This stainless steel scale works really well for us. For the price you cant beat it.If you cook and bake a lot like we do, the scale helps achieve an accurate measurement. Its super convenient when a recipe calls for an ingredient in grams and you dont have the tools to measure, this scale is simple to use and accurate. In our video you can see it turns on quickly. You can change the unit while the item is on the scale. And it turns off within seconds.Weve used this scale many times over the last few years and we are still using the same AAA batteries it came with. The small grips on the bottom of the scale are nice to have.Overall its a great scale and even better price! Bought this scale to weigh my litter of puppies. Its fantastic so far. I just put a plate on it, tare the plate, and then set a puppy on it. Works like a charm. Would definitely recommend it. Plus its very nice looking. Great for the kitchen if thats what youre buying it for. This scale is terrible. It is true, you get what you pay for and I only paid $8. The weight reading continues to move up and down. I used a calibrated scale side by side and weighed 4 grams. This scale went back and forth from 3-5 while the other one gave exactly 4. Honestly wish I had spent a little extra money on a better scale. I work in law enforcement and need more precise weights than +/- 1. Edit 5/9/19 - So the seller asked if I would receive a new unit at this point to see if they could take care of the original issues I had with the first product. This unit seems to have fixed all of my original issues with the product over the past 2 weeks. They went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied. I would recommend.Original review - I meal prep and I bought this to weigh out all my food for the entire week and then cook. The one day I cook a week I use this scale for maybe a half-hour in total on time. I turn it off and then the next week I go to turn it on the batteries are dead. Ive changed the batteries everytime I use it essentially. This thing drains the battery even when not in use. Easy to use, pretty accurate scale, love the way it looks (very sleek and easy to clean since its a stainless steel top)The only issue i had is looking at the actual read out… Since the entire thing is pretty flat on the top, if you place any sort of decent sized bowl or plate, it completely obstructs the digital screen. You end up having to see if you can push back the bowl and get a look at while bending over to look under the curve of the bowl or placing a thinner box and the plate or bowl on top of the box.Honestly the scale would have been 5 stars but the fact you cant see the display without going through a mission is pretty annoying.EDIT: After giving it 3 stars Etekcity contacted me to let me know that they had a larger version and sent it free of charge, it was the Etekcity Digital Kitchen Scale Multifunction Food Scale with 30% Wider Platform 11lb 5kg, 3 GP Batteries Included (Stainless Steel), which pretty much negates the issue I mentioned above. And after I looked it up they have a newer version of the one I was sent that has the read out to the side which seems even more practical. For customer service alone, I had to raise my initial 3 stars to four! I just recently received this beautiful and most of all easy to use kitchen scale by Etekcity! This scale was extremely accurate and precise. When measuring cooking ingredients, I was relieved to know that the digital scale did not become imprecise, meaning bouncing back and forth between decimal points despite the unit changes when shifting to and from grams, ounces, and milliliters. Overall, the scale could also virtually fit anywhere in a kitchen (I.e., kitchen drawer, cabinet, on the counter etc.) In addition, the scale is quite nicely made and I suspect that it will be very durable and last me a long time! I considered long and hard about how to rate this product. It is designed to do one thing, weigh small amounts of food. It is aesthetically designed well. And that is as far as it goes in delivering on its intended function. The tare or zero function is coupled to the measuring function. Meaning, when you put a dish on the scale then zero the display, the resulting value will include the weight of your finger pushing the button. The product fails to do what it is advertised to do; accurately measure the weight of food. The designer must not be an engineer. I would recommend another product to weigh food. I will be returning this and finding a better product. When I do I will update this review with my findings. (I gave it two stars because. It looks nice) Not sensitive to low weights. The scale is almost useless for measuring out spices and yeast and other items which are in the low single digits of grams. You can only work around it by putting something heavy on the scale (like a plate), then putting the measuring paper on top of that and then pouring on the ingredient. The last scale I bought from Amazon did not have this problem. The scale is also grossly imprecise, on the order of 10-20%. This can be tested easily - put a cup on the scale and measure a significant amount of ingredients, say 14 grams of salt and 6 grams of sugar. Remove the cup and put a different cup on the scale, tare the weight, then pour in what should be 20 grams from the first cup. It will come out WAY different. This scale is basically trash. The last scale I bought from amazon was routinely accurate to within 1%.

