Got Echo Show as gift from my son last Christmas. At first we had it in our bedroom but after realizing that Alexa is watching and listening to us all the time we decided to place our Echo Show in our living room. I have also installed smart switches and plugs to control lights in various parts of the house and also paired the Echo with different bluetooth speakers. The problem is I have to go near the Echo to give Alexa the command. If I want to listen to music in our bedroom I have to go out of our room and be near Alexa to ask her to play music and switch to bluetooth speaker In our bedroom. Now with Alexa Voice Remote I can give command while Im on bed. To make sure Alexa is listening first command is to ask her to connect to bluetooth speaker on my bedside table or to my TV soundbar (need to call out specific speaker name that was registered in Echo during tha pairing process). From then on I can talk to Alexa as if Echo is my side and I dont have to worry that Alexa is listening coz you need to press talk button for Alexa to hear you (lol). By the way, the instruction that comes with the Alexa Voice does not include pairing with Echo Show and so for a moment Ithought it was made to Echo and Echo Dot only and will not work on Echo Show but It did not take long for me to find the instruction from Amazon Device Support. Im truly happy with this purchase. this thing is a useless lump… IF YOU WANT MULTIROOM AUDIO CONTROL. hear me out. you pair it with one Echo (as the website says). no problem. you start multiroom audio (either from the voice remote, by shouting at alexa or from another room whatever). as SOON as you start multiroom audio the echo this remote is paired with… DISCONNECTS the remote. you cant even change volume, let alone stop or change audio. NO WHERE does it say this on this ad, or in amazon help. amazon support says this is considered controlling multiple devices and isnt supported. throwing it in a drawer since i didnt keep the box. This will be my 4th… YES FOURTH remote I had to re-purchase after the other ones stopped working(all in 2017!!!). If you check all the negative reviews I have had all of the same problems. 1-The voice remote button stopped working 2-the mic button works, but alexa never answers 3-the entire remote stopped working (when I inserted new batteries the remote started to get warm…I thought it was going to start a fire). The only reason why I keep getting new remotes is because the brick and mortar amazon store is around the corner from my job and keeps allowing me to exchange/return at no cost. The voice remote is a device that has become part of my every day and I find I cannot be without it. From working out in a different room from my echo dot to streaming music in an outhouse and outdoors its VERY convenient and useful. Amazon…please if you are reading this FIX THE PROBLEMS ONCE AND FOR ALL. I am not rough with these remotes. I do not perspire on these remotes…I have not dropped the remotes…they are not durable. Please address these issues at your next meeting!!! This hasnt worked for me. I have several Amazon dots and Echo devises, and am generally very impressed with their design and operation. However, while the dot I have installed with an outdoor audio system works seamlessly when I speak to it directly, when I use the Alexa voice remote it doesnt recognize 90% of my music requests from my extensive Amazon Prime library. It will recognize generic requests such as play Beethoven, Jazz, etc.), but if I request a specific artist, song, or album from one of the 3,000+ albums in my Prime Music library it invariably fails, and pulls up something completely unrelated to my request, or tries to direct me to Pandora. I dont write many reviews unless the product in question is extremely bad or extraordinarily good. In this case I am happy to say this was the later. If you enjoy playing with you echo dot, But find yourself screaming to get alexa to stop, you will love this remote. If you hooked your echo dot to a big home stereo and use it like a voice activated jukebox (only way better!!!) you will love this remote. The range is awesome it goes through all the walls in my house. I can turn off the lights in my bedroom by voice even though the echo dot is in the front room. You just have to remember that when you use the remote you do not have to say the trigger Alexa just push the button with the microphone icon on it hold it down for a second so that it has time to trigger the dot, and say Play Led Zepplin stairway to heaven or whatever you desire to do. Or whatever wifi things you have configured for your echo. I have tplink lights in several rooms so I can just say my bedroom off or my bedroom on etc. Plus the remote has a pause fast forward play and rewind on it so if you are playing your song library you can just hit pause or go to the next song with it or hit the mic button and say next. I think the negative reviews I have read in the past were because people did not understand how it works

