About the Author Dot Hutchison is the author of A Wounded Name, a young adult novel based on Shakespeares Hamlet, and the adult thriller The Butterfly Garden. With past experience working at a Boy Scout camp, a craft store, a bookstore, and the Renaissance Faire (as a human combat chess piece), Hutchison prides herself on remaining delightfully in tune with her inner young adult. The Butterfly Garden was, without a shadow of a doubt, the worst book I have ever read. First, Id like to say that I enjoy the horror/thriller genre. I dont consider disturbing depictions of murder or rape a reason to rate a book poorly. Secondly, Im not the kind of person who just hates on books because I dont like the ending or I didnt like one of the scenes. I dislike books that are unbelievable or otherwise dont make any sense. This book is the worst book I have ever read because the premise was mundane and tired, the choice of first-person narrative was a huge mistake, and the final twist at the end will leave you not only angry at how much time you wasted, but curious as to how such a terrible book made it through the editing process. This review will not contain any spoilers that arent already in the synopsis of this story (which, admittedly, are the only interesting parts of this novel in general). All quotations used are from the synopsis.Part One: Plot and Story FailuresFirstly, and I hate to insult your intelligence with this statement but, the main point of a suspense/thriller novel is to be suspenseful and thrilling. This book is neither of those things. Within the first few pages (and in the synopsis), you know that an undisclosed number of girls called butterflies were held captive by a brutal, twisted man called the Gardner that would go to any length to hold beauty captive. And you know that the FBI has one of the butterflies in an interrogation room: Maya. The book tries to make her out to be a mysterious figure that might be hiding something that could break the case wide open, but at this point, there is seemingly nothing to tell. Nothing they would need from her in order to convict the Gardner, anyway. Still, they hold her there for hours on end prying information out of her. Thats a joke. The story oscillates between first-person (Maya) and third-person, and if a story is in first-person, then that means that person is doing a lot of talking. And if a person is doing a lot of talking, it isnt much of an interrogation. On that point, you find out there isnt much of a mystery either. This book is not a mystery, its a diary; a diary written by a girl that cant write.Maya talks endlessly about her time in the garden and describing what happened there without ever really helping the reader understand how terrifying a situation like that would actually be. Youd expect her to be too shook-up to talk about some of the details of her time there, but the book might as well have been written in bullet-point form given the lack of style and emotion. The reader never, ever feels like they are in the Garden. She describes a would-be horrific incident or event with as much emotion as I use when I tell people what I ate for lunch, but with less detail. The reader isnt given a single opportunity to connect with the main girl or any of the other butterflies in the story because everything is written so matter-of-factly. Not to say that the author gives the main character a cool detachment from her recent trauma; instead, the author spends more time trying to convince the reader how horrible it was, than to adequately describe the mood of the garden, or give some thought into how captured, young girls would actually act in such an environment. Just because the character finds something indescribable, does not give the author an excuse not to describe it! If a character in a book Im reading is crying, I want to have tears in my eyes. The author telling me that a character feels a certain way does not automatically make the reader feel that way. There is no emotion in the authors writing style, and to be honest I was absolutely shocked to find out that she was a woman. In the end, and after nearly 300 pages, nothing happened in the book that someone whos watched even a single episode of Law and Order: SVU couldnt guess. The pacing doesnt help either. Most of Mayas accounts in the garden begin with her saying some terrible thing happened, and then describing that event in a lackluster manner. You already know whats going to happen! Shes just describing how it happened! Thats not suspense! This book could have been partially (like, I would have given it 2 stars instead of 1) saved if the book was written while these events were happening instead of after the fact. Despite the relative shortness of the book, each of Mayas stories feel very long, because you already know how each is going to end. Also, if youre going to write a semi-horror, mystery thriller, dont spare the reader the disturbing details. Thats why the reader chose this genre over romance or a self-help book. Diluting all the would-be disturbing moments that would make the readers hair stand on end to thoughtless euphemisms defeats the entire purpose. The reader wants to be scared of gardens, the reader wants a shiver to run down their spine the next time they see butterflies, but the author makes none of this happen. So, what was the point?Part Two: Character Failures:Not to be outdone by the terrible writing, the characters in this story are equally infuriating. First, Ill start with the cops because they are easy to dismiss. Their entire role in the story could