UPDATE 2: Down from 4 to 1 stars! Ive had the unit for a little over a year now and it constantly leaks. It has ruined my nightstand. I finally figured out the leak is coming from the water tank along the edge that meets the bottom of the container. I noticed there is mold growing inside the seal as well, which cant be cleaned out. Im so fed up with this machine and have purchased a different unit. Im not sure how this has such a great review ratings when so many people have issues with it leaking. Save your money and buy a different one!UPDATE: Ive had the unit now for a little over 2 months and use it daily. Recently the unit has started to randomly leak on my night stand. It doesnt happen all the time, but maybe once a week. I have no idea where the water is leaking from.So far so good! Due to the air being so dry this winter, my throat and sinuses have been drying out. I bought this to help moisten the air while I sleep. After the first night I could tell a difference in the air and my throat felt so much better. Ive turn it on when I get home from work and keep it on until I leave the house again. Its easy to use and fill. Once filled, the tank lasts for about two days when on the lower speed and probably about a day when left on the high speed. There is a nightlight feature which can be turned on and off. My only issue as of right is the on light is fairly bright and stays on so long as the machine is in use. I placed a piece of tape over the on button and it helps, but the light illuminates through the tank. Its not a deal breaker, but I prefer to sleep in pitch black and little lights tend to bother me after awhile. I have yet to clean the tank, but I did find the small cleaning brush in the box. After a week in, Im fairly pleased with this humidifier. For the price, I find it works well. We bought this item due to its high rating. We paid additional to have it next day. Upon arrival, the item had clearly been opened. The box had been taped back closed, the humidifier was not wrapped in plastic and the cord was simply throw in amongst the items. Additionally, no product information or user manual existed. The humidifier did not work correctly from the moment we attempted to use it. The power button would only blink red. A quick google search revealed this was to indicate there was no water. Some tinkering and I managed to get the unit to work, briefly, by manipulating the float. I could not get it to operate for more than 2-3 mins without shutting down. I would not recommend this product due in small part to the fact Amazon sold me what I can assume was a returned product, which didnt work. And in large part because the product is priced similarly to other manufacturers that Ive had better luck with in the past. First time everything worked great, filled up tank second time and all the water from tank all ran out all over the furniture and carpet. I insured it was set up exactly like the instructions. My first instinct is to call the company but if it does that once, it can happen again all over the place. Ive been usin humidifiers for years and never ever had this happen to me. I doubled checked everything, still overflowed. Im sending it back tomorrow. For weeks I have been waking up in the middle of the night. I would have trouble with my nasal passages being so dry and congested I would be forced awake to clear my nose. The winter months, the heater would dry the air. Now the warmer months the fan and AC do the same. The first night of using a humidifier for the first time showed a little improvement in my dryness and allowed me to sleep mostly uninterrupted. Now on the 3rd night I didnt have any sleep interruptions at all. My nasal passages have remained clear. I also have reduced my frequency of waking with a headache and my eye stopped twitching (due to my extreme sleep deprivation).I keep the unit on my bedside table and fill up the unit reservoir 2 times a day. I run it on the highest setting from around 2pm, the time I get home from work and this lasts until 9pm when I fill the tank before bed. When I wake up there is still 1/3 the supply of water left in the tank. This humidifier was very easy to set up. Just fill with water and push the button. No assembly required. It has 4 settings that produce high/low volumes of mist with various states of blue LED illumination. The blue led light is very bright but calming to use during a darkened afternoon nap. I use the high mist/no light setting number 4 during my full nights rest. The touch control power/mode button illuminates a very bright blue and could be a concern for people that need absolute darkness during sleep. I noticed that it was too bright the first night and had to reposition the unit. I was able to turn the unit so the blue light faces away from me so it is not a distraction anymore.I really like having this humidifier and I hope it lasts a long time. Its only been a week and I plan on running it continuously for the foreseeable future. If it breaks I would buy a new one. This is a nice little humidifier if you have a small room. I purchased both this and the XL after reading the reviews. The regular is for a room max of 250 sq ft, and the XL is for a room of up to 500 sq ft. In my own opinion, the smaller humidifier would be better for a room size of about 150 sq feet. It only has two speed settings and on the high setting will have to make sure it is full to get through most of the night. The tank doesnt hold much water. The plus is that it is easy to fill and is very quiet. Im using it all day and night, but on the low setting, or Ill be filling it all the time. I think if I had to buy another I would pick the XL size since it was only $20 more, and I dont plan to place it on a night stand, since mine are made of wood. Ive included a photo of the two side by side. Note the plug is different on the small one as well.

