What can I say - it made juicing fun! I have always used a centrifugal juicer and fought with the loud noise, involved cleaning and reduced type of things to juice. The Omega changed all this, and most importantly - it made juicing easy and tasty! (the latter is one of the most important aspects for me)Lets dissect it for a second. The Omega is a slow juicer. It will definitely take longer to do the same juice as with the centrifugal one. BUT, this is better! Less oxidation, but most importantly, the juice has much much better taste! We did a test: we juiced the same quantity in both and compared the result. We juiced same quantity of carrots, red cabbage and apples. The centrifugal juicer produced a juice that smelled very powerful of cabbage, with a watery feel to it. The Omega made a tad less juice (not by much) but the quality of the juice was amazing - more homogenized, better color (!), and the we could taste every ingredient perfectly, with the finished product showcasing a symbiotic relationship between all the ingredients, no harsh taste from the cabbage whatsoever. It was so good that my 7 and 5 year old kids drank it all, while they didnt like the one made with the centrifugal juicer. The feeding mouth is smaller on the Omega. We cannot just dump large quantities in the juicer anymore. But thats not so bad. The finished product is definitely worth it. I have no problem cutting carrots length-wise, or the red beet in pieces, or apples in slices. Guess what, with my kids helping, this is actually not bad - we do the cutting, while my kids feed them in the Omega. Thats fine. I like this juicer so much the I actually take the time to cut even smaller items that would probably work whole, just to reduce the load on the machine. But thats just me.The collecting bin is small. And the discharge system poorly designed. Yes it fits well under the machine, but if you are juicing larger quantities you have to unload the bin (the height of the machine does not lend itself to using taller pitchers under it) and while unloading the juice still drips even if the machine is off. So after unloading you have to wipe under the bin and be fast to replace it or there will be a mess under it. Some vertical juicers have a stopper, and it would have been nice to have one on this one as well. Well, it is what it is and we learned to deal with it…The cleaning process is much better with the Omega. The frickin centrifugal one would take a long time to clean. Not with this one. It comes apart easy, and each part can be cleaned fairly fast. I juice and drink the juice immediately, never store it, and I juice twice a day (morning and lunch) and I do not mind cleaning it. This aspect encouraged us to juice more often!Juicing soft fruits can be a problem with the Omega. Even tomatoes. The mush will just stay in the masticating chamber. Yest it can be a problem, but we learned to deal with it. Take for example a favorite juice of mine: tomato, red cabbage, red beet, celery root, carrot, garlic, and parsley and lovage stems. I need to start with the tomato, and then follow with something a little more dry as cabbage, and always finish with the carrot as it will push everything through. Now, the main advantage is that we can juice things that we couldnt with the centrifugal one. Leafy greens are the Omegas best friend. But what I really like is that now I dont throw away anything - we keep all stems from parsley, dill, beets, etc. and juice them along with other veggies. The flavor from these stems is amazing. Add them a bit a lime or lemon and ginger in your green juice and it will be amazing! Why four stars then? Well, we got the first one, and when running dry the whole masticating chamber would wobble like crazy, and the motor made an accompanying rhythmic noise. We thought is is defective, so got a replacement. The replacement did the same. So I can only infer that the auger shaft is not perfectly straight. And all those plastic parts! Even if this thing is warrantied for a decade, it will most certainly need replacement for some if not all the plastic parts. (remember the printer-cartridge combo anyone?) I would pay double to have this made with stainless steel parts!I guess time will tell if this juicer will last. For now, it brought back the fun in juicing, and the final product is so drinkable, so delicious!UPDATE:Almost 4 months later and we still love this juicer. It has changed our morning habits completely! We use it so often we never store this away, and it became a staple on our counter. The morning juice became a ritual for the entire family. After waking up I start preparing the juice - we do not use fruits almost at all (except pomegranate occasionally - they are superb). Even though it is not needed, I dice everything I put in it as it doesnt take more than an extra minute or so. As such, the juicer becomes 100% self feeding and it make it easier for the juicer too. My kids are now so used to the morning juice on an empty stomach (micro-nutrient shoot to the vein) that if we are late one morning they ask for it - Daddy, I am getting hungry soon so can I have my juice now? Remember, theres no fruit! Creatures of habit these kids! The nice part is that we have no waste anymore - we juice EVERYTHING! We cook cauliflower the day before, well, now we have the leaves and stems from them; we prepared a red beet salad, now we have all the stems to juice (we make soup from the leaves); etc. etc. And you get to do a vegetable stock from all the shredded veggies! It comes great even though they were juiced! But the best part is how good we feel! My kids havent had a cold since we started juicing (Coincidence? Maybe, but the school started during this period and usually they would bring something home. Not this time. Again, it might be a coincidence.)But wait, theres more! We are trying to be a Paleo family (I am 100%, the rest of the family about 75% or so). I started my Paleo lifestyle 3 months before we got this juicer (so 6 months ago). When I got the juicer I decided to replace 2 meals a day with juice. So I have a pretty large juice in the morning (again, only veggies, and mostly avoiding root vegetables) and one