be substituted by the words and then. All they do is prompt Maya to continue her story. With backstories as derivative as a loose-cannon cop with nothing to lose!, they add absolutely nothing to the story. They dont ask thoughtful questions that help Maya reveal pertinent information, and they arent out on the streets piecing clues together (mostly because the crime was solved on page 6), they are listening to a girl read a long diary, and bringing her water and food. Additionally, does the author really expect the reader to believe that the FBI would allow two men to question a woman thats been through what Maya has been through? This is just one of many details that are incongruous with how life really works.Probably the most disappointing character is the Gardener. The Gardener is a poorly done version of the very popular sociopathic-villain trope. I cant say too much about him without spoiling the book Im trying to spare you from, so Ill just say this: making someone you know to be crazy seem normal is one of the most unsettling things an author can do, but making a crazy person seem normal is not as easy as making a crazy person do normal things. The end result is a villain that doesnt make sense not because the author does a great job making him teeter between sane and insane, but because the author expects the reader to just accept that he is insane because he has a garden full of girls that he kidnapped. I do think hes crazy because of that, but its the authors job to make me feel it. The Gardners character never creeped me out or made me feel sick to my stomach. The most emotion his depiction evoked out of me was annoyance. Finally, this brings us to the last character mentioned in the Synopsis: Maya. She is nothing more than the laziest and most out-of-touch attempt at a strong female character. This is a critical flaw because so much of the book is written in the first-person. In order for this style of writing to be effective, the character needs to be critical, empathetic, descriptive (cant stress that enough), and self-aware. Maya is none of these things and the book suffers for it. The author writes the character as if crying is the weakest thing a person can do, and if a person never cries, then they are strong. Incorrect. Maya is an unbelievable character in the sense that it is impossible that a person with her background could exist as she does in this book in real life. The author doesnt write her with any flaws, so she is not relatable, and her current personality does not match her backstory. Shes too cool under pressure, too comfortable with men, and too clever for a girl of her years and experiences. The fact that she outsmarts one of the detectives several times is completely ludicrous. Maya does not make any sense as a character, and further dooms this mess of a novel. The rest of the cast does not help this ensemble. They are a sporadic display of the most one-dimensional characters ever conceived, and I am including the seven dwarves from Snow White.Part Three: ConclusionNot all books have to be Pulitzer Prize contenders to be considered good. A book just needs to be entertaining. They should evoke an emotion of some sort. Boredom is not an emotion, and anger at the author for wasting my time doesnt count either. Despite the positive reviews, objectively, this is not a good book. Far too often I felt like the author thought, Ive heard that when XYZ happens in someones life they act like ABC, so Ill have XYZ happen so itll explain why shes like ABC, without actually explaining why shes like that! Im not dumb. I dont need handholding to help me connect dots (not that this book had dots to connect), but this style of writing is lazy and shows a lack of creativity. A book is supposed to paint a picture! The authors choice to shy away from the more gruesome details or difficult to fathom emotions show a lack of understanding of the story she was trying to tell the reader. Maybe suspense/thriller just isnt her genre. Maybe the author was trying something new. Whatever the case, it was not a success.Part Four: Small Things that Threw Salt in the WoundWhere was the zoning board when this beyond enormous greenhouse was being built? The HOA wont let me have an iron-wrought fence, but this guy can build a cage the size of Six Flags in his back yard? PleaseSince I bought a digital copy, I wont be able to burn this book for warmth during an apocalypse. The Gardner kidnaps and tattoos girls with dark skin. Color tattoos dont show up well on dark skin! Why would someone obsessed with butterfly tattoos choose girls with skin tones that wouldnt show the tattoos? I understand that this is probably for diversity, and as a dark-skinned woman, I am all about that, but not when it is incongruent with the story. My feelings arent hurt when there arent any black people in 17th century British dramas, and it would not have hurt my feelings here either. I shall endeavor to avoid spoilers, but be warned there are references to the many reasons this book sucks with an intensity rarely found outside of industrial strength vacuum cleaners. My wife read this book in old fashioned paper, suggested I read it and then promptly lent it to a neighbor lady who liked it and in turn lent it to her mother, from whence it has never returned, so I bought it again for the kindle and read it. My assumption was that it couldnt be entirely awful if three women in a row enjoyed it. I have since learned to regret this tragic decision, though I will admit the book wasnt without any merit at all.So, Ill start with the good