So this product seems to be advertised to keep the heat and suns harmful rays off of your kids riding in the car, but I dont have kids at home anymore. I ordered these for myself, for those drives where it seems that the sun is directly shining in my eyes from the drivers door window. The 21 x 14 size pretty well covers my entire SUV window. It is easy to see through, so that it does not impact my ability to see others on the road. It is easy to put on the window and pull off the window. It clings and sticks where I put it, but also lifts back up easily.I wish I knew if it was legal to put this on my front windshield for those sunrise and sundown commutes where the sun is blinding. Ill have to find out.I do wish they came in smaller sizes so that the shade could function as a visor extension. Maybe even just small circles to block the sun when its directly in my eyes. These sun shades are the BEST! I have 2 boys and with my first we tried every sun shade possible and we absolutely hated them ALL!!!! I didnt even buy sun shades in preparation for the arrival of our youngest son as I never found one I liked! However, the sun beaming in on his face obviously became a problem so I found these on Amazon and decided to try them. Im so happy I did as they are great! They go right onto the window and can be removed and reapplied without a problem! It also can fold back up and fit into the nice like bag they provide. And a huge feature for me or anyone who accidentally rolls down their back windows, they dont pop off if you roll the window down a bit!! You can also still see out the window especially when I have to glance in my blind spots (as I have one one each back window). I recommend this to all parents or anyone looking for window shades! They fit on my Ford Escape windows and my husbands Ford F-150 XLT! Please trust me and dont waste money on the crap they sell in Baby stores! I have these for both my own vehicle and my husbands. The 4 pack is perfect because we got two for each back seat. I have a 4-door sedan and he drives a mid-size SUV and these work for both. I wanted something simple to throw up and take down when not in use and these fit the bill. They cling right to the window with a quick press and you just peel them right down, give them a twist and can store them away in the back seat pocket or a trunk organizer. I also like that these are pretty plain… I didnt want prints, pulleys or suction cups and these are as straight forward as them come. They look good on the windows because of that. The shades block the bright sunlight well, actually cover the window (a lot of them dont) and stay on even when opening/closing doors. I bought these shades for my Semi for those days that the sun is on my driver side, you can see thru the mesh fairly easy and i love i can fold up and put into the little bag it came with, will recomend. It fits to my honda accord car window glass perfectly.very easy to fit since it has sticky black coloured side which should attach to the glass.Really protecs from sunlight.See through filter so that we can see sides of the road through this but with slightly dull color.overall very nice These are the best window shades Ive had to dim the suns rays from my 16-month old. Ive had the rectangular vinyl shade that bubbles; the pull down that hangs from the top of the window with the suction cup to hold it down in place at the bottom only for the suction cup to lose its effectiveness over time; and the rectangular shade that has 2 suction cups to hold it onto the window only for it to often fall on the floor. This shade clings to the window so easily and you can use more than one to overlap for extra coverage. They do not obstruct my view when driving (shes on the drivers side since my oldest child is on the passenger side). I use mine in a 2017 Nissan Pathfinder. No more sun in my sweeties eyes! I like these sun shades. Sun shades are nothing to get excited about, but these do the trick just fine. I did not want to purchase the roller type sun shades as I would be paranoid in a car accident these would become a safety hazard. These sun shades do not have any hard plastic or metal on them at all. I am not worried about them causing much injury if for some reason they would get dislodged in a car accident. I drive a 2014 VW Passat and these shades JUST barely fit on my back windows. I have to sneak the bottom corner down into the window seal in order to get them to fit. They still do not seal 100% but they have been attached to my window for about a month, and seem to be hanging in just fine. I only had the product 4 weeks with minimal use and already on two of the four screens the plastic that adheres to the window is tearing away from the mesh.