at lunch (I work very close to home and I can go and make a fresh juice during lunch). Since I started Paleo I lost 45 pounds, 35 since i bought this juicer! I have so much freaking energy too!I never believed we would get so enthused about this juicer. Granted, this is not the best juicer out there, but it makes great tasting juice. But I would till keep this one at 4 stars. SO MUCH PLASTIC! Again, I would pay double to have all stainless steel! We dumped the plastic-fantastic containers (a pain to truly clean) and juice directly in glass containers. Also, cleaning the mixing chamber is a pain - what you see in the youtube videos is just rinsing - do that a few times and youll have a nasty looking juicer in a few days. You really need to brush the inside thoroughly to get rid of all stains. And the locking mechanism get hard to use in time - when my kids help they press too hard on the tamper, so some juice comes out through the back pass the plastic o-ring. If that doesnt get cleaned, the locking wheel will be sticky the next day or so. I had to take the entire wheel off a few time already (a Phillips screwdriver will do the trick in a few seconds). So its not all perfect, but I will forgive these flaws for the major impact it had on our lives.UPDATE:It is now 8 months later and this juicer is still going strong. One more issue surfaced though - more than often we put in our juice a combination of kale, celery, bok choy, bell pepper, beet greens, parsley stems, collard greens, cauliflower leaves, cabbage, spinach, cucumber, and towards the end red beets and carrots (I try not too drink too much root veggies juice, so the last two we always juice at the end after I get some of the juice - the carrots also push through everything left in the juicing chamber). Almost every time I get to the red beet, I have some juice leaking between the transparent body and the black retaining nut, so that gasket is not sealing very well anymore. Always with the red beet.As mentioned above, we got rid of the plastic containers that came with the juicer. I use two glass cups for the juice, and when one is full I slide the other one under and dump the juice in a stainless shaker (I use the Dozenegg or the Winco, whichever is closer). The pulp we used to have it come out in a smaller mixing bowl, and either throw it away or use it for making broth. When we throw it away, we used to put it in one of those flimsy bags that came with the veggies (the pulp will stink up your trash very fast otherwise), but now we found an even better solution: dog poop bags! I use one and get it to stay on the juicer with one of those thick rubber bands that came with the veggies - see the uploaded picture. So now everything dumps directly in the bag, no mess to clean, no smell in the trash! The juicer works great for green leafy vegetables, carrots, apples, celery, and a few others, but not so great with soft fruits like kiwi or mango. It was easy to clean. However, I have to give it a one star rating because I have only had it for 2 and a half months and the plastic strainer part has broken from a Lime. I am one of those customers that believes that a product should just work and work for a long time without having to call the company for little annoyances like this. I hate plastic parts under stress. They just do not endure. If I could return it, I would. I will bite the bullet and buy a more expensive all metal juicer. Do your research and spend the money on some for your health that has quality!!! I purchased this juicer a few years ago after doing a lot of research and wanted to try going vegan. Previously, I had a cheap centrifugal juicer from target that made juice that tasted awful, separated right away, and had a TON of gross foam. Worst of all it was SO loud it sounded like a lawn mower, and I lived in a campus apartment with 3 other girls and felt really awkward about using it and waking up the entire building. So I took a chance and got this juicer even though it was way above my budget and I do not regret it at all, years later. The main reason I love this juicer is because it makes juice that tastes REALLY good. I couldnt stomach the stuff from my old juicer, but I actually crave the green juice I make with this one and look forward to having it. The juice it makes is such high quality, it doesnt separate even using alot of different produce (unless you leave it in the fridge for a while, but you can shake it back together and it stays) and it makes very little foam if any. Sometimes there is a TINY bit of pulp in the juice which doesnt bother me. Also, the pulp comes out SUPER dry, which never happened with my older juicer, which makes me feel like I am not wasting my fruit and vegetables.I also love this thing because it is just so easy to use and clean, its really simple. I find it a lot simpler and easier to clean than the old centrifugal I had. I also love that it comes with the different plates/attachments. The frozen banana ice cream with the blank attachment is amazing, way better than when you just put one in the blender. The last reason I love this juicer is because it is SO quiet, I can run this any time of day/night and not have to worry about bothering anyone, the noise is so minimal, perfect for apartment living. My favorite juice recipe to make with this (in the picture) is kale, romaine, carrots, apple, and grapes. If you do not like the taste of kale/green juice, throw some grapes in and it makes it taste amazing (I saw this in a video once and it is the best tip). First time use and it started to smoke. No easy way to get support and as an international purchase, we will be hard pressed to send it back Super disappointed in the quality of the components. With minimal use the screen cracked ( they said it was covered under warranty, but charged me for the replacement part) and now the black funnel piece broke off the feeder tube. Both times the parts broke I was just getting consistent in juicing and starting a cleanse…both times I couldnt continue due to failed parts. All the attachment pieces are cheap and flimsy and shake when turned on. I would love to get my money back so I can purchase a quality machine.