stuff here: the author paints some interesting characters and has a very readable voice to her writing. I feel like, if she had an editor with a basic understanding of logic who could guide and correct her, I could maybe really like something she wrote. Now that weve gotten that out of the way, let us move on to the bad and the ugly.Plot holes? The entire plot is a hole, and dont get me started on the twist. To those whove read this book and liked it, how did you suspend your disbelief about the garden, the gardener, and the entire idiotic, unbelievable, illogical plot? Rich dude or not, how did he have that walls drop down at the push of button glass prison built without arousing suspicion? What would you tell the contractors? I need a barracks style prison, with rooms for 20 - 25 girls, all with glass walls, but also opaque sound proof walls that can be lowered at the press of a button. Why do I need that? Its for, uh, when I have guests visiting, uh, special guests who dont like privacy and would prefer to be unable to leave. Why the sound proofing? Well, they get pretty loud when they party. Contractors: oh, okay, that makes perfect sense.Thats just one of a thousand holes you could drop the entire planet Earth through in this savagely stupid novel. Want another example? How about this, in what idiotic universe can one man overpower a group of over twenty unrestrained women? Why didnt the moronic horde of women just swarm the one guy between them and freedom? With an average age in the group landing somewhere in their late teens, were talking over twenty basically adult-sized women, and they cant figure out to group up on the one man holding them? The first thousand plot holes are nothing in comparison to the final brain-mauling monster that is absurdly stupid big twist at the novels conclusion. Dear lord, I cannot explain the myriad layers of stupid contained in that twist with spoiling this book for you, but please, I beseech you in effort to save a few hours of your life—dont read this book. There are other minor annoyances, but compared to the outrageously illogical plot theyre barely worth mentioning. The author seems to have a fixation on unusual names, which doesnt match reality well (in reality names uncommon names are, well, uncommon—look at the census data).Your time would be better spent elsewhere—pretty much anywhere, really. A revolting story about assault, rape, and torture of girls as young as 12, who are all described as being exceptionally beautiful with idealized bodies. Its all too easy to imagine sick individuals intentionally reading this book specifically for that content. No author should ever tackle such subjects in such a glorified and shallow way as Dot Hutchison does. I read to the end, increasingly horrified but anticipating a conclusion that would make sense of the authors choices. The final pages were a complete let-down and I felt sick to my stomach for both having spent money and time on this.

UPDATE: It appears Amazon has corrected the auto link to Ankeres. It now links to the correct Grillaholics link to purchase.BEWARE: I have purchased four of these mats from Grillaholics and have been very pleased. The current buy it now defaults to a Chinese counterfeit product that is made of unsafe material and of low quality. They have hijacked Grillaholics link. You will have to choose other sellers rather than the buy it now due to Amazons defaulting to the lower priced fakes. If you purchased one from Ankeres, I highly suggest you return it as it is unsafe. This is what the fake buy now looks like:Sold by Ankeres and Fulfilled by Amazon. Gift-wrap available. This mat works great. After reading about other people having issues with the grease accumulating on it and the recommendation was to use paper towels to soak it up during the grilling, I thought to myself that there has to be another solution to this problem. I decided to take a utility knife and cut randomly open slots on it (see photo). I am pleased to say that it was the solution to this problem. My food came out perfectly and I had no problems with the grease issue. I grilled chicken which is well known for flare ups, which I had none. The meat slid right off the mat and clean up was a breeze. The company that makes these probably should consider putting small holes throughout their mats. I was really skeptical of grill mats in general but, after doing a lot of looking around, picked up these from Grilaholics based on the number of good reviews and the reasonable price. I figured if they were going to melt all over my grill (which I still cant believe they didnt) I didnt want to waste a lot of money on them. After having used them a few times I can say they would be a bargain at twice the price. Im probably going to get an extra pair to have in the RV. At the end of the day Im going to end up saving a ton in non-stick spray!I love that they are delivered flat (thought they would come rolled up and Id have to press them with books for a week) and after a quick wash are ready to use. I have a charcoal grill and like to bring the heat right up to the grate to sear the meat for a few seconds and the mats took it like a champ, grill marks even transferred through.Cleaning the mats is much easier than cleaning the cast iron grill grates, just make sure you give them a proper wiping off with a paper towel before placing them in the dishwasher. These will also be great to take to the park when we go out for the day - Ive never thought I would actually use the public grills before, but with these I wont worry. If youve