I decided to buy this umbrella after my previous cheap umbrella cut my finger while opening it. I loved that this umbrella has a lifetime replacement warranty. That factored heavily into my purchase. We bought these for our Summer trip to Ireland/England, since both tend to have weather changes throughout the day. We only used them for one day in Ireland. It wasnt extreme weather, but it was a consistent heavy drizzle with occasional gusts. We did see others on our excursion with destroyed umbrellas (though I didnt think the wind was THAT strong). The wind did occasionally invert the outer portion of the canopy, but never did I think the umbrella would fail. The skeleton/frame seemed very strong. Directing the top of the umbrella back in the direction of the wind put it back into place easily.I was really impressed with the Teflon coating, as the canopy did not get soaked through. The droplets stayed pooled on top of the fabric and I was able to easily shake them off.I also like the push button open/close. Easy to use and easy to put the cover back on the closed umbrella. Highly recommend. So some back story… I had a couple cheap umbrellas lying around the house. I had one from over 10 years ago, worked good enough. However a few months ago the wind was so strong it broke the shaft in half between the handle and the top part. Was not happy, but had another cheap umbrella I bought in Amsterdam for 5 euros. The wind over there broke the support beams on the side, but worked enough to get around. About a week ago it finally gave out completely so I did what any person does these days, look online for reviews. After a little bit of research, this umbrella was the winner. People say it will survive heavy winds and is portable enough to carry around in my backpack. Also the piece of mind of a lifetime guarantee sold me on the product.Got the umbrella a couple days ago and got a friendly message from the support team making sure I received the product as well as checking to make sure I am completely happy with the product. Definitely nice to see a company care about their products.Woke up this morning to rain outside. It wasnt windy, but raining enough to give this umbrella a test drive. I walked outside for around 20 minutes this morning in the rain and heres what I noticed:Completely dry after walking aroundWith a slight breeze, I didnt notice any issuesWhen going inside I did a quick spin of the umbrella and the canopy appears mostly dry except for a little condensation of portion that is folded over, which surprised me how much the material repels the waterOverall so far I am impressed. :-) Great product and even better customer service! Havent had to use this yet but Im traveling to Florida and the weather is calling for rain all week. I do like the fact that it opens when you push the button, but it also closes when you push it. All you have to do is push the handle back in! The product fully corresponds to the description. Excellent quality in good condition. Very comfortable and pleasant to touch handle.I recommend everyone this seller and his product - No. 1 in this category from Amazon (as of July 17, 2017)In my photo you can see the quality of the handle and the design of the spokes at the umbrella I really like this umbrella. It is sturdy, it can be opened or closed with just a press and more importantly, almost instant dry by just shaking. But minor problem. After several uses, there is already a rusted screw and rust forming on the inner, uncoated part of ribs, under the fabric. I dont know how water get there, probably because of the moisture. I get that iron is cheap, yet sturdy. But definitely not the best material for something that will likely get in contact with water regularly or something that will be used during rainy weather. Cant really complain tho due since the price is reallty affordable. Conclusion: Almost perfect umbrella, wouldve rated 4 stars, but 5 stars instead because of the price. I read about the Repel Easy Touch umbrella on a website that tests consumer products. Of the many umbrellas tested, this came out on top. After ordering and examining it, I can say with confidence that it is sturdily built with quality materials. It opens & closes with satisfying authority. The handle is dimpled & comfortable to hold. The fabric is treated with teflon, so it sheds rain. The canopy provides enough coverage, so youll be well protected from the elements. Ive spent twice as much on a German-designed umbrella, that was also well built, & this umbrella is its equal in nearly every respect. Note: It has a little weight to it, & the heavy duty spring might make it a challenge for the elderly to close. Beyond that, what more could you want in an umbrella?