I received the Fire TV Stick 4K on launch day. I own the previous model and this is a much better experience. First off the remote is a huge improvement. The power button on the remote can turn on my tv, my receiver, fire stick, and switch the inputs automatically so the fire stick is on screen and ready to go with just one click of the power button. Its really nice. This is how it should have been all along. It gets even better though… lets say my TV is already on, and my receiver is set to a different input such as my FIOS tv box? All you do is click the home button on the remote and the remote switches the receiver to the correct hdmi input on the receiver for the fire stick! One remote to rule them all, and yes it controls volume on the receiver too! This is excellent. Its highly configurable. The setup is quite nice. You can define which inputs get picked when hitting the power and home button. You can define which device the volume buttons control. Amazon has done a great job with the Fire Stick 4K.Its faster than previous fire sticks. No more menu lag. Things are smoother and faster overall. Ive used Roku, Chromecast Ultra and Fire Stick… I like them all for different reasons. I also dislike chromecast because 5.1 audio will not work on my receiver because chromecast refuses to support Dolby Digital or DTS 5.1. Fire stick has no problem handling DD5.1. This makes my plex and netflix experience much more enjoyable. The remote is better than not having a remote (chromecast). Rokus are very nice as well. All 3 of these options are great in their own way and frankly I had thought fire stick was the least desirable but recently Ive come to realize I prefer Fire stick so I pre-ordered the 4K fire stick and I could not be happier with it. Amazon needs to keep up the good work. The 4K stick is a solid product and an excellent upgrade from the previous model Let me tell you, I was super excited for the launch of the new FireTV Stick with its leading edge technology and processing power. Well, its got that but theres a couple bug, game breaking problems I have with this thing.1) The Amazon platform is basically retooled Android, which is a crap interface. Its cluttered, redundant, and Amazon being Amazon wants you to use all their services over everyone elses so not only does their menu get in the way but the top third of the home screen is promotions for whatever they want to push.2) Also because its Amazon they want you to use THEIR streaming services to rent movies so much so that there is no Vudu or Google Play app available to install. If Prime Video had a decent selection of rentals (it doesnt) or a halfway usable interface (it doesnt) I would have less of a problem.3) Our FireTV Stick has issues with flickering and sound dropout. Tech support immediately supplied a series of less than helpful troubleshooting tips. Did you try a different TV? Did you try a different HDMI port? Despite my Roku working just fine. I elected to return this since I was already fed up with the closed interface and terrible menus.Slightly less of an issue but still annoying is the inability to completely turn off HDR. Its either always on or adaptive meaning the content dictates HDR which is a problem especially with Netflix (which is calibrated too dark on some TVs)For now Im happier with my Roku Stick despite less robust HDR support.Edit: updated my review for the following:- Amazon reached out immediately after my review to get additional feedback and to offer more support. That actually means something these days. Ill continue to monitor for problems- I upgraded to a new TV and this makes the HDR issue better since it actually looks good on this TV. Problem still stands of not being able to disable HDR entirely if needed- The smart controls feature is nice. I can use Alexa to change TV inputs now.- Less flickering on new tv but still have sound dropoutsHowever my issue with not having a way to watch VUDU/UV movies is a huge issue. On top is that, MoviesAnywhere doesnt tell you which movies were transferred over in 4K. So while the titles may sync, in cases of certain films (eg Deadpool 2) you only get the HD version and not the UHD/HDR one you paid for. Until this is fixed Ill leave my review at 3 stars. Our main streaming service is DirecTV Now, and this stick doesnt run it right. The app seems to works and then just freezes. When I go to run a speed test, the connection is super low, and then ramps up over time back up to full speed. Its as though the app crashes the stick. Other things seem to work fine, but not the app we use the most. Will return and continue to use gen 2 and gen 3 devices. Too bad.UPDATE: So, I deleted DirecTV Now and did a fresh install. For the past three days, things actually worked well and considered revising my rating. Then I tried to watch a little Sunday football. CBS froze over and over again and caused the app to continually crash. Thought maybe it was the local CBS stream because other channels worked fine. Then I tried the Roku I have in my kids room, DirecTV Now worked fine. Figured Id give it another go for the second game, same result. Watched Rams/Seahawks in my kids room with no issue on the Roku device. Again, other apps seem to work fine (I think) on Fire, but this stick isnt right just yet. Id wait for problems to work itself out.