been hesitant about getting a grill mat, dont be. First off, as a self-proclaimed grilling aficionado and a BBQ purist, I dont typically use anything but hardwood lump coal and a match, but I thought Id give this a try. Simply put, this mat is amazing! Let me break down the benefits…1) Taste: Ive used similar grill mat products and experienced a burned-plastic taste (which other reviewers warned me about). Not with this grill mat. This mat preserves the integrity of whatever Im cooking.2) Heat transfer: I prefer my steaks seared but not charred, so I get the coals nice and hot (at least 600 degrees) and sear both sides. This mat not only allows the heat through, but I can even get those highly coveted grill marks through the mat! Major plus in my book. Plus, when Im cooking something greasy like burgers or brats, theres no arm hair-singing grease fire. Not even an occasional flare-up, which is great, considering arm hair is a requirement of a true backyard BBQer.3) Clean up: Arguably, my least favorite part about grilling is the clean up. I like to create a mess, not clean one up. When Im done using this mat, I can literally walk it inside (its cool to the touch) and wipe it down with a paper towel and throw it in the dishwasher. Done. Ive even started taking a spare mat with me to the grill in the neighborhood park. Those public grills are disgusting, but with my trust grill mat, my food never touches the rusty, Hepatitis-laden grates.Oh, and Id be remiss not to mention the utility of these mats, too. On the days that Im cooking inside, I use this mat in the oven. Baking cookies? Slap one of these bad boys down on the baking sheet and no more scraping burned cookie remnants off of the metal sheet. Cooking a roast? Put this on the bottom of the pan and presto! Clean up has never been easier. I even used the mat as a catch-all below a pie pan (no one likes when your whole man-lair (read: house and kitchen) smells like burned toast.Overall impression: Two man-thumbs up!

Furniture Repair Markers Kit

The markers are intensely colored and dry quickly, so you need to be light-handed when applying them and quick-handed when wiping the excess ink away. Just for reference, I used these markers extensively over a sealed white oak floor stained a very dark brown that had numerous scratches from a contractor who had a nail in his boot. (Thanks.) I used the mahogany marker primarily, but layered it over or under the lighter and darker markers to match the variations in color across the scratches. In a nutshell, these markers worked extremely well for the purpose. A very few scratches resisted the ink or just took on too much ink even when using the lightest color. (Be very careful using the cherry marker. It looks very red even dark wood.) Starting small and testing is wise.Because of their broad point, its easy to overstain the margins of a narrow scratch. Whenever I didnt remove the ink as fast as I applied it, the ink sealed itself to the wood and looked obvious. So, I learned to start off by testing a small portion of the scratch with the lightest color I thought would work and wiping the ink off immediately with a dry paper towel. I either went back over it with the same marker if the first pass proved to be too light, or shifted to a darker shade. I found that if I layered the colors (dark over light or light over dark), I could handily match most areas of the scratches. I discovered that I could remove or lessen the visual impact of ink that had been overdrawn on the margins of scratches simply by redrawing over the area and quickly wiping. Where Where the ink didnt come off entirely, it had the effect of feathering the color and making it look subtle. Again, this was on sealed, dark wood. Youd never have a hope of doing that to unsealed wood. It might work on sealed blond wood, but youd need to test and have fast hands. The wax for me was more trouble than it was worth, but I did manage to jam a lighter color than I needed into some of the deeper scratches (that took work) and then applied the lightest marker over that, gradually used darker markers (wiping as I went) to achieve the desired results. Endless combinations there—too many, frankly.All-in-all, pretty darn good. This product not only repairs nicks and scratches in wood and laminated products but is excellent for hiding the light exposed edge of veneers. This can dramatically improve the look of inexpensive laminated/veneered shelving, etc. I love these markers! Some Thoughts —These are really juicy markers - pretty wet compared to conventional markers. Theres a lot of stain in each one so you get good mileage out of each. This really offsets the whole issue of price vs not using all the colors. Also, the covers have a really positive snap fit - you have to push hard to click them closed but that should seal these up and keep them moist for a long time. Double check when you are done. The stain works best on unfinished/exposed wood (like the bottom of a scratch). Even fairly large unfinished areas take the stain uniformly without obvious striping from adjacent marker strokes. However, finished or non-absorbent surfaces are a little more problematic and are where quick smudging/blending with your thumb to feather the stain comes in.Veneer Edges —For dressing the edge of finishing veneers on corners, hold the broad side of the marker at a 45 degree angle to the two corner faces and leaning forward a bit and just swipe the length of the edge lightly. There will be minimum contact to either of the two faces adjacent to the corner and very little if