you. When thats the case, I use a couple sheets to prevent that from happening. For the price, you can accord to double or triple up on sheets.I also love the signal sheets that warn me when I am running low and reaching the end of the box. At first, I was weirded out by the cream color sheets, but now that I know what they are for, I love knowing when I need to replace the box.Note: The design isnt the same as the one in the thumbnail with orange/blue flowers. Its a grey floral design which, honestly, I prefer. The advertisement for this product says it comes with a case. By a case they mean the cardboard box that most multi boxes of tissues come in. They think a cardboard box is a case! Deceptive advertising! Also each of the 12 boxes of tissues have been compacted down in size, as is the new trend in selling multi boxes of tissues on Amazon. This is not a good thing! This is a bad thing. The itty bitty teeny weeny flat boxes, make the tissues very very difficult to pull out of each separate box and use. There fore the new package-ing design is not user friendly to users. I used to be a regular buyer of multi-boxes of tissues on Amazon, but never again! I will now have to go back to Costco for my tissues, where I can actually feel and touch the product before purchasing!

Got Echo Show as gift from my son last Christmas. At first we had it in our bedroom but after realizing that Alexa is watching and listening to us all the time we decided to place our Echo Show in our living room. I have also installed smart switches and plugs to control lights in various parts of the house and also paired the Echo with different bluetooth speakers. The problem is I have to go near the Echo to give Alexa the command. If I want to listen to music in our bedroom I have to go out of our room and be near Alexa to ask her to play music and switch to bluetooth speaker In our bedroom. Now with Alexa Voice Remote I can give command while Im on bed. To make sure Alexa is listening first command is to ask her to connect to bluetooth speaker on my bedside table or to my TV soundbar (need to call out specific speaker name that was registered in Echo during tha pairing process). From then on I can talk to Alexa as if Echo is my side and I dont have to worry that Alexa is listening coz you need to press talk button for Alexa to hear you (lol). By the way, the instruction that comes with the Alexa Voice does not include pairing with Echo Show and so for a moment Ithought it was made to Echo and Echo Dot only and will not work on Echo Show but It did not take long for me to find the instruction from Amazon Device Support. Im truly happy with this purchase. this thing is a useless lump… IF YOU WANT MULTIROOM AUDIO CONTROL. hear me out. you pair it with one Echo (as the website says). no problem. you start multiroom audio (either from the voice remote, by shouting at alexa or from another room whatever). as SOON as you start multiroom audio the echo this remote is paired with… DISCONNECTS the remote. you cant even change volume, let alone stop or change audio. NO WHERE does it say this on this ad, or in amazon help. amazon support says this is considered controlling multiple devices and isnt supported. throwing it in a drawer since i didnt keep the box. This will be my 4th… YES FOURTH remote I had to re-purchase after the other ones stopped working(all in 2017!!!). If you check all the negative reviews I have had all of the same problems. 1-The voice remote button stopped working 2-the mic button works, but alexa never answers 3-the entire remote stopped working (when I inserted new batteries the remote started to get warm…I thought it was going to start a fire). The only reason why I keep getting new remotes is because the brick and mortar amazon store is around the corner from my job and keeps allowing me to exchange/return at no cost. The voice remote is a device that has become part of my every day and I find I cannot be without it. From working out in a different room from my echo dot to streaming music in an outhouse and outdoors its VERY convenient and useful. Amazon…please if you are reading this FIX THE PROBLEMS ONCE AND FOR ALL. I am not rough with these remotes. I do not perspire on these remotes…I have not dropped the remotes…they are not durable. Please address these issues at your next meeting!!! This hasnt worked for me. I have several Amazon dots and Echo devises, and am generally very impressed with their design and operation. However, while the dot I have installed with an outdoor audio system works seamlessly when I speak to it directly, when I use the Alexa voice remote it doesnt recognize 90% of my music requests from my extensive Amazon Prime library. It will recognize generic requests such as play Beethoven, Jazz, etc.), but if I request a specific artist, song, or album from one of the 3,000+ albums in my Prime Music library it invariably fails, and pulls up something completely unrelated to my request, or tries to direct me to Pandora. I dont write many reviews unless the product in question is extremely bad or extraordinarily good. In this case I am happy to say this was the later. If you enjoy playing with you echo dot, But find yourself screaming to get alexa to stop, you will love this remote. If you hooked your echo dot to a big home stereo and use it like a voice activated jukebox (only way better!!!) you will love this remote. The range is awesome it goes through all the walls in my house. I can turn off the lights in my bedroom by voice even though the echo dot is in the front room. You just have to remember that when you use the remote you do not have to say the trigger Alexa just push the button with the microphone icon on it hold it down for a second so that it has time to trigger the dot, and say Play Led Zepplin stairway to heaven or whatever you desire to do. Or whatever wifi things you have configured for your echo. I have tplink lights in several rooms so I can just say my bedroom off or my bedroom on etc. Plus the remote has a pause fast forward play and rewind on it so if you are playing your song library you can just hit pause or go to the next song with it or hit the mic button and say next. I think the negative reviews I have read in the past were because people did not understand how it works