This was an inebriated amazon purchase ( youve done it too, so dont judge me). I havent had a really great opportunity to use them yet, but the anticipation and excitement was worth the low cost of these. These are so great they work perfectly are you have to do is shake them up and press down on the tip for a few minutes until you see the chalk flowing through the pen tip. Then youre good to go I dont suggest storing these standing upright I suggest you storing them on their side because otherwise youre in flow is too heavy to the front and you dont want that. These are really great they work perfectly and make it very easy for you to write with chalk and a bold colorful way. These are great! The colors are awesome and bright! They work great. The colors are vibrant, they are very easy to use on different surfaces, and great color selection. I could not be happier with the product and my experience with the vendor. I was concerned when the company contacted me to ask how I liked the markers when I hadnt received them… but they showed up 2 days later. They are great!!! Colours are bright and look fantastic on a chalk board. Love them… easy to use and easy to clean. Perfect. :) Super bright and my daughter loves to write inspirational quotes on her mirror. Wipes off easy and looks fun Bought these for wedding blackboards…they were perfect…small tip for writing…only used the white so far…washed off easily the next day These worked great for my project, I love the bright colors! Excellent customer service from this seller, will buy from them again!

Got Echo Show as gift from my son last Christmas. At first we had it in our bedroom but after realizing that Alexa is watching and listening to us all the time we decided to place our Echo Show in our living room. I have also installed smart switches and plugs to control lights in various parts of the house and also paired the Echo with different bluetooth speakers. The problem is I have to go near the Echo to give Alexa the command. If I want to listen to music in our bedroom I have to go out of our room and be near Alexa to ask her to play music and switch to bluetooth speaker In our bedroom. Now with Alexa Voice Remote I can give command while Im on bed. To make sure Alexa is listening first command is to ask her to connect to bluetooth speaker on my bedside table or to my TV soundbar (need to call out specific speaker name that was registered in Echo during tha pairing process). From then on I can talk to Alexa as if Echo is my side and I dont have to worry that Alexa is listening coz you need to press talk button for Alexa to hear you (lol). By the way, the instruction that comes with the Alexa Voice does not include pairing with Echo Show and so for a moment Ithought it was made to Echo and Echo Dot only and will not work on Echo Show but It did not take long for me to find the instruction from Amazon Device Support. Im truly happy with this purchase. this thing is a useless lump… IF YOU WANT MULTIROOM AUDIO CONTROL. hear me out. you pair it with one Echo (as the website says). no problem. you start multiroom audio (either from the voice remote, by shouting at alexa or from another room whatever). as SOON as you start multiroom audio the echo this remote is paired with… DISCONNECTS the remote. you cant even change volume, let alone stop or change audio. NO WHERE does it say this on this ad, or in amazon help. amazon support says this is considered controlling multiple devices and isnt supported. throwing it in a drawer since i didnt keep the box. This will be my 4th… YES FOURTH remote I had to re-purchase after the other ones stopped working(all in 2017!!!). If you check all the negative reviews I have had all of the same problems. 1-The voice remote button stopped working 2-the mic button works, but alexa never answers 3-the entire remote stopped working (when I inserted new batteries the remote started to get warm…I thought it was going to start a fire). The only reason why I keep getting new remotes is because the brick and mortar amazon store is around the corner from my job and keeps allowing me to exchange/return at no cost. The voice remote is a device that has become part of my every day and I find I cannot be without it. From working out in a different room from my echo dot to streaming music in an outhouse and outdoors its VERY convenient and useful. Amazon…please if you are reading this FIX THE PROBLEMS ONCE AND FOR ALL. I am not rough with these remotes. I do not perspire on these remotes…I have not dropped the remotes…they are not durable. Please address these issues at your next meeting!!! This hasnt worked for me. I have several Amazon dots and Echo devises, and am generally very impressed with their design and operation. However, while the dot I have installed with an outdoor audio system works seamlessly when I speak to it directly, when I use the Alexa voice remote it doesnt recognize 90% of my music requests from my extensive Amazon Prime library. It will recognize generic requests such as play Beethoven, Jazz, etc.), but if I request a specific artist, song, or album from one of the 3,000+ albums in my Prime Music library it invariably fails, and pulls up something completely unrelated to my request, or tries to direct me to Pandora. I dont write many reviews unless the product in question is extremely bad or extraordinarily good. In this case I am happy to say this was the later. If you enjoy playing with you echo dot, But find yourself screaming to get alexa to stop, you will love this remote. If you hooked your echo dot to a big home stereo and use it like a voice activated jukebox (only way better!!!) you will love this remote. The range is awesome it goes through all the walls in my house. I can turn off the lights in my bedroom by voice even though the echo dot is in the front room. You just have to remember that when you use the remote you do not have to say the trigger Alexa just push the button with the microphone icon on it hold it down for a second so that it has time to trigger the dot, and say Play Led Zepplin stairway to heaven or whatever you desire to do. Or whatever wifi things you have configured for your echo. I have tplink lights in several rooms so I can just say my bedroom off or my bedroom on etc. Plus the remote has a pause fast forward play and rewind on it so if you are playing your song library you can just hit pause or go to the next song with it or hit the mic button and say next. I think the negative reviews I have read in the past were because people did not understand how it works