My wife likes to read novels that she downloads from Amazon onto her Samsung tablet. She keeps the tablet by her recliner and plugs it into a charger on the wall behind her recliner. We have two Pit Bull dogs. One likes to run around behind the furniture. This dog got caught in the charging cord from my wifes tablet and jerked it off into the floor. This ruined the charging port in the tablet and it could not be repaired. To help prevent this on the new tablet I bought my wife, I got this very nice power strip. The heavy braided cord lays flat on the floor so the dog doesnt get caught in it. I positioned the power strip on the floor between my wifes chair and a coffee table. Theres no need for a charger since this power strip as high-powered USB ports built in. I just plugged in a charging cable and my wife is ready to go. And it works great. I tried to use it for the first time and the USB ports didnt work. Only the 110 plugs would work. Very disappointed Its looks very beautiful on my computer desk. I like the fact that it has 3 USB ports which always comes in handy along with the fact that it has 3 outlets which should have me prepared for just about anything! Im very happy with this purchase it looks like itll last a very long time the cable Braided and the device all around looks very solid. Especially at this price its a great buy The only outlet near my main workstation at home is behind my desk. This makes it difficult to plug in items I use and dont like to keep plugged in when not in use, like my electric kettle. This power strip solves that problem nicely and looks nice, too.I also like that it has the USB ports. I can charge my tablet or phone if needed and still have them handy.Im glad I bought this! I ordered this power strip to make the most out of my overcrowded outlets. The USB outlets are really convenient as well. I like the fact that I can power both corded appliances and USB ones without having a long power strip. This one looks really nice and appears to be well made, as the cord definitely seems heavy duty. Will update if anything changes. Got this in the mail quickly. Works just like an extension except I can plug my computer, light, and diffuser then use the USB ports to charge my phone and Kindle. I especially like the long cord since I dont have an outlet nearby. Very pleased with this purchase. Like other negative reviews have said, USB died about 2 months after receiving. Missed out on return window. Cannot recommend this product at all. With all the devices I have that use USB chords this is the perfect extension chord for AC and USB power. I can work on my computer, charge my phone and tablet, and power my USB smart light, all while keeping my laptop plugged in. My only wish would be that it had some sort of surge protection built into it, living in an area with frequent and active thunderstorms. While the fire department would probably have fits, I got around that by plugging it into a surge protector. The compact size and round form factor is especially nice as it takes up less room than a traditional surge protector/power strip, and makes plugging in multiple chords a lot easier. Highly recommended.

Got this charger for my son for Xmas. Within two days of usage, his iPhone 8 battery started to die and would not recharge. Took the phone to apple store and they said it will need to be replaced - the heat from the wireless charger toasted the board. Ended up spending $ 300 for a new phone because of this $25 charger. Strongly recommend not using it. Will call the Anker customer service and get their response. Will post updates from them. The Anker Qi Charger is basically useless with my Pixel 3 XL. Granted, this is mostly my fault, since I failed to read the fine print and simply purchased a qi wireless charger to use with my new phone. I dont blame Anker for this, quite the opposite: I actually blame Google, who have locked down wireless Rapid Charging and are only allowing their own dock to use Rapid Charging technology. This is the same anti-consumer garbage in which Apple has long engaged (though ironically not with these Qi Wireless chargers; go figure), and Im disappointed to see Google fall to its lure as well. But I digress. This particular Anker unit charges my phone, albeit slowly. The real problem, however, is that the charger seems nearly wholly incompatible with the Pixel in specific. It says its charging the phone but my battery continues to drain at the same rate as if it werent docked at all. Furthermore, it has serious stability issues; Ill leave my phone docked for a few minutes and it all-of-a-sudden loses connection and halts charging the phone despite my not having touched the dock or the phone. Very disappointing.Ive actually purchased another Qi Wireless Charging Stand of a different make (made by LK), and while it displays that it charges slowly like this Anker unit does, it actually DOES charge my phone and features none of the connectivity issues the Anker unit does. Im not sure if this is due to a different design, or what, but this Anker unit is nothing more than a paperweight, which is disappointing. I would expect it at the very least to charge my phone, and I could even live with a slow charging rate if it was something I could set my phone on while I work. Seeing as it fails to do even that, it is basically an expensive paperweight, and Ive actually just thrown it in the trash. This could have been avoided had I paid more attention to the fine print or done my research beforehand, so rather than 1-star I typically give to a useless product, Ill give Anker 3-stars so I dont drag the product rating down too much. By all accounts it seems a fine product for other devices, but buyers need to be warned before falling into the same trap I have an purchasing it for their Pixel phone.12/23/18 Edit: An Anker customer service representative