Notes from the Community

The arrived entirely dried out. Waste of my time. Im annoyed by that because as a teacher, I do not use all of the colors at once, so why would I even think to test them? I tried to write on my white board at work and the first one was dry, okay I thought, I mixed it up with my old one… nope, each one after the other was dry. :( Expos are an invaluable tool at my job. Not only do they allow me to write the daily announcements for the students, they also help me illustrate how to solve an algebra problem in such a convoluted way that students are left more confused. Also, we all use them to play pictionary. If you do too, youve probably also realized that Expo needs to come out with more colors. Yellow should be in every pack, because Im pretty tired of the old orange sandy beaches and bananas.Needless to say, they get a lot of use in our class and they last a lot longer than some others weve tried. In terms of opacity, they are on par with Board Dudes but last longer. Neither though are remotely close to being as saturated in color as Colormate. However, Colormate does not wipe off easily like the other two. Also, Colormate dries out quicker. All three have pretty standard, decent chisel tips. Because these are a well known product and the price was right..(I got them for a great deal at 5.88) I was thrilled to be able to order them. I am a teacher and admittedly use these daily. At least half of the colors are too light to be seen on a white board and the other half dried up really quickly. A couple of months into buying this product and I can only use the black and that horrible brown. I am a teacher in a inner city school. Students do not bring in their own school supplies so I end up buying them. These markers dry out quickly. This was a total waste of money to the point that I want to call EXPO to see if there is any way I can get my money back. Some of the caps were not tight on the markers so they were dry or close to dry right out of the box.Dont waste your money. I seriously love these markers. I teach junior high math, and go through multiple sets throughout the year. As students share their work on the board, they love to pick a color to show what they are doing. There are also certain things I put on the board, and having it color coded helps them immensely. Being able to differentiate between ideas, thoughts, people, etc. is so much easier with colors. My own children (ages 8, 6, and 2) love that they can draw pictures on my boards when they come help me lesson plan.Although I do go through multiple sets per year, these markers last well. Some colors are easier to see writing with—dark blue, dark green, purple dark brown, and black can be seen well from the back of the room. Pink and light green are great for color-coding but not for writing. The other colors are great for some writing and explaining, but not lots of printing things that must be copied. The students favorites tend to be orange, and magenta, since those colors cant be found in any other classrooms (sometimes, kids even steal/borrow these colors because they want to use them on their locker white boards… they really, really, really like them!)If I leave the color on my board for a long time (2 or more weeks), or my classroom gets really cold (under 60), I have a hard time erasing, but write over it with a fresh coat of marker, and it comes off. These erase best with expo erasers, and occasionally I clean my board (like every 2 months) with expo cleaner. Other than that, theres not much need to clean it, as these markers erase cleanly, and dont leave a huge mess.I would recommend this pack for anyone with a white board who likes color. Red pen failed to write within minutes of first use. One or more pens failing seems to be a theme in these reviews. What makes this stand out is how difficult it is to get a replacement for a product with a clear history of problems. Default Amazon answer is not eligible for return, and wastes your time appealing. Would not recommend you buy this given the history of problems AND no support from Amazon in rectifying the issue easily. I am a visual person, so, I need to draw almost everything a read for school and learning purposes (molecular biology, signaling pathways, etc.), so, I painted my basement wall with a dry-erase paint, and after checking reviews, I decided to get this EXPO pack. Well, suffice to say Im so satisfied with the purchase. No lines left, nothing on the wall. However, I followed the recommendation of one persons review, suggesting to get the EXPO white board care spray. That works GREAT!!!! My board its SUPER clean. BTW, I used those microfiber towels that are used to clean the dust. That works very well. Great great choice. Really. I am a teacher who relies on dry erase markers. Expo markers are usually the best… when I saw the price on this deal, I was excited.SO disappointing… not sure how long these markers were in storage, but half of them were dried out and barely visible on my white board… not like Pink or Sky blue either. Im talking RED, GREEN, ORANGE… colors that SHOULD be bright and vibrant… oh well… back to brick and mortar for this kind of purchase I guess…

Top-quality latex-free erasers remove marks completely without smudging. Premium wood harvested from responsibly managed sources provides smooth, even sharpening with minimal breakage. These pencils are pre-sharpened to save you time and hassle. Teachers prefer Ticonderoga for its dependability and craftmanship. When only the best will do, choose Ticonderoga brand pencils.