Let me start by saying that my original Bullet lasted 14 (!) years!!!! It was awesome and I loved it, using it constantly for smoothies (yes, frozen fruit). I couldnt even complain when it finally died after such a long life. So I immediately bought a second one. It felt different from my old one, it was more plastic and flimsier than my old one. I used it exactly the way I used my old one and for the same type foods, mostly smoothies. It quit after only two months, the gears stripping and sending tiny black pieces of plastic into my food and an oily residue from the motor onto my counter. Unfortunately it was too late to send it back, so I wrote to the seller to no avail, never heard a word. I tossed it out. I thought perhaps I had just gotten a lemon and decided to try again. I bought a third one. This one set a new record …broke on the second use! Are you kidding me? Again, the gears stripped and it sent up a smelly oily puff of smoke. I cant believe that TWO of these things quit after such a short time after my last one lasted for so many years. This is most definitely NOT the same as they used to be. I am returning it today (thanks Amazon!), and will not buy another ever. Anyone care to recommend a small blender that can do what it promises? sheesh. This is pretty much exactly what I expected when I bought it: a better-than-average representative of the cheaper drink blenders. I bought this one rather than the cheaper ones because its possible to get replacement cups and blades for it and I do lose things, not because I expected it to be strong/faster/better than its competition.Theres no point in buying this if you want an all-purpose blender. The whole reason for this is that it has excellent design for blending shakes/drinks. Its very cleverly designed to be easy to use and - really important - easy to clean. Its not super powerful. It doesnt even handle my frozen strawberries well right out of the freezer, and I certainly wouldnt give it normal-sized ice cubes. (After it failed to fully process the frozen strawberries, I didnt even bother trying ice.) I also havent tried it with anything without liquid, so I dont know how it would do for grinding or pureeing. I would probably use other tools for those purposes. But for shakes, fresh fruit, half-thawed frozen fruit, and similar things, it does a fine job.If I wanted a great blender, Id pay 2-3 times as much and get something that was 900 watts instead of 300, sharper blades, and a stronger motor. But I didnt want to spend 2-3 times as much, and Im satisfied with what I got for the price. After reading reviews, I feel fairly confident that I chose the right one in its price range. The Magic Bullet blender did not live up to our expectations. We bought it to make smoothies from frozen fruit, yogurt, and water/juice. We also tried making a smoothie with fresh fruits, vegetables, water, and ice. Even after breaking up the ice cubes into smaller pieces the magic bullet blender could not pulverize the ice to make it drinkable. When making the frozen fruit smoothies with yogurt, the contents never fully blended together. We had to constantly take the cup off the blender and stir or shake it to distribute the contents adequately. The instructions say to not let the blender run for more than 60 seconds or it may overheat; there is absolutely no way this blender will make a smoothie in less than sixty seconds if you are using either frozen fruit or ice as it just doesnt have the power the chop up the frozen ingredients. I would definitely not recommend this product. Do NOT buy this if you wish to make smoothies… This thing does horrible with ice… it takes me at least 5-10 minutes to make an 8oz smoothie because the blade is not sharp enough to cut the ice. I had a Nutri Bullet that all of a sudden stopped working so I purchased this as an inexpensive replacement.- if you are expecting a Nutri Bullet, this is not an exact replacement! It is much smaller and clearly not as strong of a motor- if you are looking for an inexpensive blender to make smoothies or shakes, this will be perfect- it can blend a few ice cubes with, say, a banana, some PB, and milk, pretty easily. Any more than that and I could see the motor dying quicklyOther than that, I say its worth what you pay and its a great small blender for making smoothies Blender has been probably used <10 times in the last 2 months.started making hiss noise and can smell as if something is burning.Such a cheap product. dont buy this i can only operate the item today and that s*** is burned, almost burn me actually Initially, i was happy with the purchase- BUT after using this for 8 months, i started seeing the blade wobbling and vibrating randomly while spinning and making a lot of noise. This is when all the problems started .Update: i year now since i bought and used this, the blade became too lose, couldnt be fixed by tightening the screws. I even opened the blender blades housing, cleaned the junk around the blades and put them back but it would start again after 1 minute of rotation.,Now the blender is lying in the storeroom and gathering dust and is unusable. i am going with a different brand now whose quality is much better around the same price point.Overall, the blenders quality is good except the main workhorse where it should have been better BUT is NOT!!