This is an initial out-of-the box review:First off, what these headphones are. (40+ years of pro audio experience here). These are an excellent Home Studio/Personal listening headphones. DJ quality? Well if your talking a weekend warrior occasional party DJ, then yeah. Professional/Commercial DJ use that subjects them to a lot of physical punishment, then absolutely not! Lets get real, theyre $30.00 headphones.I give a positive 5 star for the following reasons: Sound quality to price point. I am hard pressed to tell any real notable difference between my high dollar studio grade Sennheiser or Bose headphone. These are also my first 50mm driver phones too. Here is my evaluated OPINION. Remember, all you really get on these reviews are just that, opinion…Test 1. THX Sound System Check. Very accurate reproduction.Test 2. Bose Studio Demo CD. Very Good.Music Tests:1. Also sprach Zarathustra, Op. 30-Richard Strauss; Excellent & Accurate.2.Toccata and Fugue in D Minor, Just like I was there. Nice crisp highs and great low frequency.3. AC/DC, Thunderstruck & Shoot to Thrill; Oh Yeah…4. ABBA Yep, sounds great.5. Paranoid both GFR and BS versions, No disappointments here either.6. Lynyrd Skynyrd- Simple Man & Free Bird - Lets face it, it would take an Awfull headphone to ruin these. That said, Front row experience.7. IRON BUTTERFLY IN- A-GADDA-DA-VIDA, Rock ON!!8. Yanni Acropolis CD. Very Pleased here too.Heres what these headphones Are Not! Thy are not Bass Heavy like some reviewers have stated. What theyre doing is actually reproducing more accurate Bass that what smaller driver headphones are unable to reproduce. I would classify them as Bass Accurate, not heavy. They are also not skull crushers as some have noted. I have been wearing them 5+ hours straight while reviewingI evaluated these both barefoot and also using a Neoteck NTK059 headphone amplifer. The amp did add a real positive dimension to the overall experience, however, I am sure all except the most demanding audiophiles will be very pleased with these just as they are. I just bought a second pair. I bought these last year and let them sit on my nightstand for 6 months thinking they were a solid buy but at the time I had no real use for them. I have since started a job in a noisy cube farm where I desperately want to block out all the ambient noise without having to pay the price for noise-cancelling headphones. I remembered I had these on my nightstand so I decided to give them a shot. Ive owned hundreds of headphones and earbuds over the years and used them in a wide variety of situations so I consider myself a pretty good judge of sound quality and let me tell you…HOLY SH*T These Are Awesome for the price!!! I have other over-the-ear headphones (studio monitors in fact for audio books) and the price to value ratio with these blows them out of the water! Seriously, if youre looking for crisp clear highs, solid mid-range, and bass that rivals studio monitors in clarity and power at a price thats too good to be true, then my friend these are the right headphones for you! I know I sound like a fan boy but I take listening in high quality very seriously. At this price no one comes close! These guys deserve to be praised for what theyve done. And did I mention the comfort? I wear these sometimes 8 hours a day 5 days a week and the build quality and comfort you get, for the price, is second to none. Buy the whole family a set and young and old, youll see what Im talking about. The OneOdio headphones have a very clean sound, and make you realize how much you have been missing when listing to the computer speakers or even to external, Bluetooth speakers. It seems to have a V-shaped response curve, making it sound flat to the majority of adults who have roll-off at the ends of their hearing spectrum, or for those who like listening at lower volumes. The result is a full, rich sound, without sounding artificially warmed or boosted. It is even over the frequency spectrum, unlike the frequency response humps that you can get with a 5-band graphic equalizer or bass boost.Totally flat, studio monitor headphones, sound flat and lifeless. This headset, on the other hand, provides a great, rich, full, even, clean, musical experience. I think that it is the ideal headphone for personal listening.Although these headphones do not have active noise cancelling, the cushions keep most of the outside sounds out. So they are good for avoiding distraction. The speaker cup gimbals allow multiple positioning. They can be used over-the-head in normal configuration. They can be collapsed with the cushions against each other and touching the inside of the headband, for storage, with or without one or both electric cords wrapped around the ends of the headband. They can be opened fully flat against someones body for sound healing — e.g., chakra or solfeggio tones, or RIFE frequency sets, or body-felt music, or fetal music. The supplied cords and ports are ingeniously designed. The headphones have both a 1/4 phone jack and an 1/8 phone jack that can be used either for audio input or daisy chaining for listening through two sets of headphones. The red cord is a stereo cord with a 1/4 phone plug at one end, and an 1/8 phone plug at the other. It can plug into a computer or phone or other device, or can be used to daisy chain to a 1/4 amp input. The red cord has a short section of coiled cord for strain relief. The black cord is 1/8 to 1/8 with an inline microphone for headset use. This is the best dollar value for a high quality, versatile headphone/headset that I have seen. Beginning with the sound it is spectacular the levels of low and treble that allows you to use it is spectacular, its construction is of very good quality, it comes with two cables of very good aspect and quality. It is a product that gives a very good benefit for its coast.