Notes from the Community

I can be pretty picky about my pencils. The problem with Dixon Ticonderogas is that they are made in China and Mexico and on Amazon you never know what you will get. To complicate things somewhat, Ive seen incense-cedar wood used in both China and Mexico versions of the same pencil, as well as lesser quality non-aromatic basswood or other lower grade wood material that is not readily identifiable. Also, Ticonderogas over time have changed their packaging graphics and they will no longer specify wood type on the box, anymore. They now use a generic phrase Premium Wood / Bois de la meilleure / Madera de primera calidad which gives absolutely no indication if the wood is cedar or not.Of late, they have a stamp signifying 100% American CEDAR WOOD sustainable forests and this designation will grace all boxes of pencils that are created out of incense-cedar (presumably!).It seems that this stamp has started to show on their products manufactured starting 2016. You will see it on their colored erasable/checking pencils, Tri-Conderogas, and their standard issue Ticonderogas in the 12-pack cardboard box, 24-pack hang tab clear plastic boxes, 48-pack hang tab green cardboard boxes, and the 96-pack cello wrapped variety which is in actuality 8 of the 12-pack boxes packaged as a single 96 count unit. They probably will start to use this designation on other products as well to make it easier to distinguish which of their products are incense-cedar wood and which are not.UPDATE: They also have a new stamp in the form of a gold colored banner: Celebrating over 100 years of excellence. AVOID those like the plague! You are buying the low-end Ticonderoga. The irony…that they would label their low-end garbage as excellence.Ticonderogas come in a higher grade and lower grade now. Look for the green-white CEDAR WOOD stamp if you want the high grade Ticonderoga. The problem is that there are huge stocks of pre-2016 packaging and it is hard to tell whats inside unless you actually peek into the box and handle the pencil in person. Even then, some variety of Ticonderogas will have sloppy paint jobs that have paint dripped over the ends and make it difficult to see the wood grain or take a whiff which is an important hint as to what you are dealing with (cedar vs basswood). Of course this is not possible when buying on Amazon.Ive bought 96-pack Ticonderogas at the large wholesale membership stores before (Costco) that are of the Mexican origin, in the same cello wrapped individually boxed units per dozen, HOWEVER, they are not marked for individual sale, meaning the bar codes and product code (i.e. 13882) are not imprinted on the individual boxes. The 96-pack bought today (2/6/2016) here on Amazon are also of the Mexican variety, in the same cello wrapped individual boxed units per dozen, AND they are each marked for individual sale, replete with barcodes and product codes. This is an interesting distinction because there is a huge quality difference between the two, and this is the crux of this review:- The Costco variety have a strong paint smell where the Amazon variety is nicely aromatic cedar.- The Costco variety is NOT imprinted as 100% AMERICAN cedar wood, the Amazon variety has the imprint.- The Costco variety is obviously not cedar wood, wood is a pasty white without visible woodgrain patterns- The Costco variety had very poor paint jobs and the classic green foil lettering and logos are noticeably poorer quality- There were more curved pencil bananas and off-centered leads in the Costco variety- The Amazon variety had largely well centered leads with mostly straight barrels, and the ferrule yellow paint stripes were cleanThis all means that if you are lucky and score a box of the cedar wood variety, you will have a great writing experience. The Mexican Ticonderogas were generally thought to be superior to the Chinese versions, because the Ticonderogas made in China largely used basswood/non-cedar wood, had a smallish eraser head, and the leads were poorly centered, and the ferrules were poorly painted as well. A lot of technical problems seems to plaque the Chinese version, like leads falling out (poorly bonded lead), or broken leads, or not sharpening well to a point (poor quality wood to blame). However, my Costco experience illustrates that both factories, whether it be China or Mexico, produce higher grade Ticonderogas and clearly lower grade ones as well.Interestingly, the latest batch of pencils that are hitting the shelves in big office retailers like Office Depot or Staples are of FANTASTIC quality and they are made in China versions, with well centered lead cores, incense-cedar wood barrels, sharply imprinted foil lettering, and ferrules that are printed very evenly with a bright yellow band, and erasers that are starting to grow to a size that almost rivals the Mexican counterparts. They are slightly darker in color and a very smooth, satin finish.I hope that Dixon is starting to listen to the myriad of complaints about the inconsistencies of their Ticonderoga product line, and the latest developments in this venerable brand is surely encouraging that all is not falling on deaf ears. In fact, the latest batch that are made in China would indicate that they have made a major commitment to restoring the brand to its former glory! I have to agree with the many other posts about the quality of these pencils. As a teacher, I NEED good pencils that dont constantly break and cause interruptions. I need reliable pencils, that LAST! The quality of the Dixon Ticonderoga Pencil has significantly gone downhill in the past 2 years. It USED to be the go-to pencil for teachers. Thats no longer the case. I have also found that in addition to the lead breaking far too often, the metal eraser ends are coming off as well! At first I thought the kids were doing it, NOT SO. I had several of them out on the reading table and picked one up to use it - right off came the entire eraser end when I tried to use the eraser. I picked up another, SAME thing! What a shame. NO REASON the quality had to be sacrificed OR production moved out of the USA. I will be searching for a new GO-TO pencil. Strange batch of pencils… I apologize as I know I am about to ramble a bit, but Im going to be honest and specific. (Sorry for any spelling errors…autoINcorrect…you know how that goes.)As a homeschooling family with four children, weve purchased many many many Dixon Ticonderoga pencils over the years. Before having children of my own, they had already become my favorites. Theyve always been the best of affordable options, in my opinion. Sharpen well, dont break as easily as most, erase well, and last. We have purchased from local retailers in the past.Wanting to buy more at once in bulk before we start our next school year in a few weeks, I looked here.I found and placed an order for the pack of 96 pencils consisting of 8×12count boxes. Seemed like a good deal… I was happy. I have NEVER received these pencils for free or at a discount and felt that this was a good buy for our money. My order arrived very quickly and I was excited to open it (yes, I still get excited about new pencils).HOWEVER:Every single pencil in every single box was covered in, what I assume was, sawdust. Not just a little haze here and there…quite a lot as there were so many pencils. It got all over the table, my hands, and my clothes as I took then out of the boxes and sharpened them all.Odd…but they Are wooden pencils…no big deal really. Moved on.3 pencils are missing completely, each from a different box.Well, that is irritating.Multiple pencils are quite bowed, at least 8 that I counted once I started paying attention as I sharpened them all.Annoying to sharpen And to use, especially for my elementary aged children whom are still refining their pencil grip and handwriting form. Sheesh.2 pencils are cracked lengthwise. The cracks worsen with sharpening. Lead breaks easily. Pencils will split with use rather quickly.Great. Another thing = useless pencils.Oi. I feel a bit gypped. We live on, a very tight, one income. I am very frugal & make do when we need to make do. This possibly makes me a little more sensitive to problems like this than some, but I dont think anyone would be happy with this.I hate to complain…ever. To have to leave a negative review for a typically good product leaves a knot in my stomach. What is going in here? If my batch was this bad, I cant be the only one…surely. Are these are factory rejects??I realize that I purchased a larger number of pencils, but I just dont feel that these kind of issues should ever happen…much less this many in a single purchase. Very strange… Just be aware. Im sorry for the negativity, but I dont think I would purchase from this seller again.UPDATE: I am now regretting this purchase even more so. Upon further inspection, Ive noticed just how terrible the quality and manufacturing of this batch of pencils is. In addition to the issues I mentioned previously, I am now finding that multiple of these pencils have a deep uneven/ripple that runs down the entire length of the pencil. I assume that these will crack with use as well. I cannot find a stamped manufacturing number on most of them. The ones that do have this are very faint and look strange. There is bubbling in the paint on most of the pencils and flaking paint around where the metal eraser mount meets the pencil.Absolutely ridiculous that there are So many problems to stumble across when youre not really looking for them! I so wish I had not sharpened all of these before inspecting them carefully. Id have sent these back in a heartbeat. I have Never seen such terrible and questionable manufacturing from Dixon Ticonderoga pencils prior to ordering from here. Im starting to wonder if these are even legitimate at this point. They are certainly factory rejects regardless. Dont buy these pencils from here… I love a Dixon Ticonderoga pencil… however, these pencils were either dropped a lot, or really abused vedore they arrived at my house.bought these for end of year testing. Today I sharpened 12 (one box worth) this is a picture of the 12 pencils after their first sharpen, and most of the leads that fell out. The leads inside were very broken. The picture of one in my hand is from the first days use, I had a student hand it to me after bubbling in 10 bubbles on their test and thus is what it looked like after I got it to sharpen without the lead falling out.