any color feathering required.Removing Excess Stain —For hiding surface scratches the idea is to color the scratch but not the surrounding finished surface. This is virtually impossible considering the width of the marker tip, but its pretty easy to remove the excess stain since it turns out the marker stain is alcohol-soluble. I use Zeiss Lens Cleaning Wipes (available on Amazon). They are soaked in alcohol, are lint-free, and have a relatively hard surface that does not easily deform into scratches/nicks when wiping. They only stay moist for a couple of minutes, but thats workable. So - use the marker to make the color repair, then rub the alcohol wipe lightly over the repaired area to remove the excess surface stain but leave the stain in the scratch which is below the surface. Wipe perpendicular to the scratch (cross-ways not long-ways) so the wipe will tend to skip over the stain in the scratch. Dont press down since that will push the wipe into the damaged area and remove the stain that you want to keep. Done.Since the wipes remove the stain easily, even botched color matches, etc are easy to clean up for another try. The alcohol wipes work great on laminates but use care on unwaxed wood surfaces since alcohol can remove existing stain.Anyhow - the photos show a quickie 2 minute repair to a badly scratched laminated desktop using the lens wipe technique. This nasty scratch has been there for years and is now virtually invisible. Amazing results! This kit has several different colors for touch ups. Comes with markers and little crayons. The best part is you can match anything just by blending the colors together. We have lots of different wood on the house and in the last I have gone to the store and did my best to color match from a photo, come home and it didnt match. The price of this entire package is the price of two touch up pens from he store so it is definitely the better but. Lastly, this touches up cabinets, laminate, tables, frames, cabinets, bookshelves, flooring…you name it. Comes with 6 color markers and 5 filler sticks, with a sharpener. The markers are maple, walnut, mahogany, cherry, oak, and black. The filler sticks come in all colors except black. They get the job done. I attached a before and after photos of my coffee table. Used this on our dining room chairs, laminate flooring and our oak end table. The assortment of colors is the biggest plus for this product. Where needed to help blend in each color I used WD40 on a soft cloth and a very fine steel wool. The color I selected for the wood laminate matched perfectly. The dining chairs and end table needed some blending due to the wood grain. This kit is the best I have ever used. I highly recommend it.

Muh twin sisters always be bickerin and fightin. Maw and paw keep a tub of jello ready so theys could sort they differences out like proper ladies. By jello wrasslin. We prefer lime jello cuz of how it glistens, but red jello is always on sale at the piggly wiggly. To keeps the jello from stainin the carpet in our double wide, we lays down this paper under the wadin pool fulls of jello. This stuff works great! We also lay a track of it from the livin room to the front porch so wes could hose my sisters down after they done settlin they diffrinsis. Casey Lynn usually beats Bobby Sue, but its only because shes got her bested by 50 pounds. She really put on the weight after her 4th kid. We hopin the current pregnancy is kind to her..shes getting a little long in the tooth at 30 and the years aint been kind to her. Used this for table runners at my wedding! Awesome quality! Worked perfect!! If youre looking to move anytime in the future, I highly recommend picking up a roll of this kraft paper. I placed it across the main walkways throughout the house so that when people were walking in from outside and depositing boxes in the appropriate rooms, they were not tracking dust and dirt across the carpet. If you are going to use it on non-carpeted floors, be sure to tape it down with blue tape or you may trip on the curled edges. This also worked very well when it came to packing glassware or ceramics. A couple sheets of paper between each plate prevented movement and damage. The roll is easy to use, and the paper is sturdy enough for multiple people with heavy boxes to scuff along it without tearing. This is sturdy Kraft paper in a large roll that is easy to handle. I use it to line target backers at a shooting range for each practice session. Nice to start with a clean slate. The 18 inch width is perfect for my target stands and staples or tape hold it on well, even in windy conditions. Inexpensive enough to just tear off and discard at the end of each session. Easy to cut lengths from the roll to meet my needs. I will be purchasing more of this. I use this to fill in empty areas in packages that will be going through the mail. Works well! Easy to tear and crumble as needed, not so thick that I have to use scissors. Good product! Its great for gift wrapping. I havent tried it for other purposes yet. Just what I was looking for — brown wrapping Paper for mailing items. Perfect! The word jumbo should have given me a clue, but I needed a roll of wrapping paper for items to be mailed. I have a small house and usually kept the rolls of wrapping paper under my hutch. The only place where the roll fits now is to the side of my hutch with the tape on top. To use it will probably feel like wrestling with a dinosaur. As I asked in the headline, who needs a jumbo kraft paper roll. Manufacturers should take potential clients into consideration.