Notes from the Community

I was happy to get a pair of earbuds similar to those of the AirPods. The charging box is small, only a little larger than a book of matches. When fully charged, the case will charge the earbuds several times before needing to be plugged in. The earbuds have a good battery life; I was able to wear them for five consecutive hours and still had some power when I took them out. Unfortunately I did not find the sound to be as loud as I was hoping. They would work well while at the gym, but if you are trying to drown out your very loud snoring roommate, these are not the earbuds you want to use.

First of all, I got sent a product that is completely defective. The gauge on this reads that it needs to be recharged. This is especially aggravating due to it being a safety hazard. But, the horrors continue. This product wont let me return it without contacting the company. Amazon need to accept responsibility. They wont even let me add a photo proving what Im claiming! This is a safety item. Im baffled. I will continues to try to contact Amazon directly. DO NOT NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!! This item doesnt fit in its intended space. When I requested a return, I received a message this item is not returnable. This is NOT stated anywhere on the product description or ordering page. The First Alert fire extinguisher arrived in the condition appearing to be at the end of its usable life. The needle of the pressure gauge is so close to the undercharge red zone. I hope it would last at least a year before moving to the red zone for recharge.Update @ 7/15/18It expired within 2 months! The needle moved to the Recharge red zone now. Do you think if I should buy anything with an expiration date from Amazon in the future? Was sent a defective extinguisher with a bent handle and no charge in the extinguisher. I went to a certified fire extinguisher retailer to see if they could fix/recharge it and they said it was faulty and had a leak. Am unable to return the item per whatever policy is in place even though I had ordered it only 10 days ago. I do not feel comfortable replacing parts on something that could be used to save my home or my familys life. Hopefully, well never have to find out how good this is, but we are immensely grateful we had two extinguishers 6 months ago when our electric water heater started a fire in our utility room. We had full on blazing! The second extinguisher was just starting to run out when the fire department arrived. If it wasnt for having two and my hero of a husband, we would have lost everything. We now have four extinguishers. Kitchen, utility room, living room hidden in basket near the fire place and one in the back of the house. Since writing this review I realize we dont have one in the garage. Got one more to order.Fire was contained in the utility room, but smoke, soot and ashes affected the whole house. Contractors will hopefully have everything done in a week or so. The extinguisher showed up with its chemicals all over the outside and falling out of the nozzle. It was suppose to come full but the gauge said it was completely empty and the instructions said it was inoperable. Very disappointed. The chemicals got all in my nose too! Made it burn. I mean I hope it works when I need it? If it doesnt and I somehow dont survive the fire, Ill be sure to update the review. I based this purchase strictly on wanting a small, handy fire extinguisher specifically for kitchen use. I happen to know the classifications and intended uses of the different types of extinguishers, but my wife doesnt. I bought this and mounted it at the top of my basement stairs which is in close proximity to the kitchen and easily accessible if needed. It is compact and has a low-profile. Not too heavy to handle and operate. Most importantly it is specifically intended for oil/grease and electrical fires (B-C). The other deciding factor was that it has a pressure indicator. I was considering some of the aerosol-type extinguishers but they have no way of indicating they are still pressurized. The last thing you want to do is hope the unit will work when needed (over time, extinguishers may or may not lose pressure). This has an approved test button that you occasionally press to ensure the unit is still pressurized (it does NOT discharge any agent - it simply tests for adequate pressure). You should NEVER test extinguishers by slightly discharging them - the nozzle seal will be broken and it will slowly lose pressure. They will be rendered useless shortly after such a test. Overall this seems to meet our needs and we hope its never needed.