Love this mask!! Tried it on my boyfriend the other day and he was also blown away by it!! We are both now obsessed! I have tried many products and this is by far the best product! When I saw my blackheads on the mask, I was surprised but glad that it was out.My skin felt smoother than before. The customer service is amazing too.I recommend this product! This was a great product. My fiance and i agreed to make an evening of it and we had a good time with the bonus of clearer and smoother skin after. As a professional chef, hes in the kitchen a lot and his skin suffers but this worked AMAZING! He got more out of it than i did but as a woman, i follow a routine skin cleanse more often than him. I could see the improvement in his skin as soon as the mask came off. His face was brighter and his skin was noticably softer. Mine was as well but his was definitely more dramatic. Overall, the mask itself doesnt smell or feel unpleasant but taking it off is a little daunting. We made it through peeling each others off without cursing at each other (lol). All joking aside, there are some tender spots, like under the eyes, on the cheek bones that are a little worse for peeling than the rest. Very happy with the overall result and would purchase and use again. I barely rated anything on Amazon, but I had to do it for this one.In my time, I have tried a lot of masks, but this mask is great. First of all, after applying the mud mask and letting it dry, my face feels very tight, which is natural because it is a technically dry mud. With like WARM water (very important), I made a small circle on my face, massaged it, and I let it wash off the face. Then I transferred the water to the coldest environment and gave it a nice rinse, then wiped it from the face and patted it.It does the trick! Ive used every other day since I got it. My face feels so clean & is soft, soft after use. Would recommend & will definitely be ordering again. My skin has never felt better. If you have any hesitation or doubt, please feel free to ask. As I continue to use this product, I will update you. After watching videos online about the charcoal mask and how it takes out the impurities of skin and makes it softer and smooth, I was convinced to try it. Watching online reviews along with different prices, this one caught my eyes!It did remove lot of impurities, however removing the mask wasnt as painful or difficult for me as I had anticipated after watching videos online. Next day used this mask again and it did take out more black/whiteheads again. Skin does feel softer immediately after peeling off the mask. I waited for half an hour to dry it after the application. Also I did give my skin a little hot towel treatment to loosen up the blackheads as the videos online suggested. So far I liked this one, and I am truly glad it wasnt painful for me to peel off this mask. For sensitive skin, I would recommend first time try on T-zone of face rather than applying on entire face. I have never tried a magnet mask before and I am very impressed by the quality of this one! This mask is amazing!! It works better than I imagined it would.I do recommend buying it.I also recommend doing it after a hot shower and after using and exfoliating face scrub that way the pores are open and no dead skin or whatever is sitting at the top of the pores making it so the mask cant pull out the black heads. This is the first time I ordered this mask and use it. I was a little skeptical because of all mix reviews on the mask. So I took time and did my research. This mask is particular works with me and my skin.Be careful when applying it. I recommend apply thicker layer so it is easier to remove and pull your blackheads. But before this make sure you open your pores .