reached out to my on their own account after seeing this review, offered me a full refund, AND offered to ship me a Google Pixel fast charger free of charge once they release. Ive bought Anker charging units in the past and Id continue to do so with confidence. Impressive customer service. If you have an iphone or another phone with which this charging unit works I wouldnt hesitate to purchase it. I am also adding a star for excellent customer service. I have purchased two of these Anker Fast Wireless chargers. I have one next to my desk and home and one in my office at work. They are perfect. They make a slight sound to let you know the phone has made contact, I can use it with my wallet case still on the phone, the phone charges fast and I can still look at it and check my next meeting or email while its charging. I tried a different brand of standup charger that had an annoying fan in it that would spin up the second you put the phone on it. The Anker stand just does its job quietly and quickly with a soft blue circle light to tell you its charging. I also prefer the stand-up model vs. the pad ones. I feel like with the pads Ive tried I have to adjust the phone several times to get it to charge, not so with this product. It just works. Note: it does not come with a charging brick which is fine with me, I have a drawer full of them. I use it plugged into a 5 port USB hub at both home and work.I plan to buy another to give as a gift at Christmas. I have a Pixel 3XL and this charger worked great, but now when i put the phone on the charger it was start to charge, then stop and the blue LED on the front of the stand will start to blink. Ive tried turning the phone off, taking the case off, and a few other things but the behavior stays the same. Anker can you give me a solution? Got this Anker wireless charger today and my first impression that it was small in size my iPhone XS Max & Galaxy Note 9 both sit unfirmly in this charger due to its small size both in width & hight, My iPhone chargers very slow! My Galaxy chargers acceptably fast but not fast enough! I cant say that i recommend this charger and i cant say it a bad charger either. Anker did it again and created an awesome wireless charger. I love the fact my phone sits up to charge, instead of laying flat. I have an iPhone XS with a Speck case on it and it charged with no problems with the case on. Its the perfect size for my phone. It comes with a cord that you connect to your charger. The only thing I didnt realize when I bought it was that it doesnt work with the charger that comes with your iPhone. It says not to use Apples 5V / 1A stock charger or a computers USB port to power your Anker wireless charger. Thank goodness I had Apples 10w charger to plug it into. I actually purchased two of theses wireless charges, one for me and one as a gift for my son. He loved mine when he saw it. It definitely is a great accessory for my new iPhone and a purchase I dont regret.

Works like any wireless charger should. Sits at my desk at work and has a small footprint so it doesnt take up much room. One thing to note is this does not come with a wall adapter, so only the charger and a micro usb to usb A cable. If your device supports fast wireless charging youll need to make sure the wall adapter you use has enough amperage. I purchased this after my 2.5 year old Anker wireless charger didnt complete charges on my phone overnight. It showed it charged but battery % didnt move. This charges faster than the older 5W wireless chargers. It is unfortunately still a dirt magnet as the coating is rubbery and every single piece of anything sticks to the top and bottom. Other than that it charges fast and seems to have a good coil in it. Anker is great and they even gave me 10% off on this due to my old one failing and being out of warranty. Use with my new Samsung Galaxy S10. No problems yet, and Ive had it for a couple months. Works as expected! Admittedly, I dont have testers like others for actual speed of charge, etc - but phone indicates its fast charging.I have a Spiegen cover on my phone & no interference.Generally, I like Anker products (and their pricing & cust service), which is why I went with this one, and so far this charger keeps that expectation met. Charges fast too. Just have to pull my magnetic back forward that covers my credit cards on the back of the cover for charging but not a big deal. Works as well as I expected. My galaxy s10 plus charges in about 2 hours. Wish it used usb c! The LED is dim/unobtrusive which is awesome for a dark room. Its really only used for troubleshooting anyway (does it have power?). Great unit for the money; bought 3. Works beautifully. It has a soft touch plastic feel on top that doesnt let my phone slide around if I bump my table or nightstand. Ill say this, Im the type of guy that cannot breath without my phone. When I got this product it took me 3hrs just to fully charge a Galaxy S7. While my original charger needs only 1hr20min when I charge my phone I like to look at it a few mins after it charges. But when I use this it barely just reaches another 1%. I dont know if thats normal or just me because this is my first time charging like this.I had planned on getting this product because I kept damaging the cord on my charger. But with something like this, itll force me to stop touching my phone. Turns out the charge time is very high. So right now its just not for me.