Ordered a 12 month subscription (10 mags) on 1/11/2017. Only got maybe 5 magazines before I was charged for a second yearly subscription only 10 months later 11/11/2017 for over twice as much! What a hassle to cancel it!!! Wonder if I will even get the rest of my subscription… Hearst Mags Sucks!!!! I used to love this magazine and have back issues Ive saved for the recipes. Lately this magazine is going WAY downhill. I used to be able to plan a week or more of dinners just with this magazine every month. Now Im lucky if there are 2 recipes I want to try. Content is hard to find amoung the adds, stupid articles about celebrity chefs, ridiculously elaborate fluff recipes (think a cake that looks like a ceaser salad, fairy toast, and the latest- candy mixes in your teams colors!) If you truly love to cook and love to challenge yourself look elsewhere. This is a magazine for people qho are either just starting out cooking, or arent looking for a challenge in the kitchen. I have a problem with having my account charged for something I didnt intend to buy. I signed up for a 1 year subscription magazine as a gift for my Mom that I cancelled to find out Ive continued to pay for the kindle edition that I didnt even know I was signed up for. I will be sure to leave a good word for you guys to family and friends. Find another way to do business. Great magazine, especially given the $5 price tag. Its jam packed with goodness. I like the Readers Best tips - advice given to other cooks from various readers. Usually theres a writeup about specific items with different stars posting their favorite recipes (for example: All-Star Spreads was a page listing 5 famous chefs favorite condiments and accompanying recipes.). Its not just about food, either. There are beautiful pictures showing before/after kitchen remodels and must-have kitchen appliances and gadgets. My 12-year old daughter loves the Name that Dish page that comes at the end of every issue. Its a yummy recipe that readers get to name and prizes given out to the ones who win. My favorite part, of course, is the abundance of recipes in every issue. Ive found a ton of new things to try…from soups to cocktails and everything in between. Many of the recipes are basic enough that I have the ingredients at home. Others are more gourmet and require a bit more prep and shopping. Theres something for everyone in this magazine - especially if youre a foodie like me!For those worried about automatic renewal at a higher price, the solution is simple. Simply go to your account and look under Membership and Subscriptions. Find Print Magazines. Once selected, you will see all of your current magazine subscriptions and when they will be renewed at the lowest Amazon price. All you have to do is turn off the auto-renewal setting by selecting auto-renewal settings and turn off. Easy peasy! I love the magazine. My issue is that Hearst doesnt ship it in the clear, protective wrap. It comes mangled. The 3rd issue was torn up and creased horribly. It looked like someone stomped on it. I have ordered it before and it came protected it. Major let down. Im not renewing due to this. Who wants to pay for an item that comes looking like it came out of a garbage can? I was expecting more of a cooking magazine with regular recipes. These recipes dont really fit my needs. They tend to require ingredients I dont normally use or have on hand. Also, I am not interested in reading about what celebrities cook or eat. I will not renew my subscription because this magazine just isnt for me. Apparently the entire world (except me) thinks all recipes should contain peppers and cilantro, both of which I dont like. I dont watch cooking shows so I dont care who these people are, how their homes are decorated, etc. Unfortunately the magazine is loaded with all the above. I have yet to try a recipe thats Im excited about after a year subscription, but then I havent tried a lot. Only cost $5 but I wont buy it again. I have been reading these since the first issue and I have every single one of them on both my kindle and in paper form. Why? They are good enough that I want to hold onto them for the long haul. My family and I have gone back through magazines even years down the line looking for recipes to use again. Especially the holiday issues. Even if I cancel all of my other subscriptions: I will keep this one no matter what!