Before I say anything else, I have owned a bunch of actual Beauty Blenders. These makeup sponges are REAL Beauty Blender dupes. They are just as soft as the real one. They dont absorb a lot of product which is a huge no no when I purchase makeup sponges. I got tired of paying $20 for each Beauty Blender (I use 2 while applying makeup daily). I use them dry for full coverage but they do get larger when wet. They wash amazingly. Because they dont absorb a lot of product, it is very easy to wash them. I just use Dr. Bronners bar soap (peppermint) and water to cleanse. Perfection. 5 makeup blenders for 50% less than an Original Beauty Blender. Yes please!! Im honestly really stinking happy with my little sponges. They double in size as soon as you get them damp but they dont soak up like any of my foundation so nothing goes to waste. It applys my makeup smoothly and works just as well as a beauty blender but for a fraction of the price. Totally worth it. You can see that it does stay a larger size when its dry after its been used vs the blue one I havent used yet. I would say these are very comparable high end blending sponges for a fraction of the price. Easy to use, soft, applies foundation & blends my bronzer well. They also are a lot easier to clean than many of the blending sponges I have used in the past - not sure why, but definitely a major plus! I was never a fan of makeup sponges… (I know horror of horrors, I used my fingers!) as I was unable to find one that felt comfortable to use or didnt fall apart after a month of use. Well, that all changed w/ these sponges. Theyre easy to use, dont fall apart and when using them with my foundation, provide even coverage while using less product. The reason for the 4 stars is that they didnt come with any instructions or guide on the correct way to use them with products other than foundation… that would be very useful for a newbie sponge user like me. After paying $20 for one sponge in a department store I was aghast and delighted to find this set of several. They do the jobs intended although you dont have the fine control of a brush for some things and I want a flat part, so cut I piece off with scissors. That works great, Ive even been able to use the cut off piece for smaller jobs. I also like that I can dedicate each color to a certain job and there no crossover, plus I still have backups when I want a completely clean one. Ive had no trouble washing them out, but expect theyll give out eventually. At this point—frequent use over a couple of months, I see no sign of deterioration. I bought these after trying at least three other make up blenders, and these are by far the best. I never tried the original beauty blender because of the high price point for one, but I think these must work just as well, for a fraction of the cost. I tried at least two other similar sponge blenders and they worked pretty well, but with those, 1) I felt like they sucked up a lot of makeup, even damp, and 2) I felt like the sponge broke down and developed splits in the foam after only a few weeks. Given the price, I would have been satisfied with that, but then I stumbled upon these almost 6 months ago, and realized I had wasted money on those other products. These are fantastic. Seriously, I purchased these in March -Its now October- and I still have one left in the package, and only just started using the 4th one so I have a while to go before Im out. Im purchasing a new set right now though, which made me think to write this review.I believe some people use these dry, but I always use them wet; I think it helps with not sucking up so much make up to use a damp sponge. I also think it helps really blend the foundation into my skin (I tried those silicone ones and bleh! It was like mopping makeup all over my face, I could not get the makeup to blend smoothly!). I also think it helps to keep my face looking moisturized throughout the day. I have problem skin, with hormonal acne around my period, and cystic pimples that come out when Im stressed (which is often) and I use a lot of strong treatments on my face (salicylic acid, benzyl peroxide, tea tree oil, etc.) that can result in drying, peeling skin, and I feel like this sponge helps apply over these areas smoothly. I also tend to end up with scabs and think that the sponge also does a reasonable job to help camouflage these spots with concealer.I use the sponge each morning to put on my liquid foundation and sometimes concealer. I use an antibacterial gel soap (from bath and body works!) to gently work out the old makeup every day; it takes about 30 seconds, and it cleans up, almost like new each time. The only reason why I switch every 4-6 weeks is because the sponge will eventually develop cracks from daily use and cleaning, which doesnt allow the makeup to apply as smoothly. What is kind of strange is that I noticed that the pink ones seem to hold up and clean up much better than the other colors. Maybe that is just a coincidence.Overall, at $2.00 a sponge, I could not be happier. I have encouraged my sisters to purchase these, and encourage anyone reading to purchase as well. I really dont know how I ever applied makeup with my fingers! These are softer the a Real Techniques beauty blender but still work great. These are by far a better deal, they work the same but are cheaper and you get more sponges for your buck. I will definitely purchase again. Also arrived right on time. Sorry a few other things randoms in the picture but wanted to show they are just like the photo online. love these things! this is my second order and I tend to go through sponges pretty quickly (fear of germs, dont judge). PRICE is perfect and I like the feel of these much better than a $20 beauty blender. they clean well, blend amazingly, and help pick up any extra I may have applied. works great dry with powders also!!!