Very bright and works very good with the music Did not install as directed since hiding the wire under the inner rocker panel would have been near impossible in my 2006 Chevrolet Avalanche, so I installed the plug/and remote control up front then put the first set of LED strips under the driver/passenger dash and ran the wires under the console to the rear and zip-tied the led strips to a support bar underneath the seats (full power adjustable seats mean there is no save or secure place to mount the strips otherwise. They look great during the day and incredible at night, I like how the brightness is adjustable on the remote, which does everything I want it to.If you want different colors or custom lighting then download the app, having been burnt by apps that go along with things like drones or action cameras, I wasnt expecting much but the govee home app is not bad, setup was a breeze and customizing the lighting was also quick and easy. Exactly what I was looking for and more! The color can be consistently on, strobe, or play along to music. Get in, were rockin! Exactly what I was looking for! Such a fun accessory to my Wrangler. Can be controlled by the app on your phone or the control switches. Has various different modes you can set including sensitivity to music - which is super fun. Very satisfied! ayeee!!! the lights are great!! i had a little dilemma when installing them because i got confused but after that it was smooth sailing. I also had a problem with one of the strips. I pulled the strip and the lights slide out the tube they come in. I use my warranty for that but idk yet. Ill see how long it holds up for. Other than that great product. That look bright in the day time so i cant wait to see them at night. the video i used was with music playing from the radio Worked well . I bought these for when I take my Jeep on the beach the inside of the car could light up for my kids I thought it would be neat. I just ordered another set for more lights in the car as well. Super easy to install, got done in 10mins. Did install in day time so had to wait till dark to actually see how bright are the lights. And was surprised to see the result later that day as they were just perfect. Super easy to pair with phone app as well. Over all a product worth the money. This product is really cool! Its worth the purchase. I dont usually leave more than just a rating, but I felt the need to add video with this product. Beware there are pros AND cons.Pros:Super easy to install!App interface is intuitiveWires are easily hiddenApplication, with full light spectrum and effects.Fits my Beetle 2.0T Coast perfectly!Cons:I drive a compact vehicle, something like a crossover is too big for this set up. Smaller sedans should be fine, I had to tuck away excess cables. The music setting. Playing with the microphone sensitivity setting is a must for the music setting. With rock music the mic switches from vocals to bass, depending on which one is prominent. With hip-hop/pop it typically sticks to the bass, as seen in the video. If I can, Ill add videos of different genres later.Light strips are smaller than what the advertisements lead you to believeSlight odor when you first open the package. Clears up fast.

I have been using this for about a week and havent had any problems at all. I like how compact it is, yet the screen is big enough to see what the camera sees. I was able to easily hide the wire and it was even longer than needed which helped me choose any place that I liked to hang up the camera. Easily detachable to take the camera off. Video quality is clear and you are able to easily see licence plates. Upon receiving this camera, the first thing I noticed was that the package seemed to have been previously opened, and poorly repacked. This is never a good sign.I used the included charging cable, and charged this up for a little more than 4 hours before I tested it out. I connected the suction camera holder, popped in an SD card and tried powering it on. The screen lit up, but after a few seconds it went dark again. I tried the various buttons on the side, and nothing seemed to work. The blue power light had powered off. I powered it back on, and again it powered itself off after a few seconds. At this point I considered that I might not have charged it long enough. The instructions are very basic and seem like they are translated from Chinese, and there wasnt any mention of charging time. So I tried charging it overnight for about 14 hours this time. Same result, powers off after a few seconds.Maybe I just got one with a defective battery, Im not sure. I will update this review if I hear back from the seller, or if I am able to test a new working one. (If you found this review to be informative and/or helpful, please click Helpful to let me know. Thanks! ) This is an excellent product. Im buying a second one for my wifes car So far, so good! I hope I never need the camera footage! I love the camera. It looks really nice, and works well.My only problem is the so-called instructions. They are REALLY poorly translated from Chinese, to the point of some paragraphs being completely incomprehensible. And the instructions are WAY too minimal. Anybody up for studying how the camera operates, how the features work, and writing a decent instruction manual?? 😁 This product is an addition to my insurance policy. It is a great help when someone dings my car and starts pointing I did it. California is famous for insurance scams involving accidents Im not paranoid just careful. Plus I want a memory card. Small enough to put in front of mirror not intrusive. Beautiful 1080p with auto correct. Easy to set up and it automatic once set up you dont have to think about it again unless you need it one of my best buys When I received this camera and unpacked it I was totally impressed, the quality is super for the price. Works great and very easy to use and understand. I give this product a 10. If you need a car cam this is it.