Julk Series 3 38mm Case for Apple Watch Screen Protector, iWatch Overall Protective Case TPU HD Clear Ultra-Thin Cover for Apple Watch Series 3 (38mm)(2-Pack)

Notes from the Community

Fits great on all parts of the watch and can still easily select things on touch screen. Great quality for the price & compared to department store prices! I was hesitant to get another wrap around screen protector for my Apple Watch after a not-so-good experience with another product. I love that these are a soft, pliable plastic cover, which means no cracks! Its kind of a pain to put it on only because you have to take the straps off but its still super easy. The best thing…the touch screen reacts/responds just like it would if there were no protector on. Its awesome! Im very happy with this product and will definitely buy again (although I dont think Ill have to) I waited a little before posting this because I wanted to test the case out in a variety of conditions. I have used it during a run, in cold weather, in warm weather, around water and my watch has been dropped several times (from my nightstand). Overall, Im really pleased with the case. It provides me with the comfort that Im protecting my watch face and it is clear and unobtrusive (it sits directly on the watch, with the back open to obtain accurate heart rate readings). The watch face is just as responsive as it is without the case and I only noticed a slight fog effect when I wore it for a 5km run. Im really happy with this purchase. This cover is actually kind of perfect ! You cant beat the price and it protects your Apple Watch amazingly. Im a EMT so Im constantly working with my hands and accidentally striking my watch against something . The case fits perfect and if it wasnt for it , my watch would certainly be all scratched up . Definitely recommend! This is a very inexpensive way to protect the face of your Apple Watch. I have had mine for about two or three months now, and it has completely protected my watch. It also does not take away too much from the overall appearance of the watch. I like that it protects it all the way around the edges as well. I may get a new one in a month or two, because the material does wear down a little bit and it seems as though there is a slight amount of wear and tear… However for the price, I would absolutely order this one again. It is so worth it to protect the face of the watch! I highly recommend getting one if these for your Apple Watch. Prior to purchasing this I was afraid that it would interfere with my ability to use the touchscreen on my watch. I was so wrong! Its a good quality thickness yet there is absolutely no difference in the functionality of the watch itself. I have accidentally hit my watch against door frames and such and the typical white mark that is left on this protective cover easily wipes off with an alcohol pad. Works great. Fits great. This product is better than expected. Its a little pricey for what it is but in terms of not having a protective cover and considering that cost… its worth it. Also, it didnt make the watch any bulkier. Can hardly tell its on there. it is a perfect fit for my gfs apple watch series 3 (38mm). No cover in the back so feels like nothing is on the watch itself and actually makes my watch look better with glossy finish. It was hard to put on because its a such a PERFECT FIT for the watch. Never encountered any cover that fit so perfectly before. I bought 1 more for my friend as a gift cause I love it so much. Would buy it again and again