Wool Dryer Balls by Smart Sheep 6-Pack, XL Premium Reusable Natural Fabric Softener

Some reviewers indicated these dryer balls cut down on drying time and soften clothes as they facilitate tossing clothes during the drying cycle. In my experience, drying time may be lessened minimally, but I dont expect a lower electric bill as a result. In addition, I would not say these dryer balls make the clothes significantly soft by themselves. However, I am very happy not to be using fabric softener in my machine and in my clothes. Omitting fabric softener has resulted in clothes coming out smelling and feeling clean (I could always feel the fabric softener still in towels, for example). I have found that white vinegar is a natural rinse agent and fabric softener. Adding about 1/2 cup of white vinegar to the fabric softener dispenser helps ensure the clothes are soft and rinsed well (no more fabric softener residue), with minimal static cling. So yes, I am happy with the combination of the dryer balls, and the vinegar in the fabric softener dispenser. Im also happy with the money I save not buying fabric softener. I bought these dryer balls as a spur of the moment decision and have been very happy that I did. They are solid but soft and about the size of a large orange or small grapefruit. They are a permanent fixture in my dryer and have helped keep my laundry soft and unless I overload the dryer, they really do help reduce the dry time. I dont think they are as helpful in reducing dryer time for say, a queen/king size comforter because the dryer is simply too full for the dryer balls to bounce around much. Yes, they bounce around and do add some additional noise to the dryer cycle, but because they are soft, its not like youve got a tennis shoe rattling around or anything, but it will be a little louder and you will hear them bumping around. An added and unexpected bonus is that these wool balls attract dog hair away from my clothing! On any given day, I have a minimum of 4 Samoyeds (very hairy white dogs) and 2 white-ish cats who are all dead set on depositing as much fur on my clothing as possible. So I know about hairy clothes! They dont leave my laundry fur-free but there is a noticeable reduction since I started using them.I have also added scented oils to the dryer balls with good success. While its probably best to not use heat with essential oils, I wasnt using it as a therapeutic use, but more just to try out how well the scents would transfer. It works pretty good and I had scents last through multiple loads of laundry. Just be careful that the oils get absorbed well by the wool before drying or youll be distributing actual oils onto your laundry and not just passing along the smell.Overall, I love these things. Just know that they can get all tied up in laundry and I lost one for a while because it was wrapped up inside a fitted sheet and I hadnt noticed it. I would not say they are better than dryer sheets at removing static, but Im impressed that they cut my drying time on towels from 180 mins to 80 minutes. Since the washer washes faster than the dryer can dry, these wool dryer balls are going to live in the dryer now. Towels and insulated pants are no longer going to hold up progress with their longer drying times. I did a load of towels comparison to test these. I have a high capacity washer and when I fill it full of towels I have to run it through the dryer for 180 mins. When I checked them with the balls they were dryer at 40 mins than they used to be at 90, so I put them in for another 40 minutes. For towels at least… it literally cut my drying time in a little less than HALF. You can hear them in there but they arent any louder than my washer and they certainly arent as loud as tennis balls. They did not however remove all the static out of my load of microfiber towels. Overall Im impressed with their cost savings! These are amazing! I do about 2-3 loads of laundry a day. I love these! Back in 12/18 I bought a 6pk of Smart Sheep Dryer balls and a 6pk of Dryer balls from another brand. I wasnt sure what to expect, and Im amazed. They are all used together for drying my laundry. After 8 months of use, I still have all 6 Smart Sheep Dryer balls (they are holding up, no unraveling like the other brand, smell pleasant, are keeping their shape, etc). I like them so much I bought them as gifts for other people. Out of the 6pk from the other brand I bought I am down to 2 dryer balls left- they all unraveled and became misshapen. The pictures Im adding dont lie! These Smart Sheep ones are fabulous! I use them with Essential Oils as well to freshen stuff up. Highly recommended!! My husband purchased these without my knowledge as I was skeptical. We used to use the dryer bars but they have become difficult to find. We HATE traditional dryer sheets but as you can guess, not using anything left our clothes full of static cling and uncomfortable. The dryer balls are kind of a pain when changing the laundry as they get tangled in sheets and towels, but once you learn to feel for them as youre emptying the dryer, you get used to that pretty well. I have DEFINITELY noticed a difference in the level of static and the drying time. I use all 6 balls for all loads because I usually only do large loads. These little balls have really made a difference in our laundry routine and Im glad my husband found and ordered them. I love these dryer balls. No more chemical softeners. I am happy with the product . I always used dryer sheets- so I was surprised to discover that static is not a problem. The balls are not as noisy as I feared and my clothes dry quicker. It is no longer a chore to evenly dry large items.Update August 2017I used lavender essential oil on these and they were fine. But after extended use-the sheep smell became overwhelming. Lavendar essential oil did not work. I have switched to Georgia Alpaca balls. They work great and do not have an odor and I have used them for 4 months now. I just changed this review to a one star from a five star.