I bought this as a gift for my daughter who is in a dance club in high school who records herself dancing to help with her moves. God forbid she lets us watch :) I used it a couple times to record feeding the baby new foods when my wife wasnt home so she can see his reaction, like when he ate fruit for the first time in his life. Its sturdy, has many options for connections like my cannon camera, or my daughters cell phone that she prefers to use for making videos. We used this for Christmas even to record opening gift and take pictures of our reactions, I was using the blue-tooth remote, but it stopped working midway. I contacted the seller, and they immediately sent a replacement and I received it right away, and it worked great. Very happy, sometimes it can be the little thing that make your life a little easier that can make you happy, and a company you can trust in case you need help. Very happy. The Bluetooth fob paired easily to my phone and works great. It also grips well to our phones… Not flimsy. My kids use it as a selfie stick, but I used it a couple of times for family portraits and they turned out beautifully. No stress of running from the camera back to the group. I was pleasantly surprised with how portable this product was! I love the fact that I can keep it in my purse, or place it in the diaper bag to use at a moments notice. I love the fact that it has a remote also…living in an area that has 4 seasons, you never know when the leaves will be the perfect fall colors to capture as a backdrop for a family photo, or a cute photo of the kids. It is also very user friendly. Since having this product, I am finding myself included in photos with my family, instead of being the one behind the camera. I wish the legs had a tension adjustment; it doesnt seem to be a problem, but the legs swivel in and out very easily; I wonder if they might get looser. The Alloy Platform seems somewhat redundant to me. The tripod alone is usually enough for me, but the screw is much longer than the screw on the alloy platform, so it pokes into the phone gripping pad on the phone holder, interfering with its grip. I will either add washers, or saw off the extra length. The remote paired almost instantly to my Android phone, but the iPhone SE would not. Then I realized that it worked fine when I turned off the Bluetooth on my Android. The Smartphone Holder is not deep enough to use on my OnePlus 6T with a Sucnakp TPU Shock Absorption Technology Raised Bezels Protective Case, which is a quite thick case. If I put the holder over the screen instead of the back of the case it works fine, just obscuring a portion of the screen; seems to work fine this way.I added a bag to this kit as a gift, which might be a nice addition, but the tripod alone with the remote lanyard looped on a tripod leg, keeps things together if youre not using the alloy platform. Cant wait to use this piece. Ive been messing about with it and the legs are very sturdy and bend easily, much better than a previous tripod I had. Word to everyone - it is a MINI tripod, but it works good for what its needed for. Who else hates asking strangers to take your photo?? I do… lol. I can definitely see myself wrapping it around a fence or tree branch while hiking or traveling to get some good photos. Im also hoping to use it to record videos of priceless moments. Theres so many different attachments that can bear different weights so I cant see how any camera/phone device cant cooperate. Im really glad I made this purchase on a whim. Itll be in my backpack as an essential for good now! I was looking for something like this for my online homebased network marketing business. I needed something to hold my phone for live videos on social media, something that was sturdy and stable, but I could easily carry with me if need be. This works perfectly! I have even used it to take family fall pictures with my phone!! it is super easy to assemble, learn the functionality of, and use. would recommend this product to anyone!! especially my fellow network marketers that are looking for something small so they can use it on the go or at home without the hassle of a large tripod that takes up a ton of room no matter if it is in use or not. I was so excited to receive this item for my blogging experience on the go. It came very well packaged but once I used the phone holder, the screw wouldnt lock into place, hold the phone up right without loosening and eventually just falls out of place. I was excited for this. Would not recommend. There are so many things that I absolutely love anout this phone tripod. It is awesomely sturdy. VERY VERY easy to put together. In no way would it take you three hours. I own a ZTE BLADE MAX PRO and it holds the phone very tightly. The legs on this item is totally awesome. Im totally in love and will ABSOLUTELY buy it again if in need. The setup of the Bluetooth remote may not be compatible with all phones (for an example…my phone isnt) so they provide you with a Google app called Camera 360 and boy! I had a ball with that app. You can have loads of fun and funny moments. Im very happy I did the research on this tripod and made a purchasing decision.