Notes from the Community

I still feel like this was a great deal for back to school time. However I was a little surprised to see how small these are. They are smaller than the standard size sticks most of us are used to seeing in the store. This might be a good thing If children that will be using them are prone to leaving the caps off. They wont be around long enough to dry out.I would still recommend despite the size. Im a huge fan of Elmers School Glue. IN THE BOTTLE. I purchased these thinking they would be easy to use and just as awesome and reliable as the glue in the bottle. WRONG. While they are tiny and easy to use, especially for little hands, the DOWNSIDE and PROBLEM is that the glue seems to disintegrate very quickly. So whatever projects we have worked on look great the first couple of days. Then little by little, the items start lifting and ultimately falling off whatever theyve been glued to. So much for our awesome art projects and Teacher Appreciation Posters (HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT). I LOVE that you dont see any drops of glue like you do with the liquid, but I MUCH PREFER the liquid if the GLUE STICKS DONT REALLY WORK. Elmers: do more research and make these things better. Youve worked too hard for your reputation to make a less-than-steller product like this. These glue sticks were bought for VBS and didnt work as expected. I use the glue sticks to glue things to paper bags and the stuff kept falling off. I expect better from Elmers. I taught school for 37 years and always bought Elmers stuff but I guess they have gone the way of many companies now. Cheaper stuff for more money. Very disappointed. Especially since the kids bags decorations was all over the church. As a former teacher, I love school supplies and even more so I love a good deal on school supplies. Every year I purchased supplies with my own money for my classes so I was always on a look out for good deals. These glue sticks are great. Elmers is a quality brand that is highly trusted. I like these ones, especially with younger students because they go on purple and the student can see where they already have glue. Dont worry, it dries clear. Now, with kids of my own I like to grab extras if I can to have on hand when my kids need them for school, projects at home, or when the teacher mentions a need. Excellent deal when I purchased. As a newbie to 3d printing, I had heard people were using this purple glue on their print beds to help the filament stick down, so I decided to give it a try. It works super well, and I love that I can tell by the color if it is dry. Im using a glass print surface on an Anet A8 3d printer - before printing I just rub a bunch of this around the build plate, wait until the purple turns clear, and Im ready to start printing.Cleanup is super easy in the kitchen sink - as soon as the glue gets a splash of water it turns purple again, making it super easy to tell when its clean. This 30 pack was a great value. There are only 2 reasons I didnt give it 5 stars: (1) when applying it, you have to be careful not to leave any gaps. This isnt too hard but it does take extra effort. And (2) today I tried using Aqua-net hairspray instead - it was way easier to apply and cover the entire surface. The drying time on the purple glue is better than the Aqua-net though. If the simple paper cutouts cant stay glued after a couple minutes then Im not sure what to call these…other than sticks. And quite useless ones at that.Very disappointed in Elmer…thought they were better than that.I have most of a box leftover that I cant trust. I tried a few sticks thinking got a bad one. Nope.Been using glue sticks with the kids for years and bought this pack because they tend to dry and I wanted to have unopened ones around.Instead I have unsticky ones. These were purchased for my son for school. What a deal! You get 30 glue sticks for $8.50. Now that is what I call a value buy. You cant even get that price at the local stores during the whole back to school sales. The cheapest you can get is $0.50 each (roughly). My son didnt need this many glue sticks but I couldnt complain about the price. He was able to take most of it to school to have plenty for backup, keep some for home use, and share some with his little cousin for their daycare activities. The son has stated the glue sticks are pretty adhesive. I find it hard to believe theres anybody out there who actually needs to read customer reviews to help them determine whether or not to purchase Elmers glue. Anyone who has children, knows someone who has children, attended kindergarten or knows of someone who went to kindergarten should be very well aware of the fact that Elmer makes the best glue products in the industry hands down. I defy anyone to name another company in the glue stick industry that puts out a product that Elmers glue doesnt put to shame. There is no competition. Elmers glue stick has dominated the industry for decades and will continue to do so for decades to come.
